Hmm...Quick question. Would making a style's martial art charms not require a combo with each other be too powerful off the bat, or possibly alright with some tweaks?

Consider this: Would you allow someone with Solar Hero Style to not have to combo their charms together?

Before they were enhanced? Yes. But only charms of the core style; this doesn't include expansions, or excellencies.

In fact, here's a way around it; characters using a hero style with the enhanced quality can forgoe that quality, and thereby use them without a combo.

Okay, someone clear something up for me.

On page 124, the multiple action penalty is cited as an internal penalty.
On page 131, it says no amount of internal penalties can reduce the dice pool of a being of Essence 2+ below their Essence rating.
The Infinite Jade Chakram and the Charm Thousand Claw Infliction (Lunar Hero) grant infinite Rate.

Thus, these methods allow an infinite number of attacks at a dice pool of the attacker's Essence. Only an Ability which offsets DV penalties for a full action (at least) can keep these from being lethal in one action (you could theoretically use a moving dodge to get away from TCI, but that's what Foot-Trapping Counter is for).

Am I missing something?

Infinite rate got erratad down to rate 5.

Also, all infinite attack methods have always had the 'chicanery-no' keyword.

Also, I believe that multi-action penalties are an exception to the rule of your minimum dice pool being your Essence, although I can't remember where it says that exactly.

True, it's often better. But if you really need to use two charms together, it's an option. And, outside of hero styles, it makes martial arts less of a losers game. Not sure about Sidereal MA, though. I only have the Scroll of Monk for those, and you know what they say about that...

On the subject of being unable to log in, I found that clicking "Forgot Password?" and having them send a new one to your mail, then logging in and resetting the new password back to the old one solved the issue. Still get the buddy requests, but hey, I can log in.

Well, don't look at me. I am a pretty experienced GM in other games, but GMing Exalted looks about as user-friendly as a Happy Fun Ball .
