Okay, this has gotten ... interesting for lack of a better word. I'd ask for a summary for the bits I skimmed, but I'm afraid even that's going to be a bit weird.

So instead, let me run a possible fic idea by you, and see if it's worth adding to my to-do list? A point of view fic of Luna and Nightmare Moon about some of the events of the pilot, the latter subtlety influencing the former. Throughout the fic, Luna grows aware of the influence of whatever it is Nightmare Moon is, and tries to fight it to no availl. It culminates in a Battle In The Center of the Mind, when the Elemental Blast gives Luna a massive power up, and makes her able to cast off Nightmare Moon's possession.

I like the idea of this.

Well, I've started watching. Twightlight just got trampled by Apple folk. So far, my only complaint is Applejack's voice. The accent is a bit strong.

Not too huge a fan of Dash's voice, though it's tolerable, Rarity and Fluttershy are great though. So far, Fluttershy has the best voice IMO.

Like what I've seen of all their personalities, I'm at the commercial break right after the surprise party... How did Pinkie know that Twilight was going to be staying at the library?

Edit: Pinkie's voice grew on me pretty quick, but why do ponies even have hot sauce?

I've only liked one character's southern twang right off, despite living in Georgia and South Carolina pretty much my whole life.

Also, I seem to lack episode 3, and even though there's no further continuity in season one, I still want to watch them in order, on my TV. But uh... Go ahead and roll out the welcome wagon for me. If that's okay...

OK, so I watched to find out what the hype was all about and found out it was a pretty good show. The episode with the indian expy buffalo was ruined in a hilarious manner for me though, as I can only hear Chaplain Varnus/Lord Bale/Sindri Myr from Dawn of War (SINDRIIIIIIII!!!!) when the chief speaks.

So, now I've watched all of the 1st season, when does the next one start?

Also, does having a favourite qualify me as a Brony? And am I the only one who thinks Evil Spike should replace regular Spike, even just keeping the cape/hat/moustache would be enough, that looked awesome.

I would dearly love to pretend, if only for a minute, that the main draw of this thread involves something other than stuffing me in a crate and then tying my up and sticking gags in my mouth. I know we were shipping, but eek.

Evil Spike is totally awesome and should be shown more, but I don't really prefer him over regular Spike to be honest.
