Personally I'd go with the third one, but that's just because the second one gave me a slight headache.

Which is just more reason to make an avatar for this, headaches would be the least of my problems.

If you're volunteering to make that (the glitchy bard playing Missingno instrument), I'd be happy to use it. Otherwise, I'm going to stick with the simple edit. It's really all I have the time (and skill) to do right now.

Lateral! Or people in general. You asked for a Cthulhic reprise of your classic Ahab Avatar! I have not done the background yet, but here's a WIP that could be used as an avatar in and of itself. It's, ah, the Ahab.

The shadow is uneven. I should probably work on that as I continue this. Also, it looks terrible at that resolution.

That looks much better but the tentacle-peg leg still looks terrible. Might have to rethink that.

It's also terribly dark. Could lighten the shadow layer. Why do I not notice these things until I upload and post? I like the slime, though. Need some more of that on the tenta-leg.
