I'm expecting Xykon to totally destroy him and then boast that he, not Tarquin, is the big bad of the story who will go down in infamy.

Wait, who said Tarquin's wearing shorts? Haley's leather pants line was put in specifically to dispel the idea that the characters' legs are bare.

I normal don't look at strip title, so I just noticed that this seems to be a reference to the famous painting The Persistence of Memory

Bottom left panel. Therkla apparently misses a capital "I" now and then? (Would be a funny joke on the whole half orc thing)

Pants, shorts, maybe a kilt. I don't know. Whatever he's wearing it's red. And yes I expect him to die... but that wasn't the point. Never mind.

When Julia says that Nale would look cute if he shaved off his beard, she described exactly what Elan looked like. That probably annoyed Nale somewhat.

A quick question about #198, because I don't see any "simple questions that don't deserve a thread by themselves" thread : If Haley has enough space in her bag of holding for a cart large enough to carry the gold, why not simply throw the cart away and put the gold in the bag in its place ?

Bags of Holding have a volume and weight limit. All that gold weighs quite a bit.

Also, rules of funny and plot. If Haley had the gold in her Bags of Holding, she wouldn't be able to lose it later.

I found this rather amusing when I picked up on it: the cop Thog chops in half here had only appeared for the first time on the previous page, while all other CPPD members present appeared throughout the Cliffport arc. He had no dialogue either. The most obvious redshirt in OOTS history?

    Color me slow, but...

Comic 637 I just now realized that, at the bottom of the strip, the fiends aren't burning incense or performing a ritual with that fancy little stand.

Waaaait a minute. If V is True Neutral (as stated by Word of God), why was he sickened by Unholy Blight in #11? Creatures who are neither evil nor good aren't sickened. Retcon? Or did her alignment change over time? Can that even happen?

Eh. I'm sure it's just a case of the workings of the story not being fully thought out for every little joke, eleven strips in.

I'm sure some of the local moralists are going to claim that V's alignment dropped down to neutral during her time on the Dark Side... but I think it's pretty clear that Rich just didn't think much about the alignments of the protagonists of a gag-a-day strip.

Although that does imply that when he did lay out the plot, he consciously decided to make V the team's only neutral member. I wonder why, especially since he said in the Kickstarter interview that the saga of Darth Vaarsuvius wasn't something he'd planned right from the start.

Unholy blight effects both good and neutral creatures although netrual creatures less so

It looks more like V is affected as a Good character. Call me "local moralist" if it makes you feel better, but I believe it's pretty obvious that V's alignment dropped to Neutral during the Darth V arc.

Right. Neutral creatures aren't sickened. V is clearly sickened.

Though, granted, if I had actually made the link right it would have been easier to see for yourself. I fixed it now.

Speaking of nose holes and size, Kubota's seems pretty small. Is it just the distance of the shot, or does it mean that in "reality" he had a small nose?

The hobgoblin reporting to Redcloak here is wearing a unique blue uniform that I don't believe we've ever seen anywhere else - looks like Jirix's outfit without the accessories.
