Sophie returns the hug heartily. I can't wait to see it as well. I'll definetly show up as soon as it's open.

"Oh, thank you so much!" Tarin is a ridiculously cheerful person, but somehow, she manages to look even happier, almost radiant. "I have to go get things set up, but drop by any time! I'll see you soon!" And then... oh. She tries to kiss Sophie on the cheek before darting out with a merry wave.

Misaki squeezes the first egg too hard, and it bursts all over her. "Uh-oh."

Sophie is kissed on her cheek and rubs that spot as Tarin darts out. After she's gone, the Hunter goes back to her practice.

Oooops. Brinika scurries over with a piece of cloth and tries to get the egg off Misaki.

Prometheus arrives at GLoG, carrying with him a small pack, but no weapons. Well, no visible weapons. He's not hauling his gauss rifle or longsword around, he's not even bringing Strength, but it's unlikely he'd go anywhere without at least a few weapons.


He makes his way over to the infirmary, knowing that there's usually somebody about in hospitals or the like, and knocks on the door.

"Um..." Jamie swallows, still hugging Caroline, then takes a deep breath. "I left when she was rubbing his chin and going to kiss him. I didn't want to watch, especially seeing as how she was going to kiss him right after Vincent dumped her..."

Oh dear.

Vincent turns his glare on Jamie.
"I never dumped her! She ran out of NO after saying she hated me cause I was too young."
There's a hint of sadness under the rage Vincent finds himself unable to direct or vent.

Reelshka peers at everyone present.
Interesting. What do you have to say to that, young lady? She turns to Caroline.

Caroline looks at Vincent, and growls. She'll try to turn the hug into a hostage hold, possibly placing her right claws to Jamie's neck. Why'd you have to come and fowl everything up, again!

And don't try anything, or I'll rip her throat out! If the claws are at Jamie's neck, she'll try to dig them in, just a little, for emphasis.

Jamie squeaks in surprise as Catoline takes her hostage!
But one hand slips into her pocket, wrapping around her wand.
"You dare to attempt violence against the Druid Princess Mikani, Princess of Vulpania and defender of nature and true hearts?" she asks, her voice surprisingly cold!

And unless the wand gets batted away in a hurry, she just might Transform!

This might be rather startling and distinctly uncomfortable for anybody holding onto her at the time...

Caroline, having quick reflexes will indeed attempt to bat away the wand. The wand that she knows about, having worked with Jamie/Mikani just recently. None of that, Jamie! she will hiss in Jamie's ear, if successful.

I have a feeling Caroline won't care, if she remains in this state, what Dipsnig feels.

[Underground Dwarf Rum Room]

Reinholdt was here... holding a Teddy Bear in the nook of the arm with the broken hand and a rum bottle in the other. Somehow or another, Reinholdt managed to craft a make-shift eyepatch for the teddy bear, probably from old clothes. In his other hand, he holds a rum bottle which he waves back and forth, liquid spilling out occasionally.

Drinks it all down!

There's a pause at Drink it all down, where he does just that.
He's singing. Badly...

Butler arrives here on his rounds.
"Hello sir. Welcome to GLoG sir. Can I help you sir?"

Vincent starts forward, but stops, not wanting to endanger Jamie.
Though it seems Jamie's about to do that herself.
"Caroline, stop! This isn't you!"

Outside the Infirmary

"Greetings. I am seeking help with certain anger management issues I seem to have developed, and heard this was the place, if any, where I could find such help." Prometheus says, voice monotone. Already, he likes this place better than AMEN. Primarily because there's at least one person here who understands basic etiquette, and the same cannot be said for the Association. "If you could help me find one of the people in charge of this place, I would be quite thankful."

[Reinholdt]

Outside Infirmary

"Umm... ok sir. Someone here should be able to help you sir. Maybe Quinn is in sir." Butler goes to open the Infirmary door for Pro and head in. "Are you in here Quinn ma'am?"

(Plotcloned) Quinn is indeed here, and looks up with a smile as Butler enters!
"Hello, Butler. What do you need?"

She grits her teeth, willing herself not to appear scared. At all.
It's...actually pretty effective...
"Caroline, I know you're in there...think about what you're doing! We're friends!"

Prometheus will follow Butler into the office, although not without checking to make sure he isn't walking into a trap. He doesn't say anything though, as it would be dreadfully rude to answer a question addressed to someone else.

"This person wanted to talk to you ma'am. He thinks that maybe you can help him with something ma'am." Butler says.

"I have been having trouble dealing with anger, to be precise. Recently, I've found it more and more difficult not to murder people who deserve it." Prometheus says, his tone implying he finds most people deserving of death. Then again, most people he knows really are.

Quinn nods, and waves to a chair. "Please, take a seat, Mr...?"

"Good luck sir." Butler says, before excusing himself from the room.

The thought of lying about his name occurs to Prometheus as he takes a seat, but he quickly dismisses it. True, someone could run a background check using his name, but as he's not registered in any system, no birth certificate, ID, driver's license, they would have to actually talk to people who know him to get any information, and his description alone is unmistakable enough that a simple name change won't fool any of his acquaintances.

"I am Prometheus. An honor to meet you, Mrs. Quinn." Prometheus says politely. He knows who she is of course. He knows about all the members of the Council, just in case he has to murder any or all of them. Unless the names of Council members are kept secret of course.

"That's a rather...unusual name," she states.

Er, how does Quinn know Prometheus? Because he was kinda trying to avoid recognition.

"That it is. But I always found my namesake's intent admirable, and hope to one day live up to that legacy. Without the eternal punishment, of course." Prometheus says simply, leaving out that his name was meant to be an insult. "My father was an interesting person."

"Excuse me, Caroline Ma'am?" The duck that's been watching has found himself getting involved! "Uh, could you please let my friend Jamie go? If she got hurt, I'd be sad. You can take me hostage instead if you do. Please?"

"Girl or woman, the Caroline I know wouldn't lie, manipulate, cheat, and threaten to kill her best friend," Jamie whispers.

Shut! Up! Caroline will try to dig her nails in deeper, drawing more blood.

Caroline will look at the duck out of the corner of her eye. I don't think so. Somehow, I don't see it as quite as effective.

She does, however, try and slide her hand back into her pocket.

She'd fire off a spell, but she can't be confident of hitting Caroline without hitting Jamie as well...

((Yeah, I'd say retconning those last two posts would be best, as to my knowledge the only two people outside AMEN who know about Prometheus's involvement with the Association are Rae and Bellan, and I'd rather not have Prometheus get discovered without somebody taking the time to actually do a thorough background check.))
