now try and go as far away as you possibly can from it while still being high magic fantasy in pre-industrial* times.

thats Exalted. basically.

*edit: mostly pre-industrial. Alchemicals smash that definition to pieces. I've been trying to find a good way to describe all of Exalted in the shortest, clearest manner possible, and this was my closest one yet...
