"She's a paladin, actually, like, the main one of her deity, I think." Rae says, smiling. They are nowhere near short on deities though, what with Holt and his father being there.

Saera, meanwhile, reads the note! "Huh. I didn't know Pokemon could write. Too bad I don't know how to read Common yet, though..." she frowns. If only this silly pokemon could write in Celestial.

"Perhaps a few orders." Did I meantion that Ghar being in a good mood is very bad? "We will begin immediately then." If there are no objections, the group will be teleported to a mysterious location. Suspiciously without Orich. >.>

They each find themselves in a summoning circle, with a smaller summoning circle before them all. The chamber itself is made of stone and looks to be relatively newly constructed. The only source of light are three burning brazers in each corner. There are no visible exits. "Don't step out of the circles at any point."

Simon rewrites the message in Celestial somehow, Nexus does crazy things. He showed it to Saera again.

If Zach is being conspicuous about it, Natalie notices and looks hurt. If he isn't, she doesn't notice. "Well, Saera, I built a tree house in the forest, if you want to come visit."

If Zach is being conspicuous, Natalie doesn't invite him. If he isn't being conspicuous, he is.

Saera reads the new note! And then spontaneously tacklehugs Zach! She herself is quite light, and really small anyways, so she probably won't knock him over or anything. And then Natalie asks her question! "Umm... I'd love to, Natalie, but the wedding might be starting soon and I'm the flower girl and stuff..."

Kris would notice this, but she is far too busy running over and giving her old friend a hug.

"ROSE!" Kris says with glee, wearing a rather un-Krislike beautiful dress as she hugs her friend. "How are 'ya? It's been WAY too long!"

Rose grins, as she hugs back! "Yeah, it has. You back for good?"

"Of course you can, Zach! It's always good to make new friends. We aren't going yet, though; I need to tell Jamie and Abigail about the tree house, and Saera has to be at the wedding." Natalie is very smiley and happy at the moment. She's making friends, yay!

Hugs! Zach gives Saera a big bear hug, not squeezing too tightly, though.

"Your plant thing wrote me a note!" Saera says happily. She doesn't know the names of any pokemon after second generation, though, so she has to call the poor little helpful Nuzleaf a plant thing.

"No, it is...I kept meaning to tell you, but, stuff always came up, I should have told you sooner but..."

And, between sobs, the sordid tale of Quinn and the Nymph -

Toby hugs Quinn tightly, rubs her back, and whispers comforting things into her ear. Then he gets up and walks out of the Main Cabin. Reinholdt may see him stride angrily towards the Infirmary.

Quinn relaxes. A little.
At least he didn't storm off...oh, wait.
She does find a chair and slump into it though, still crying quietly.
She's only partially reassured that he isn't leaving her, though.

Toby hugs Quinn tightly, rubs her back, and whispers comforting things into her ear. Then he gets up and walks out of the Main Cabin. Reinholdt may see him stride angrily towards the Infirmary.

But Reinholdt's heading to his room to sulk! Sulk!
Oh well. That'll have to wait, I suppose.
He goes to slip in behind Tobias entering the Infirmary.

Toby heads right into his bedroom in the back of the infirmary. He reemerges a short time later wearing his fedora and then reaches into a drawer to pull out a sharp scalpel.

Reinholdt sighs.
This was...

"What're you doing?" He asks Tobias, shifting into human form and standing in the Infirmary doorway.

Terrance, Always pushing limits, asks, "Are our hands able to leave the circle, or must all of us stay within?"

It's a reasonable question, especially for a pair of kids. Terrance seems surprised at their surroundings, but he quickly gets his bearings.

The Druid slips the scalpel into his pocket, then turns to smile charmingly at Reinholdt. Got a telepathic message. An old friend of mine is sick and needs healing. He can't leave his house so I'll just pop over quick and remove his appendix.

Reinholdt says simply.

Yes, well, you would know. Toby's smile widens and he approaches Rein. Please get out of my way.

"Afraid I can't this time. You need to stay and wait and cool down." Reinholdt's hand now holds a wand, but he stays where he's at currently, shutting the door fully with his foot. Tobias is far more powerful outside.

Toby's smile falters and his shoulders slump. The Druid eyes Rein's wand cautiously, then looks out the window. Well what would you do in my place? Assuming you even know what's going on. He sounds more frustrated and hurt then angry.

Terrance, Always pushing limits, asks, "Are our hands able to leave the circle, or must all of us stay within?"

"I would go torture the person in a thousand different ways that Calublufiok taught me so well before killing them." Reinholdt says.

"Which is exactly why you can't leave."

"I had a wife once." He says to Tobias, something very, very few people in the Nexus know about.

Well Toby was just about to shatter the window and leap out it, but now he just stares at Rein in surprise. Well I don't want to kill anybody and I don't see how I can't leave, but you had a wife once?

Reinholdt's aware of the window trick! He's used it lots of times himself.

Reinholdt nods.
"I did. Her name was Tabitha. She was the most beautiful Burmese in the world. I proposed in the bowling alley where I met her. Or rather I lost my ring in a bowling alley, some other sap found it and his girl thought she proposed to him. Typical luck for me really. Tabitha was a smart one though. We got married in the castle. Know what happened then?"

Sounds like Tobias is going to have to stick around if he wants to hear the story.

Toby reluctantly sits down on one of the cots. Your former best friend who you stole the girl from in the first place showed up and completely destroyed her mere seconds before you would have exchanged vows?
Good Lord, is he still bitter about that?

Reinholdt smiles.
"Close. I'll make you a trade. I'll tell you if you let me wear your hat while I tell it. This story demands a hat, and I just never get around to investing in one. I think it's a cat thing."

"Nothing should leave the circle. I can protect you if you make a mistake, but such trivial failures should not happen." The vampire mutters a quick incantation, making it so they shouldn't be able to leave the circles... Just a precaution, I'm sure.

"Now, repeat after me. And keep in mind that a mistake in this spell is far more dangerous than most others." He repeats the words to the spell that they have to say. "You first, Terrance."

I have no idea what wearing this will do to you, but go ahead. Toby laughs and offers Reinholdt his fedora.

Reinholdt will try to take the fedora with the hand not holding the wand, fully expecting an unarmed attack or flip or something along those lines.
