Talnissa, unless stopped, reaches around behind herself, and traces a small sigil on the back of her dress, which will cause the unspecified (as her player hasn't decided it ) method of keeping it from slipping off to stop doing so.

You don't need to attempt quite so much. Kara is quite happy to watch, half-turned, eyes wide and cheeks flushed!

Harnel will start working her shoulders more in earnest when her shoulders are covered in scales. Since he isn't exactly trying to punch them through, his claws won't go through her scales, and so the whole massage will be far, far more enjoyable.

You don't need to attempt quite so much. Kara is quite happy to watch, half-turned, eyes wide and cheeks flushed!

Well, it was certainly possible that Kara would mind the nice warm hand being removed from her back.

In any case, she'll see that Talnissa apparently changed more than just her clothes before they went to dinner, as, instead of the clothes-simulating body she was using when they first met, she appears to be a normal human, except that she's made of metal.

Kara does mind, but even in her state doesn't mind because she knows the promise of more.
And she gasps quietly, as she looks Talnissa over admiringly, amazingly, and lovingly.
"How...that's incredible...!"

Talnissa smiles lovingly, and starts to trace an elaborate pattern on Kara's back.

"How did I change bodies?"

Kara nods emphatically, shivering happily at Talnissa's touch.
"Yes. You're beautiful. I mean, you were before, but you are now too...I mean...well, you know..." She giggles, then sighs happily.

Talnissa, as Kara seems to enjoy it, continues tracing the pattern. Which, considering how she removed her dress, I should probably specify is completely non-magical.

"I learned how to make things like this, back where I'm from. It's one of the reasons I took a job at the Clockwork Shop. I had enough parts, and the time, so... I made a new body, and took control of it like I did the one you first met me in."

Kars shivers happily, each touch of Talnissa's fingers making goosebumps rise on her skin.

Talnissa smiles happily at the compliment, and continues the tracing, leaning into Kara.

Eew! Pickles! Clarissa swallows hard before cringing and sticking her tongue far out of her mouth!
"Bleh! You taste horrible!"

Clarissa blames Dave for his terrible flavor! Bleck! Clarissa quickly covers her abdominal region with her hands!
"Yuck!"

Quit griping already, Clarissa! It's unbecoming of you to continue!
"Glah! Even soap tastes better than you do!"

Hmm... Maybe Dave is an acquired taste?
"You wouldn't mind if I ate the rest of the corpse you were munching on to evict this disgusting aftertaste from my mouth, would you?"

"And sorry about the finger... I would try to reattach it, but I don't think you would find it useful anymore..."

"Oh... That makes sense..."

Spec states, unsure of whether or not she is telling the truth. All she knows is that Trium's place is weird. Very weird.

The Hatteress shakes her head from side to side slowly, more than a little disappointing. Dang! Could this guy get anymore desperate? I mean, he's even trying to play the whole "my brother is a deranged mammal who was murdered in cold blood by your father" card! So predictable!

"The answer is still no, you moron."

Glare! GLARE!

The mechanical mouse-warrior clings to the bucking kangaroo with as much tenacity as a cowboy holding onto his six-shooter! He refuses to be removed!

"Charge!"

The machine apathetically orders! He hopes that his unwilling steed will hop toward the enemy, Sir Hex! It will be valiant! It will be glorious! It will be...impossible because the mouse-warrior has been thrown off of Jerry and is soaring through the air probably toward Hex's current position!

Time for an absolutely hilarious battlecry!

"Aaaauuugggghhhh!"

That's no battlecry! That's just screaming! I demand a refund!

Dave cannot answer Clarissa because he's still freaking out.
In fact he's slumped against a wall with his hands on his head, a bit sways from the corpse.
"I ate...so many people..."
He looked at Clarissa.
"All because of that damn ring!"
He rocked back and forth.
"I need mental bleach. Now."
As you can see, he isn't making much sense.

"Oh... That makes sense..."

Spec states, unsure of whether or not she is telling the truth. All she knows is that Trium's place is weird. Very weird.

Trium nods, and continues on - the next door is set up like the hatch of the escape pod, and if Spec follows, she'll see that the room beyond appears to be a forest at night... Including trees growing in it, an occasional breeze, and the sounds of nocturnal birds and insects. Unless, of course, she has some way to remain unaffected by illusions, in which case, the breeze andd noises won't be there, though the trees are quite real.

Clarissa doesn't quite comprehend all of this stuff right now. Why? Because she is an unrepentant, evil predator, that's why! All Clarissa knows is that she is hungry and there's a perfectly good partially-eaten human corpse resting not too far from her feet. She reaches down and picks up an arm, tearing off a chunk of flesh before she even manages to stand up straight once again.

"Sorry. I didn't think you'd actually go through with all of this."

Clarissa is not sorry. Not sorry enough to outwardly express any apologetic signs, anyway.

"Are you feeling alright? Does your stomach hurt?"

Dave is down one finger, Clarissa! He's also clearly suffering from a psychological breakdown! Is there any possible way he could feel alright?

Not speaking a single word, Dave goes inside the house, leaving the door wide open.
He goes into the kitchen and takes a lighter out of the drawer, and lit it.
After a few minutes he turned it off and pressed the metal tip to his cut off finger, slightly cauterizing the wound and stopping the bleeding.
He then goes into the bathroom, took off his clothes including his mask and got into a cold shower.
He sat down in this shower and hugged his knees.

Clarissa is incredibly puzzled. Dave didn't answer her! Did she finally accidentally break him? Clarissa hopes not. She thought that she had found someone so resilient that he could not be smashed-flat by her antics.

After several minutes of intense deliberation, Clarissa decides on a course of action! She plods over to the bathroom door and knocks on it twice!

"Dave? I can regrow your finger, if you want. I just need to gather a little more energy first, so if you're worried about that, don't be."

"..."

"I didn't mean for you to get hooked on eating people..."

"If you don't reply to me, I'm going to assume that you've died and storm this bathroom."

Dave appears to be very, very angry with Clarissa... That is never desirable. Never.

Dave doesn't answer, however the door is unlocked.
He does reach for the body wash and begins to clean himself.
He gives up halfway and just begins sobbing.
He feels like he's become like his mom, he killed so many innocents and then ate their bodies.
He feels horrible. He's typically a good guy...
This whole ring thing might not be good for his and Clarissa's relationship...

Clarissa tentatively tries to open the bathroom door by twisting the doorknob to the right. Assuming all things go according to plan, she'll poke her head into the bathroom and glance about the room until she spots the distraught Dave, at which point she will shuffle over to his side and attempt to gaze deep into his eyes.

"Look, I know how hard it is to live with the guilt you must be feeling at this very moment. I went through that stage as well. You're not alone, and you did nothing wrong. Understand that. I did. You weren't yourself while you were wearing that ring. You were me, okay."

"And now you know what it feels like to exist as I exist. I feel the same way every single day that I remain here. I can't help myself."

Cue Clarissa's mood shift to a completely disparate disposition!

"They do deserve it, though. Most of them are unashamed of their crimes against the divine forces and one other."

He moves a bit closer to her.
"How do you survive? If I was like you all the time...I'd think I'd kill myself." he sAid as he looked her back in the eyes. His eyes show that he's on the verge of a irreversible psychotic breakdown.
Depending on what Clarissa says next will change him as a person.

Stunning! This house is very...interesting!

"Wow! How much cash have you invested in this place so far?"

"Objectively, a lot. As a percentage of how much I have? Hardly anything. If you don't touch your bank account for four thousand years, you get a lot of interest."

Talnissa smiles happily at the compliment, and continues the tracing, leaning into Kara.

"You are too, love."

Kara closes her eyes, the better to drink in the unfamilar but so pleasant sensations coming from Talnissa's touch, sighing and leaning into her.

Talnissa continues the tracing with one hand, and moves to try to slip Kara's skirt (I think that's what she was wearing, anyway... ) off with the other.

Oh! Poor, poor Dave! Clarissa wasn't trying to...

"I did try to kill myself once..."

"But I don't do that anymore. I realized that I do more good being here than I do evil, actually. Destruction is just another part of life, a catalyst of change and rebirth. Consider a forest full of trees. It weathers a great conflagration. Was the blaze necessarily bad? Heck no! Without the fire, rotting vegetation would cover the forest floor. Ashes restore nutrients to the soil from which new trees sprout. If no fire were ever to sweep the forest clean, it would throw off the balance of nature."

"You know that I'm a rare breed, half angel and half demon. What you probably don't know is that I'm the one who escorted people to their respective afterlives. I don't do that anymore. Now I take the lives of those who have been marked. Population control, you could call it. I also sin to test people...sort of. I evaluate and antagonize. I am the balance and the scale. What this world is devoid of, I provide. Sometimes I'll be evil. Sometimes I'll be good. Sometimes I'll hurt people. Sometimes I'll save them. Sometimes I excel. Sometimes I fail."

"Everyone has a purpose. I serve mine. You serve your's. Your's isn't finished yet. I'm no soothsayer, but I can assure you of that much."

Clarissa then attempts to hug Dave because Dave looks like he could use a hug right about now.

"Why did you design your house as such? I get the feeling that it is somehow related to your story."

Spec asks. Inquisitive little assassin teen. She's just got to question everything, doesn't she?

Indeed, she was.
...emphasis on "was", now.
Kara blushes deeply, smiling at her girlfriend, as a curtain lurks in her apartment.

"I-I-I..."
He began crying as he hugged her tightly.
You're right..." he said as he cried into her shirt, "Clarissa...why do you even like me? I'm nothing like you, yet you stay with me...why?"
Oh great, the relationship talk.

"Hey."

Clarissa softly coos as she moves to attempt to tilt Dave's chin upwards and dry his tears with the fabric of the lower half of her shirt.

"You're a really cool guy, Dave. You took good care of me. You showed me compassion and understanding. You're able to put up with me, and that's more than I can say of most people. You're a kind and caring person with a good soul. You remind me of my father, actually."

"Sometimes you really mess everything up, Dave, but I still love you. You. Not your body or your power. You."

Clarissa attempts to sum up her brief speech by beeping Dave on the nose! This beeping basically consists of her attempting to poke Dave's nose while saying,

"Beep!"

and smiling happily!

Trium stares off into the 'distance' for a while, and, when she speaks, her voice is soft and sad.

"It's designed after part of a world I lived on, and how I got there... I stored a lot of memories there, tied to the patterns of life and death. It's dead now, though. The forests turned to ash, cities melted down into craters, atmosphere poisoned... And even in the places that the air is breathable, you'd die of radiation poisoning."

Talnissa smiles, and moves to tracing the strange pattern, which she still hasn't completed, all over Kara, rather than just on her back, leaning in for a kiss as she does.

If that's successful, she'll try to pull the curtain that's lurking about.

Kara, needless to say, is utterly fascinated. Doesn't resist the pattern-tracing. Starts trying to trace a pattern with her own fingertips, mimicing Talnissa's movements.

And helps to pull the curtain!

Talnissa shivers happily at Kara's tracing. Whether or not she's able to replicate the pattern depends on her ability to mirror and replicate complex forms, but the robot isn't doing anything that's impossible for a human.

When the curtain rises, Talnissa might be snuggled up to Kara, holding her close, and looking very happy.
