And Evian will probably find herself with a god on either side of her. "Now, you probably don't want to do that. This isn't your place to protect. It's theirs, and if they can't protect it, what right do they have to keep it?" Aerynn says, crossing his arms. "Besides, this is Rae's place now, and he's gonna protect it with his life. That means that Em's gonna protect it too, to protect him. Together, I'm pretty sure they can take this thing, even without all this extra help. With it, this is gonna be a cakewalk." Holt says, hands in his pocket, nodding and smiling.

Evian looks up at the god and goddess flanking her. Somehow...she feels a slight kinship towards them, and knows their words to be true. She smiles at each of them in turn.

"Eheh...you will have to forgive me. On top of being daughter to a powerful God, I am also a mother at heart. But...I think you are right. They are both adults, and they can handle this on their own quite fine."

Both of them are boys, silly Evian. And/or Trobby. Aerynn nods. "Understandable." Holt responds too! "Yeah, if it wasn't Rae and Em up there, or if that thing was attacking any of his other kids-" "Any kids, period." "Right, any kids period, we would be attacking. But as it is, everyone it's attacking can defend themselves, basically, so let's just enjoy the show, maybe make some witty commentary, whatever floats your boat.

"To be fair, if it attacks any children, I will also personally find a way to disembowel it." Evian nods, giggling and standing next to the two deities. "Very well then, let's watch the show unfold."

"Got it!" The psychonaut shouts suddenly. "What are the two things absolutely everyone sees every day? The sun and the moon! Therefor, obviously, if They, if They wanted to ensure Their subliminal hypnotic messages would affect absolutely everyone, that's what They'd do! Hide them on the nearest satellite and the nearest star, and cause some, some kind of fake astrological event to cover it up!" He grins, turning to look at Kate. "Does that make sense to yo- whoah!" As he takes his eyes of his feet, the psychonaut trips over a root, causing him to fall flat on his face again.

"Uh... well... that doesn't AUGH!"

She says as the sun turns into a three-pupiled eye.

..."I think that we might have bigger problems. Also, the fake astrological event would only cause people to examine said object under close scrutiny, resulting in the messaging being found faster. Instead, he should put massaging on TV and radio to distract others from his master plan."

She tries to help the odd fellow back up.

Toby undeadtimes and wanders around, looking intensely bored.

"Well, yes, but... That's actually quite possible. Scarily possible. We need to get to the nearest TV station the moment this is all over with. And I'm.... Wait. I don't know your name, and I don't know you. Why exactly are you so interested in me?" The psychonaut says once he's been helped back off the ground, suddenly sounding suspicious.

"Because I just pulled you out of some confused guy's head? Oh, uh, Kate Kyland. But I really think that he whole deface of sun and moon is more in-line with various end of the world stories. What were you doing in his head? Was it a hijacking, or did he let you in?"

Now Kyland looks suspicious.

"Er.... Maaaaybe I hit him with a confusion blast and hopped into his mind while he wasn't looking. But he was a mugger! He tried to mug me! And besides, I needed a way to get close to here without that, that terrible gazebo thing noticing me!" He says, pointing the gazebo.

"Umm... I got here just fine. I've been walking around and didn't notice the gazebo. It wasn't even animate. It hasn't even noticed us yet."

A pause.

"You're paranoid, aren't you?"

With that, the very much paranoid psionic leaps into the air, and- stays there, hovering just a few inches above the ground. "Now, I've got to see what this gazebo thing is doing, then set it on fire. Are you gonna help or what "

"Er... I don't have any special abilities or weapons or even just matches. Go ahead."

If it was a computer, she could write some simple programs. If it were a guy, she is a Junior brown belt. But a gazebo? She is completely useless.

The psion pulls a pack of matches and molotov cocktail out of hammerspace and tosses them to Kate. "Do me a favor and toss that at the gazebo while I distract it. Not like you can miss an inanimate object. Well, mostly inanimate anyway." With that, the psychonaut shoots toward the eldritch horror-thing, hovering just above the ground as if he was wearing an invisible pair of skates.

Olivia comes out of the woods, basking in the Black Sun and Red Moon's combined light. She looks lovely in it.

She's probably leading a young nude dryad girl behind her. The vampire looks around the camp, and gestures to it.

"This is GLoG. It stands for the Good League of Good."

Awfully redundant.

Yes, silly fey being nude. They dryad in question looks to be about seven years old. Her skin is a greyish brown colour and spotted with what looks to be ligh, greyish green lichen. Her hair is is a bunck of long, stringy weeping willow branches and leaves, extending down to her knees. She looks around with wide, green eyes.

"Ooh, this is really nice. What are those?" She points at the nearby cabins.

"You should always carry matches. Never know when you're gonna get kidnapped or need to burn down a house or... Or something. Here." Salix looks over to Olivia again, tilting her head. "Okay then. But why don't people sleep in trees?" It doesn't make sense to her at all.

And thankfully, she doesn't seem to get the implication behind the buildings being made of wood.

"Because most humans are not like you or me. They have terrible balance and would probably just fall out of the tree while asleep. They also prefer comfortable beds and pillows, and a roof over their heads in case it rains or snows."

Olivia shuns such things. The hard bottom of her coffin is all she needs.

"That's silly. The rain is nice, and fun to play in." This girl sure knows how to be a proper dryad. *nodnod*

I wonder if Olivia will address the clothes issue at some point. >.>

"Well, we like that too. We just don't like to be rained on while sleeping."

Olivia nods. Clothes are someone else's problem. Vampires don't need em, though Olivia just likes how pretty dresses make her. She's not a stickler for rules and formalities and decency. Besides, it's a young girl made of plant who's lived in the woods her whole life.

I think you just wanted to watch with amusement while someone else has to be frustrated with her.

Salix shrugs. Silly people are silly. "So what do we do now?" She looks around again. "There are more people to play with, right?"

"Yes. They're around here somewhere. It's sometimes hard to find people in the Nexus, until they randomly and coincidentally show up right in front of you."

Olivia sniffs the air, smelling for any children heartbeats in the camp. Because she can do that. :sagenod:

If the dryad and the vampire are looking for children, Brinika is here. Or to me more specific, watching some butterflies while Caretaker plays some music.

Looks like the music attracts Salix's attention first. "There's someone!" She points at the tiny goblin. Without waiting for Olivia, she goes skipping over to the tiny goblin, her long long hair whipping around behind her. "Hi there!" The dryad exclaims when she gets to her.
