You know, I've been thinking - possibly because I've been listening to far too many Super Ponybeat mixes - does Pinkie Pie's laughing-dispel technique actually work in practise? Science - and magic - must know!

To this end, I have cunningly chained up some Elven prisoners from Bleak Despair's brig for an...experiment. It will be under closely monitored surveillance, of course, to record every last detail! Well, from several War Droids anyway, as everylich else was busy. I now intend to attempt a hitherto unattempted feat, and attempt to first sing at, and then laugh at the victi- ah, the test subjects and see if I can make them discorporeate!

For Science! And Magic!

What everyone seems to forget is that Derpy DOES have friends and loved ones! She has Doctor Whooves, and Dinky and her coworker Raindrops, and everyone knows the town's Mail Pony!

Of course, Derpy being an invention of fanon, she's whatever you like.

... Actually, there's a fic in that silly Carrot Top scene. Dinky has to do an assignment about her family. She realizes that she never asked about her dad, being used to being the child of a single mother. She concludes that Ms. Carrot Top MUST be her second mom, since she's always lived with her and Derpy (at least, as far back as Dinky remembers). Cue embarrassment for Carrot Top and humor from that. Possibly Carrot Top hurts Dinky's feelings by denying motherhood, and then they make up, Carrot saying that Dinky is her good friend. "Also, please don't go around saying that Derpy and me are married. I have enough trouble finding dates."

Sorry for my silence everypony (and hawk, kitteh twins, Walking wight and other sundry Brony forms). I complained about work being to easy, Celestia heard me and my karmic debt is being called in. My next day off is now tentatively set for 11 days in the future- sleep is a commodity, and once again on par with pony rather than lower on the hierarchy.
