Not even looking at him, Terrance finds this quite strange, but straightens up when asked. "I was told I could find a master here," he says simply. He seems a bit worried about this white haired blue skinned man, but isn't sure what to make of him. It's clear he wasn't some doddering scholar... He just had an air about him, like energy was at his beck and call. "Are you... a mage, Sir?"

[Gullara]

[Rowan Cabin - Ghar's Room]

Ghar's eyes flick upward then. The book he was holding vanishes without a sound. He stands then, looking down at the boy. His red eyes study the child. No, they seem to go further. Like he's staring through him.

"I am." He answers simply.

[Halae]

[Rowan Cabin - Ghar's Room]

The boy stares back, trying to avoid flinching. for the most part he succeeds. Interestingly, the boy also has red eyes - a deep red, the color of blood.

"Would you be willing to take me on as a student?" he asks. his voice is full of mixed determination and fear. It seems Ghar intimidates him somewhat. "I want to learn to master my power."

[Gullara]

[Rowan Cabin - Ghar's Room]

"What talent do you have, child? Why should I take time out of my studies to teach you?" The drowpire asks. "Do you think you are worthy?"

[Halae]

[Rowan Cabin - Ghar's Room]

He looks Ghar dead in the eye and says, "Yes, I believe I am."

"My father taught me some magic before he died. He said I was good enough to be a second circle mage" That doesn't sound terribly high in whatever hierarchy deals with this sort of thing, but it's not a first circle at least, or whatever is below that, "... and I have a special talent." he says cautiously. He knows that getting into this man's good graces is likely his only ticket to mastering magic, so he's not about to keep that 'Talent' hidden. "I... can use blood to empower spells."

[Inside Main Cabin]

Kirk was in the cabin not long ago, so let's say he's still there. He opens the door.

"Oh hey. Haruki, right? What's up?"

"Hi, Kirk," says the Angel, walking in. "Listen, I need to talk to someone. I know this faction and I haven't always seen eye to eye, but I'm looking for some information on something... and GLoG is pretty much the only Good organization within the Nexus that seems both, competent and trustworthy. You got time?"

[Gullara]

[Rowan Cabin - Ghar's Room]

Hm, interesting. Blood magic is a rare thing to have a natural talent for. It might be worth some further study.

"That is where you're mistaken. You aren't worthy, but perhaps in time you can be." He thinks a moment longer. "Very well. I will teach you. You will be joining lessons with my other apprentice."

"Now, what is your name, boy?"

[Main Cabin]

"Yeah, sure. Not sure how much I can help personally, but I can be sure to pass it on." Kirk replies.

It's not really importnat, but I should point out that Kirk is, in fact, a demon now. Fully and completely. You wouldn't know that by looking at him though.

[Halae]

[Rowan Cabin - Ghar's Room]

"Vant. Terrance Vant, Master" he stares at Ghar for a moment longer, then bows. When he straightens back up, he asks, "May I ask who your other apprentice is? And... Where exactly I am?"

[Gullara]

[Rowan Cabin - Ghar's Room]

"And my name is Gulaghar. But yes, it is prefered that you address me as Mater."

The drowpire assumes he is another new arrival to the Nexus. "My other apprentice is Sarah Rein. A young girl living here as well. As for where here is. This is the campsite that the Good League of Good is based out of. In the dimension called the Nexus."

[Halae]

[Rowan Cabin - Ghar's Room]

Terrance thinks for a moment, "That makes sense. The, ah, gateway I entered to get here... It wasn't normal. My father explained dimensions to me.. does that make this a crossing point for them?"

[Gullara]

[Rowan Cabin - Ghar's Room]

"It is." Ghar confirms. "It's more than that though. It draws thing, places and people from other dimensions. It's curious."

[Morty]

[Rowan Cabin - Nearby]

Sophie is hanging around there. She's keeping an eye on Ghar, of course, having gotten somewhat frustrated with the lack of progress towards finding a substitute for blood for Olivia.

[Main Cabin]

Reelshka is sitting there, drawing and generally being around if anyone needs anything.

[Halae]

[Rowan Cabin - Ghar's Room]

Terrance realizes he may want to leave his new master alone lest he draw the ancient archmage's ire. "Master when shall we begin, ah, instruction?" The young boy is trying to sound formal and sophisticated for his new teacher. it appears he doesn't have much practice with it.

Garth is outside, whittling away at some wood.

Sarah's wandering around happily, huggling her new pet. Which appears to be a... small blob, covered in innocent little eyes and mouths, 'flesh' the color of paper. It wriggles in her embrace.

Entrance --> Main Cabin]

A giant creature, easily ten feet in height, enters camp and approaches the cabin. He is almost completely shrouded in a huge cloak, a garment that appears to have been patched up numerous times. Several large spikes, organic flechettes of some sort, pierce through the robe and into his flesh.

Bellan's green gaze scans the camp hesitantly before he reaches out to give a short knock. Any flesh exposed on the front half of his body is very clearly burnt.

[Morty]

[Outside]

Brinika, who is either still here or visiting, comes running to Sarah. Hi! What do you have there?

[Main Cabin]

Reelshka stands up and looks at the huge creature. Somewhat intimidated, obviously. Err... hello, may I help you?

[The Bushranger]

Main Cabin

Jamie steps back from putting the finishing touches on her painting.
And nods.
It'll make the perfect gift...

...when suddenly her eyes widen a bit!

And she stands there for a moment, as if listning to something only she can hear.

...and then she hustles to start collecting stuff! Various kinds of stuff.
Stuff that looks to be good for fighting undead and for interacting with ghosts, in fact. <_<

[Murkus]

[Main Cabin]

The creature gives Reelshka a studious look, gaze narrow and quiet. Though the lower half of his face is concealed by cloth, he seems to make a clicking sound with his mouth.

Bellan speaks with a humbled, strained whisper. "You may. But if you are not a medical professional, I doubt you can."

[Outside]

"I made him! It's my new pet!" Sarah says gleefuly, holding out the little blob for Brinika to see.

[Gullara]

[Rowan Cabin - Ghar's Room]

"Later today." aka after Terrance gets organized to stay at GLoG. "I recommend you find someone to help you get settled in here. Most anyone will be able to help you. Go to the lakeside [whenever after getting settled in]. That will be when my lesson with Sarah starts."

So as soon as that is done and both you and Murkus get your characters there.

Do you require medical attention, then? Fair enough, I suppose. If you follow me, I can take you to the infirmary.

[Outside]

Now, most kids would be creeped out by the blob... but not goblin kids. Oooh. Neat. What's his name?

"Yes, master." Terrance says, and he'll quickly exit the room, going in search of someone that can tell him how to get himself situated. Cue someone willing to get him into GLoG

"Yeah, sure. Not sure how much I can help personally, but I can be sure to pass it on." Kirk replies.

"Well, there's this weird stuff going around. See, it's sorta like..." he starts waving his arms and puffing his frame out. "But it should be like..." he gestures and puts his arms down, standing like a normal human. "And it feels like..." he sort of lowers his head and shivers. "Which makes me think it's some sort of...." he hesitates, then raises his arms as if imitating a monster for a two-year-old.

".....also, I think it concerns vampires, mostly."

Reelshka will lead the huge monster to the infirmary, where hopefully someone medically inclined is currently present.

We should totally come up with one, then! Brinika jumps up and down excitedly.

Terrance will see a fairly short, dark-skinned woman dressed in a denim jacket and jeans approach him. Welcome to the Good League of Good.

"Right..." Kirk looks puzzled, to say the least. Ruki's complex gestures confuses him. "So vampire trouble. Well, more troublesome than a vampire is at the best of times. And it's not really obvious and it gives you a bad feeling?" /attempted translation

Terrance looks up at the woman, then inclines his head and says, "Hello! My master told me to join and get settled here. Are you able to help me?"

"No, no... like.... vampire trouble, right? Except the vampires weren't normal. But I knew one of them beforehand, he was normal. Except now he wasn't. Like he was possesed or something. He started shooting lightning at me!" he exclaims. "Vampires don't shoot lightning!"

Haruki looks thoughtful. "The other vampire got away, she was a normal vampire. But then later on, I found her again and now she wasn't anymore,and there was that weird presence again. Like she wasn't herself. Is any of this making sense?"

[Murkus]

[Infirmary]

Bellan is forced to crouch simply to get inside. I hope the ceiling is high, or the giant will probably have to stoop the entire time.

[Outside]

"Uh... you got any ideas?" Sarah says, not really all that good at naming things.

The mini-shoggy wriggles contentedly.

"Getting stuff mom needs," Jamie explains distractedly, as she starts stuffing stuff into a Bag of Holding.
