After spending time typing, I have finally finished what I will be using for Immortals that I play.
ImmortalsSpoilerPhysical DetailsSpoilerImmortal's have long pointed ears that are longer than an elf's. Immortals can choose to look however they wish once they master shapeshifting. Most Immortals master shapeshifting 10 years after resetting. Until then they are only able to take on the form of what they would look like if their reset point was their day of birth as a human. They cannot be born into a non-humanoid form. They are also able to take the form of how old they feel. So those who feel like 20 year olds at heart will be able to take on the form of a 20 year old. Before they master shapeshifting they are also able to make variations of the two forms they can use. They can use this to make combinations. Such as half-fey, half-nymph, etc.... Their ears always stay the same in all of their forms, they cannot make their ears become smaller or larger. When Immortals become truly enraged their eyes begin to glow as if they were on fire. The color of the fire mimics their eye color. Also, when enraged, if they haven't mastered shapeshifting they can accidentally combine all the aspects of all races into a truly horrible abomination form. They are a blob of mass that cannot move or use magic until they calm down. Immortals themselves are pure magic, and radiate it constantly, this aura is constantly mistaken as a divine aura that gods exude.
MagicSpoilerImmortals learn all forms of magic, whether divine, eldritch, arcane, or other, easily. This is one of the reasons why they reset after 200 years because they become bored with nothing more to learn. Immortals only have to be around someone casting a spell to learn how the intricate magic is combined to create the spell. Depending on the Immortal and the spell, they can learn how to cast it in seconds or in weeks or months or years. Even if they are extremely quick learners, it will take any Immortal weeks of studying the spell more to have a better version of it. This means that the first version of the spell, no matter what, will be flawed and might not work the first time around. There are some Immortals that spend years in a single place meditating to learn the magic around them. This allows them to learn at a faster pace, but only lets them use a better form of an unknown spell faster. Meditating does not give them instant knowledge of how the spells work. It's more like reading a book about the spell, then when you learn how to cast the spell you already know it. Immortal's spells are hard to disrupt, especially if they have gone a while without resetting. Their spells run off of the magic that is them. If they use to much of the magic that is them in one day, they risk losing their powers for 12 hours. If they continue to persist or use way too much magic in one day, they can die. This also means they can put their whole being into one über spell that kills them utterly. All Immortals can slip easily in and out of the Psyoplane. Immortals are able to easily withdraw the energy from within them(which to mortals is a golden light) and turn it into items.
Immortal RulesSpoilerLike many races, Immortals have rules to keep each other in check. Not following the rules can end up with them being killed. There are some Immortals that are given immunity to these rules so that they can make positive changes to the world that will benefit all Immortals. The rules are thus:
1. You may only Guide and Empower mortals, directly possessing them or destroying them will result in death.
2. You may only disobey Rule 1 if it's to talk to mortals or if given permission from the Elder Immortals.
3. Immortals should reset every 200 years.
Elder ImmortalsSpoilerSome Immortals need to not reset because they keep a world together. These Immortals haven't reset since they were born and control weather and natural disasters. They sometimes appear to mortals which can get them to be mistaken for deities. These Elder Immortals have the final say in any decision that includes Immortals and are the wisest and most powerful beings imaginable. They can grant immunity to the rules to Immortals when the world needs something big changed.
PsyoplaneSpoilerThe Psyoplane is a place only Immortals can go to. All other beings cannot sense them while they are in the Psyoplane. They can see everything that's happening on the Prime Material Plane while in the Pysoplane. Physics do not apply in the Pysoplane as it is governed by a different body.
Natural PowersSpoilerImmortals can fly without a spell and become more and more clairvoyant and get clearer minds every year they don't reset. They can also easily slip into and out of the Psyoplane and even though they are beings of pure magic, they cannot be pulled apart by spells that destroy magical beings. This is because their own being is also held together by an unknown form of magic that prevents this. They have almost above godly powers on the Pysoplane, but on the Prime Material Plane they are significantly weaker. On the Pysoplane they can empower mortals and suggest things into their minds.
ResettingSpoilerWhen an Immortal resets they call back all energy that is in the form of a physical item. They remove all spells that are currently going on and break off all ties to everything and everyone. They then make what can be called a memory book that let's them learn that they are an Immortal and it also keeps the highlights of their previous life. Once read the book disappears. Reading it doesn't let them regain their memories nor does it let them relearn their old spells. Improper resetting can lead to mixed memories and no memory book.
ReproductionSpoilerImmortals are very potent and flexible. They are able to reproduce with any race. When reproducing with one of their own race, gestation takes only an hour. When with a member of a different race it takes a week. The children of an Immortal has a maximum lifespan of around 10,000 years, this is only if they procreate with a member of another race. Any half-immortal child will be a humanoid. They will also be very adept at all forms of magic and have a small amount of Immortal magic inside of them that lets them live for as long as they do. They can draw from the magic, at the cost of a smaller lifespan. If they completely use it up then their lifespan is equal to that of their non-immortal parent's race's lifespan. If they have lived beyond that lifespan when they do this they turn to dust. Pure Immortals cannot be resurrected.Last edited by Mindfreak; 2011-07-28 at 03:07 PM.

So far I've got a paranoid conspiracy theorist who's unconscious psychic powers make his delusions reality, a college student who is a literal weirdness magnet, an undead dwarf who constantly laments the non-dwarfyness of everyone else, a killer Necrommunatzi robot, and now I want to write up an sarcastic accountant (or maybe a lawyer) who's sole ability is to be utterly unfazed by everything the Necus throws at him.
