Ermine peers back at the ork quizzically. She doesn't know why he's being critical and judging! She's just drinking, after all.

"So... what are ye blokes doin' here? Did ye dig in wit' yer machine ting just ta plunder and loot dese booze stores?"

The pirate sounds admiring, but is a bit incredulous too. She understands the importance of alcohol, but looting and plundering is usually done to gold and money. Pirates have to be practical, after all. Silly orks and their... ork-y-ness.

"There's always a one!" Saera says, nodding! "Always someone that can beat you! My dad and my brother told me that, they said that's why you have to keep working to get better!"

It's not very effective. The ork just snorts and shakes his head. "Orks is number wun."

"ORKSORKSORKSORKSORKS!" The other two chant.

Then thir attention is returned to Ermine. "We'ze run outta booze. Need more." The ork says. "Brewboyz gat demselves eaten up by a buncha oversized squigs." He snorts derisively.

I ca|\|'t remember-" Nix says, although he really doesn't sound to sure, his speech interrupted every few words by huge sobs as he sits, huddled up in the corner. As Toby gets nearer, the Black Fox will likely find himself slooooowing down, as Nix's powers stretch seconds and minutes, subconsciously trying to defend himself by warping the flow of time in a small radius around him.

Toby sighs and stubbornly presses on, trying to deliver that final blow. Don't be ridiculous. You're just a ghost! You have no body, no soul, nothing but emotions and powers. You made your choice when you messed with my home, now deal with the consequences.

Renetta is determined to stay with him as long as she can. Unfortunately, after a while, that might not be much longer. There was a reason she fell asleep on the beach. She's tired, and she's starting to fall asleep.

Forest => Pathfinder's Hut

Waterstrider notices this, and after a moment, stands, trying to pick her up to take her to the hut. If she doesn't object, he'll carry her the entire way.

"Ah..."

Ermine seems a bit off-put by the chanting Orks.

"Ah, runnin' out o' booze, I know tha feelin'. Thought about tryin' ta brew me own, but I don't know nuttin' bout dat and got no way to find out. Sounds borin' anyway."

The pirate takes another swig. She leans over mutter to Saera as she does so.

"Dese boys seem ta be tha braggin' boisterous type. Tryin' ta convince dem o' anything ain't be possible witout provin' it by hittin' em harder than dey hit you, so I wouldn't bother."

"So they're just big dumb boys? I think I unnerstand." Saera whispers bach and then nods! Even though the only little boy she actually knows is her two year old brother, it probably still works! And, because sitting around watching bigger people drink is boring to a five year old, she wiggles her fingers and mutters and tries to turn all of the ork's feet pink!

Renetta will allow herself to be carried. She doesn't say anything as she's brought to the hut, she just holds onto him weakly.

Orks can hit pretty hard and can take hits just as hard. Trying to hit them would go badly.

"Orks make da best beer." One ork fishes out a flask from somewhere. It's rather large, but only has a little bit in the bottom. He hands it off to Ermine. "Try."

As for Saera's spell? Well, the very fabric of the universe demands that orks iz green because green iz best. Of course, that doesn't stop their boots from being turned a bright hot pink.

The Ralts ducks behind Abigail again as Oddball steps forwards.

"Ralts!"

Abigail chuckles. "It's okay, he's not going to hurt you."

Lake Shore

Oddball sits down. "Oddish..." He also releases sweet-smelling pollen. In long grass, Sweet Scent attracts wild pokemon; the circumstances are different, but he'd like to get to know Chiquita better.

"They're so cute," Jamie whispers to Abigail, giggling.

Yes. Which is why Ermine wouldn't bother.

"I prefer rum, usually."

She takes the flask and sniffs at it suspiciously. If it smells safe, she'll shrug and take a swig. She's not exactly a poison detector, but if its acidic or anything she can probably tell.

Pathfinder's Hut

Pathfinder isn't there when they get back, but Waterstrider carries Renetta into the hut anyway before setting her into the primitive(but comfortable) bed. "You should rest." He tells her gently before turning his back to leave, taking his own blanket as he goes to lay outside.

"Thanks, Waterstrider." Renetta waits for him to step out before mumbling. "I'm sorry abut everything." It won't be long after that that she curls up into a tight, little ball and falls asleep.

Waterstrider's keen ears pick up her muttering after he steps out, and he sighs. He doesn't start when he feels a familiar paw squeezing his shoulder, his brother suddenly appearing. Pathfinder gives off the soft yet slightly bitter scent of Reassurance-Understanding-Concern, and Waterstrider gives him a flick of his ears, replying that everything is okay.

He sets the blanket on the ground, on his usual spot outside the hut, slightly to the left of the entrance so no one trips on him, and curls up on the rough earth. It wasn't comfortable to sleep on the ground every night like he had been since he got there, but he hoped it would be worth it in the end.

He just needed more time.

Boots are just as good as feet! Sure, unless the boots really like being pink it should wear off in an hour, but it's enough for a few giggles from the little girl right now! "So... What are you guys anyway?" Saera asks. She honestly has no idea.

The drink smells of no poisons... Unless you count the truly ridiculous amount of alcohol. It tastes sort of fungusy, and bad. Very very bad. It has a bit of an oily feel to it. One good sized glass could get a seasoned drinker drunk. There's only a bit in the canteen however.


These boots love being pink like nothing else, clearly.

"We da orks! Da biggest an da baddest an da meanest!" One ork replies enthusiastically. Somehow the 'k' is clear.

"ORKSORKSORKSORKS!"

[Pathfinder's Hut]

Some time after Renetta's encounter with Earl's three elves, which took place during Waterstrider's sleep after his own scene with Renetta, Renetta returns to the hut. She's stopped crying, but her face is tear stained, her eyes are puffy, and she looks altogether miserable.

Ermine wrinkles her nose as she drinks the orks' drink. She's still on her feet, which is a good sign.

"Y'ar. Ye poor tings... Drinkin' dis, no wonder ye act like ye do."

She gives the orks a sympathetic frown before chucking the flask over her shoulder and quickly taking a swig of the dwarves' alcohol.

Waterstrider wakes at the sound of her steps, groggy with his fur sticking up in some places. His ears are wide open at first, but then fall back when he sees the state she's in. "Renetta, what's wrong? What happened?" He asks, getting up with a wince as his joints pop and muscles creak from sleeping on the hard ground.

"Huh. Do you have any friends?" Saera's curious! "Friends are a good thing to have!"

Renetta takes a faltering step toward Waterstrider. She hesitates a moment before very quickly closign the distance in between them. The elf practically collapses into him before recounting the encounter with the elves. Before the end she's crying again, but not like she had been before.

"Frends?" The orks look between each other, looking confused. "Wot frends?"

Meanwhile, two of the orks get to their feet and start loading some of the rum in their digging machine. Looks like it's almost time to go.

"Friends are people you like!" Saera explains. "They're people who you have fun with or can trust or lots of other things! If you don't even know what friends are, then that's really sad..."

How exactly is Toby trying to kill Nix? Because his sort of ghost is kind of difficult to actually destroy.

Well, Toby will attempt to cut up Nix with his ghost touch knife for awhile, delivering the sort of blows that would be fatal on a normal person. And if that doesn't work, he'll try channeling fire and electricity into him. He's not exactly a specialist at ghost busting.

Pathfinder's Hut

Waterstrider listens to her, eyes closed, as he holds her close. He winces every so often, reminded of his own mistakes. At the end, he nuzzles her cheek gently before standing and carrying her back to her bed. If she doesn't object, he'll get in next to her though, to try and continue comforting her. He hopes that maybe it'll be okay for her until she falls asleep, at which point, he'll try to get away from her, not wanting to cause more nightmares.

Renetta allows him to lie with her, but only with her back to him. Mostly because she feels the need to curl up into a ball to sleep. She is very tense, but still grateful for him. After she eventually falls asleep he will be able to slip away without disturbing her.

'John' finally undeadtimes and stretches.
He then looks for someone who looks important. odds are that they will be able to help him sign up fir the redemption program.

Andy steps out of the entrace 'John' may clearly spot him after all he seems a bit important or more he seems to be non of the people who seek redemtion.

'John' stops near Andy while staying at a respectable distance.
"Hi. Would you happen to know where I can sign up for a redemption program?"

"Yes I know it, because I'm one of the persons doing them. Pleasse follow me."

He will then go inside and they will if he follows end up by the chesnut Cabin.
