Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I just noticed that in comic 324 Haley looks alarmed by the comment about people who may get pregnant.
It seems she has plans for Elan...

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
.....the shout out to the iconic game "Gauntlet" by Roy....
78% of all DM's start their first campaign in a tavern. If you're among the 22% who didn't, copy and paste this into your signature and tell us where you DID begin. The players were attacked individually on the road on the way to town by werewolves. To survive, they had to team up then and there without knowing anything about eachother (literally -- all character sheets were completed without other players' knowledge).

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I'm male, so I wouldn't know how a woman would react to such a disclaimer. I just noticed it (this is the 'things you noticed' thread) and thought it was a small joke about Haley being in love with Elan. Just me not understanding girl stuff
I just had a thought though. If this is a generic reaction women have to such disclaimers, what was Vaarsuvius' reaction? Was it an intentional decision not to have V in the panel?

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I never noticed that Miko's bifurcation line was in every panel she was in (even if only a tiny bit of it).
Cuthalion's art is the prettiest art of all the art. Like my avatar.

I always thought that it was just regular damage… good catch!
I never noticed that when Celia has her hair braided, she has a Haley-style perpetually-loose strand of hair.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
It took me over a year to notice that the Giant made a continuity error. In comic 666 Roy states that he dosen't remember what happened beyond the golden gate. However in comic 670 he talks about still recovering from his mom, probably refering to comics 494 and 495 both of which he already claimed not to remeber.
Impossible is a biased statement.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
2 explanations I've seen for that are:
-Because beyond the gates was a blur of bliss, the part that wasn't bliss sticks out like a sore thumb.
-If he was thinking about it a lot off the mountain then he'd remember it. Also, the Oracle reminded him of it when he said she whored up the afterlife. You never noticed how horny she is?

Random Sapphire City Guard, panel 8.
The foreshadowing. It burns us.- Sometimes, the knights are the monsters
- The main problem with the world? So many grownups, not enough adults.
- Talk less; say more.
- George R.R. Martin, Kirkman, and Joss Whedon walked into a bar. There were no survivors.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I don't think it exactly qualifies as "foreshadowing" when someone says "There are caves we can hide out in!" and, later, you see a group including that person hiding out in the caves he was talking about.

the cherubim in the last panel wear shorts. Correct me if I am wrong, but in classic art they were mostly, if not always, naked.

Re: Things you never noticed II: I never noticed the first thread
I dunno, she was pretty forked after cutting Shojo down.
Also, www.merriam-webster.com/medical/bifurcate. It was the line that divided her into two parts. I don't care that it doesn't fit upon close scrutiny or a basic understanding of Latin etymology, I like my word better than yours.Cuthalion's art is the prettiest art of all the art. Like my avatar.
