Not realizing the laser bolt was aimed to miss, Cephar dodges to the left to avoid it, acting in perfect accordance with the razor sharp survival instincts bred into the seadwellers by generations of having to avoid countless assassination attempts. Unfortunately said instincts don't cover letting go of the damn wheel, and Cephar doesn't even have time to think of doing so, so that when he swerves to the left to avoid the laser, the ship swerves wildly as well, his accidental application of pressure to the accelaration pedal only making things far, far worse.

Everything that isn't tied down goes flying into the air or tumbling across the deck as the ship suddenly lurches forward, atomic fire pouring from the engines as the gas pedal is floored, the frigate accelerating by nearly a full order of magnitude in less time than you could say- "6race fΩr impact!"

For the second time in ten seconds, everything goes flying as the ironclad collides with the shore, smashing over the rails, through a half dozen houses and tearing across the ground, propelled onward by the sheer momentum from the brief flare of atomic acceleration. Rubble flies through the air, bouncing off the hull and skipping over the deck, the air filled with the sounds of destruction and dying machinery. Finally, the runaway ship slams to a halt as it collides with a particularly solid apartment complex, the sudden halt causing Cephar to crack his head against the wheel and Lamina to go flying overboard, tumbling down into the wreckage and who knows where.

...

Let's hope he doesn't land on any particularly pointy rubble.

Ilpholin sits up in bed, feeling better.
"We should be going soon Valente. Staying in one place for too long is bad."

A split second before the **** hits the fan, Seiphidis realizes his mistake, giving him just enough time to regret it.
"Grub ****Σ."
The ship twists and turns like a gogdamned angel snake thing and Seiphidis jumps up, thinking he can wait out the momentary disturbance of the deck in the air.
He'd be right if the deck didn't lurch up and smack him in the face, mixing in some of his own blood with that smeared across his face. Finding himself plastered to a hard surface rapidly heading for another hard surface, Seiphidis growls and does exactly the opposite of what his instincts tell him to do-he stands the **** up.

WHACK!

A sizeable chunk of wood smacks his face and tears open the deck, dropping him into the hold below, presumably with the NPC trolls.

Exbourne Manor- Ramiro's Office

"Of course. Whilst I'm here, do you have anybody in particular you want me to spy on? I don't have any monkeys in Inside yet, but I can get them there quickly if you so desire." Mortius's dessicated face twitches in a brief smile. That's the good thing about mummifying yourself into lichdom- facial expressions.

Westside Children's Home

There's another orphan here. He's small and rather round. His skin is grey, and he has large ears. His eyes are purple with silver flecks and he's bald, though there's a few whiskers on his chin. At the moment, he's sitting somewhere out of the way with a book.

His name is Gremalphin, he's nine, and if ever he wants to find his parents, he'll probably find them quite easily. After all, he's a quarter gnome, halfling, goblin and dwarf.

Valente nods. "Yeah, alright. Whenever you're ready to move. Do you have an idea where to go... I don't really know any good places. We should get out of Riverside though."

[Exbourne Manor - Ramiro's Office]

Ramiro considers for a moment. "There is, in fact. Lavros, the owner of Club Pulse here in Westside. I'm not looking for anything in specific, just keep an eye on him."

[Eastside - Hospital]

"I can't afford to lie here. I think I know a place we can go. Let's just get out of town first." Ilpholin says as she moves to get out of bed and stretch a couple of times.

[Earl of Purple]

Exbourne Manor- Ramiro's Office

"Of course. I shall get on that immediately. Please excuse me; I must leave." With that, Mortius turns to leave the room. If, at any point as he exits the building, Mortius is alone, he takes some bones from a hidden pocket inside his robes and clicks his fingers. The bones form into the skeleton of a monkey, which quickly tries to find somewhere to hide. If he was searched upon entering the building, then the skull would have been found if not the whole skeleton and he can't perform this trick. The same if he's escorted out.

Club Pulse- Roof

Three skeletal monkeys arrive here, quickly surveying the building for potential entrances. That includes air vents, windows, unguarded doors and cat flaps, plus anything else that might work.

Club Pulse- Sewers

Another monkey is here, looking for a way into the building from down here, such as an access hatch in the toilets or a wide enough pipe. This is just in case; Mortius isn't expecting anything, and the building above ground is more likely to be useful.

"Alright, let's get going then." Hopefully they manage to avoid the people Ramiro is sending.

[Exbourne Manor - Ramiro's Office]

While Mortius is not escorted out, there are a few people around. Of course, he will find himself alone at some point. He may wish to note the new security camera's around. They can't see everywhere of course.

Actually, he doesn't. He's over two hundred years old; he doesn't recognise them. So it's entirely possible that the skeletal monkey is spotted on camera at some point, though it tries to stick to shadows, under tables, and other places people don't look.

Ilpholin nods and goes to leave and head out of town with Valente! Indeed, she does hope to escape without running into trouble, but she wouldn't be surprised if it didn't happen.

Club Pulse- Roof

Well, it's a club. There is plenty of entrances for skeletal monkey's at the bottom floor. There is however no entrances at all at the second floor, the only window closed shut with a drape covering it.

Depending on what time the monkeys enter the building it might be filled with people or mostly empty except a cleaner doing his round.

Club Pulse- Sewers

The pipes are actually quite small so the monkey's won't have any luck down here at the very least.

"No, I believe that will be all for now, Sir Cybil." Comes the words of the Genesis. "You are dismissed."

[Wellspring Tower - Throne of Rings]

"As you wish my lady. Call upon me whenever you need my aid again." Cybil replies as she get's up, She seems to hesitate however. "May I ask if you have a room, somewhere I could live? I'm sharing my liege's home at the moment but it feels like I should try to get more freedom since we came here." The knight asks.

Magtok nods, and rises up from his seat.

"I think I'll do that, Mr. Lavthos. You'll be hearing from another clone soon, one who hopefully will have the foresight not to come so bogged down with firearms as I."

He moves towards the door, intent on gathering up his weapons and getting right on out. Gods, is that vampire guy creepy.

[Club pulse 2]

"Very well, I will expectingly await your return Magtok, farewell for now." Lavthos replies before Magtok will be escorted into the elevator once again and return to the bottom floor.

He will get back his weapons from the smiling bartender and will be free to leave now.

Of they do. The make their way down a fairly crowded street. No one accosts them for a bit, but no doubt Ilpholin soon notices the woman following them. She's being subtle about it, staying a ways back, but knowing Ilpholin, she'll notice.

In any case, it's not noted at the moment. Could be found out in the future though.

The monkey's first objective is to get into the walls- most are slightly hollow for water pipes, electricity wires, and so on. But that's going to be difficult.

Club Pulse- Roof --> Inside

They'll pick a time when the club isn't very busy, sneaking past the janitor, or trying to. They stick to shadows, under tables/chairs, and other hiding places.

Ilpholin does notice.
She does not react visibly, but does help to lead the exit such that they stay in public areas. To avoid being ambushed in abandoned alleys and such.

The woman gets a bit nearer as they go. She's rather mundane. Nothing about her really stands out. Rather plain with darker hair. Dressed in a simple tshirt and jeans. In any case, she's definitely following them, and rather annoyed that they're keeping to the more crowded streets.

"Looks like we're gonna get out of here without any trouble." Valente says, aiming a smile her way.

Difficult indeed. Off the top of my head, I can't think of a good way for one to get into the walls. You'll have to come up with something specific, or point out something that I'm missing.

Eastside- Crash Site

Aboard the wrecked ship, Cephar rises to his feet, wiping away the blood from his rather severe headwound with the back of his sleeve as he stumbles across the deck, barely managing to keep his balance as the wreckage settles and the ship lists to one side. Reaching the laser cannon mounted to the prow, Cephar clambers into the driver's seat, setting the cannon to Automatic Threat Removal Mode before allowing himself to pass out into a state of blood-loss-and-head-trauma fueled delirium.

Meanwhile, amidst the ruined buildings, Lamina rises to his feet, only to collapse again almost immediately as he discovers his right leg is quite badly broken, shards of shattered bone breaking through the skin in several places. Luckily, Lamina is made of tougher stuff than any pansy seadweller and tries to stand up for a second time, this time grabbing onto the hull of the ship for support so he can avoid putting pressure on the broken limb. Basically hopping along, he makes his way through the wreckage, looking for wounded people to help.

Inside the Wrecked Ship

Whew, it reeks in here. Between all the trolls hastily herded inside and the dozens of lussi brought along, the horrid stench emitted by the overheated engines and the blood splattered everywhere from the constant fighting, the cargo hold looks and smells like a battlefield. Sei lands on some poor red-blood, knocking the unfortunate troll to the ground and stunning him. "Heey♠, wh♠tsup Sei? ♠in't like y♦u t♦ be slummin it d♦wn here with us l♦w-bl♦♦ds." Oh dear, elbowing and shoving his way through the crowd towards Sei is that abominable indigo-blooded creep Reynar, the usual ****-eating grin plastered on his face. Unlike most indigos, Reynar doesn't wear facepaint, except for a red heart drawn around his eye, which according to him symbolizes "platonic pity for all of trollkind" or some nonsense like that.

"Wouldn't that be nice?" Ilpholin says with a smile, stepping up the pace a little bit, but sticking to the crowded streets strategy.

"SilΣncΣ. I don't rΣquirΣ furthΣr humilation," Seiphidis removes himself from the unfortunate rustblood and reaches down to help the lowly lowblood from their lowly low position of low lowness.
"ApologiΣs, lowblood."
Seiphidis looks about.
"WhΣrΣ is my lusus?"

Facility - Eastside

Cutter pulls his blade from the corpse and spits on it in disgust before going back into the facility, to begin making his way to his dear friend.

[Facility - Eastside]

Cutter can proceed back into the facility with little difficulty. The tunnels haven't been populated since he left. When he reaches the closed door that the horror was behind, he'll find it still standing.

We'll have to wait till tomorrow for SC, however.

The girl manages a weak nod. She manages to control herself, but a few tears cut through the blood on her face. "I don't know how to get out of here, and there are... things out there. Killing people."

[Facility - Eastside]

"Things? What kind of things?" Robin asks, her voice wavering with fear. Though she was a lot more resistant to damage than a normal human, the Muse could still be badly hurt. And if these were the wrong sort of things... she shuddered to think about it.

[Facility - Eastside]

Cutter will find the door strangely silent, seemingly the horror have given up and resigned itself to whatever fate which lies within those locked doors... probably.

Cutter listens closely to the door and opens it warily, blade ready in case someone or something is around to attack him.

[Eastside - Facility]

Nothing seem to attack him right away though there is a lot of blood and body tissue laying all over the floor together with an single human eye and a part of a torso.

Facility - Eastside

Cutter stomps on the eye before going on his way to try and find Robin, following Fredrick's directions.

"I- I don't know. It kept changing. It was pretending to be someone before it attacked." The girl shudders at the memory. It was horrible.

"Don't worry. It'll be okay. It's not in here. I... I'll stop it if it comes here. Okay?" Robin promises the girl.

"Okay." The girl nods and stands a bit straighter. Time to push past her fear... or at least try to. "We need to get out of here. I... I don't know the way, though."

"That's alright." Robin assures her, "We'll find it. I'm sure they're marked."

Up in the skies the self proclaimed hero Shin is quickly flying over the riverside with a mechanical scope materialized over his left eye. He has it set to scan for lifeforms. The specific life forms being trolls.

Eon is one of the more silent one right now. Until anyone diractly acts with him he follows to the bath.

[Eastside Backstreet]

And again a strange fog appears in a backstreet. The deep Fog again makes his way through the main street and it will bock the way of the few poor NPC walking around here.

Every PC who watches this szene may notice that most NPC who walk through the Fog appear nacked on the other side. There face shows an inner fear and there blank underline this.

There isn't any NPC leaving the fog without getting robbed, since they allways go alone through the Fog Wall. Even the poor police man, who thought they could earn some honour, failed and got robbed as well.

"E-everything?" Riley scrunches up in fear and follows the twins closely.

"Well most things anyway. She didn't seem to notice the painting yet, so I guess she doesn't know everything." Michael lets go of Lily's hand as they reach the door to the bathroom and she walks in without a word. Unless anyone has any complaints, he'll then lead Riley and Eon to the boy's dorms and show them their new beds.

Depending on how out of the way Gremalphin is, the three may run into him at some point.

"Here's the beds anyway. The elders and sisters don't mind if you hide things under them, so long as you keep it tidy. You get a trunk too, see?" he waves to the smallish chests at the foot of each bed.

In the middle of his search to find the trolls Shin hears a commotion from down below and looks to see, a giant wall of fog? figuring that the trolls could wait a few minutes Shin flies down to the citizens that were on the side of the fogwall. "Not to worry citizens, my name is Shin Shikigami and I'll be your super hero today." He says this all with a loud and boisterous voice, trying to sound impressive. "Now then, what kind of trouble do you seem to be having with this fogwall?"

"Thank you...I'm...I'm gonna go to bed, I think..." Riley nervously crawls into a bed, as if he thinks it will eat him, and lies down on top of the covers.

Westside Children's Home

"Err, okay. I'll come wake you when it's your turn in the bath." Michael is somewhat displeased. He wanted to show Riley his comic books...

Meanwhile, Elder Moss checks on Lily, making certain she hasn't overdrawn the bath. When he's sure she has it right, he'll lay a hand on her shoulder to signal it is time to close the taps.

"I'll go ring the bell then, make sure to get under your arms and between your ears little Lillith." Lily nods and giggles at the name he has for her.

Elder Moss, a not-very-elder-at-all young man of fair height and normal features, heads to the kitchen and rings a bell hanging there twice.

That should be the sign for all the orphans to line up for bathtime.

The boy makes his way to the baths to join the line. He eyes the other children weirdly, as if sizing them up to eat.
