Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
Really? I don't look at the forums for less than 12 hours and this is what happens?
Alright then, I said it on day one and I'll say it now: Ramsus is definitely a wolfNot if my index finger has anything to say about it. And, as it turned out, it had quite the stirring dissertation prepared on that very subject.
Many thanks to half-halfling for the Spanish Inquisition avatar

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
Ramsus noticed the looks he was getting. He even saw a couple people following him. He casually went to his work station and locked the door behind him. In moments there was pounding on the doors.
"Well, if we can't have this place for ours, we'll at least make sure you can't keep it for yourselves." With that he threw all the lists in a bin, took out a match, and set them to burning. The pounding was getting louder. It sounded like they use trying to crowbar the door open. Fools. These doors could withstand heavy fire if they needed to. Well....they used to be able to anyway. With things in such disrepair, who knew how much it could take.
Realizing he might not have as much time as he'd like he started ripping out all the cables from the terminals and tossed those into the fire as well. There. It was done. Sooner or later this place was now guaranteed to fall apart. No stopping that now. Was that the sound of a cutting torch? And that purring engine....it couldn't be. How could they have hauled up one of the emergency drilling machines so quickly? He wished for a moment that this wasn't a secure room and there was a vent he could crawl out and escape from. The air duct he’d blocked last night hadn’t been so bad. A bit warm maybe. He shook his head. If he was going to go out here, now, he would make sure this job was done right. He took up one of the chairs and with his inhuman strength ripped off one of the metal legs. He then proceeded to smash the terminals.
He was only about half way done when he heard to door rupture. The hole wasn't yet large enough for anyone to come through. But oh, the shouting. They were mad. "Yes, yes. Be mad. Be furious. Howl in rage!" he thought to himself as he cackled. He knew he didn't have time to finish. He did however have an emergency can of gasoline and enough Med-X to put a rhinoceros into a coma.
Oh how they tried to reach him, to make the hole big enough. But there was nothing they could do before he set the room ablaze and sat back in a chair, with a wolfish grin on his face, even as he started to burn. And he laughed and laughed, feeling nothing aside from fuzzyheaded, a dull warmth, and oh so very tired.
Summary: Ramsus was Lynched. He was a Werewolf.
Night 8 begins now and ends in about 24 hours.

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
Claude Dixon looks around the water system and is satisfied that everything is okay. He has sent a manual to those he is sure can understand it and now can test his latest projet - a stasis chamber. He climbs in and sets the timer. He is locked in stasis for a while.
OOC: Going away for 2 weeks with no internet access. Please do not autolynch me. I would prefer if no-one tampered with the chamber (lynch/kill) while I am away either.

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
Why didn't I think of a way to make myself unlynch/killable through the end of the game like that?

As sympathetic as I am to your plight, we can't really have a bunch of people we're not allowed to lynch.

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
Samuel clasped the letters tightly as he ran to the meeting spot. His anonymous pen pal made so much sense. He couldn’t wait to meet him…or her. He’d reached the spot early. He’d been told to arrive at dusk but there was still a good half hour yet. The whole sanctuary was on a wolf-kill high and he was no exception. To calm himself he sat and read through his correspondence again.
My dear Samuel,
I have watched you as the days have passed and your actions have shown, at least in my opinion, considerable wisdom. While that Lady Tialait may not have been a wolf she was most certainly of suspect character! Some of the things she said. I mean really.
I apologise. I tend to ramble when I write. I wrote you to suggest a meeting of minds. I have ideas about how we have handled this whole messy affair and would appreciate a like-minded person to bounce my ideas off.
What do you say?
Your reply, should you choose to send one can reach me if you leave it under the doormat of the experimental stasis storage facility. Barely anyone uses that.
Eagerly awaiting your reply, your friend,
Anon.
My dear Samuel,
This is most intriguing. Why with your abilities, my resources and our shared brains I’m sure we can end this terrible fiasco! Can you imagine the glory? The songs that will be sung of you? The ladies competing for your hand?
I apologise. As you know - I tend to ramble when I write. My idea is a simple one. It benefits both the wolves and ourselves. Both sides should hopefully walk out of this alive and happy.
Does this sound like something worth working towards?
I think it time we should meet to discuss our plans in detail. The experimental stasis facility is still as good a place as any. At dusk, the night after next
Eagerly awaiting your reply, your friend,
Anon.
Suddenly three people barrelled past, knocking him to the ground as they charged into the experimental stasis facility. "Whoops. Sorry!" He heard someone call. "Every man for himself!" So much for “barely anyone uses it!” Harrumphed Samuel.
So much indeed. Came a voice from beside him. So much to talk about. So much to see. So much to do…So much to taste.
Looking around Samuel saw a mans face slowly growing furrier as he talked. Elongating and as it did so the words began to run together.
So much.
So much much.
Smuchmuch!
Summary: Smuchmuch was Killed. He was the Fool.
Day 9 begins now and ends in about 48 hours.Last edited by Qwaz; 2011-07-12 at 11:52 AM.

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
Rakkoon, to avoid the auto-lynch.... And because rakkoons are a problem where I come from, and we exterminate them whenever we can. They're like raccoons, 'cept with more kool letterz and rabies.
Normally rakkoons shave their fur into a mo-hawk or somesuch, dye it some crazy color of the rainbow, and join a biker gang. Their preferred weapons are claws, chains, and unholy screeching. I lost two cousins and milk-delivery man to one particularly violent specimen, which I personally killed with my trusty twin-bladed chainsaw scythe.
If you're wondering about why I had milk-delivery man, let's just say I have been alive for a very, very long time.Last edited by Julian84; 2011-07-02 at 09:06 PM.

Re: Werewolf: Classic XIII
((Okay, +1 for the random I guess, but I've already been cleared by the Seer and Mason crew. Plus, you voted off wagon yesterday too.))
Good morning Citizens. Yesterday's... unpleasantness aside, we must remember to remain stalwart and vigilant. We can't be jumping at Shadows, scared to even go to work. Why shouldn't we stand up to the werewolf menace and eradicate it once and for all?
Four announcements today:
-All doors have been equipped with a security override that myself and a few other trustworthy individuals know. If anyone tries to set fire to our home like what happened yesterday, we will be able to stop it before it spreads at least.
-As a result of the fire, sub-level 2 is currently off-limits except to the new maintenance team.
-The recent batch of Grape Mentats released to the vendortrons has been tainted with Jet. Repeat, do not take the Grape Mentats.
-Finally, will the maintenance team stop by my office before heading to work, I kind of hallucinated that I was a dragon, and my office is quite a mess. I'll be in my secur-i-tunnel, just bang twice when you are finished.
Shots rang out, as shots are wont to do.

2. Wait, I was an android?
