Favorable interpretation of Share Pain power + share spells.

In my dream share spells rebounds the effect so that Xie and Oxie each take half damage, no matter who gets targeted. (It doesn't work like this )

So those 22-30 point damage kelgars? Team De'Athbypro Xie each soaks 11-15, or only 1-5 real hp after a shared vigor. Xie has the HP to soak every empowered blast, and enough PP to match every one of Cinder's 1st level spell slots. Finish it all off with a gentleman's agreement that Xie won't buy additional healing/vigor expendables if Cinder won't go crafting additional scrolls.

If it tactic had actually worked, Xie could have gone toe-toe with Cinder on at least even odds.
