Re: Feytalist's Fantastically Freakish First Random Banter #171
Those are not games, those are shovelware. If you ignore those, pretty much everything on the Wii is great except for a few things, like Sonic and Mario at the Olympics, and realy that's not a BAD game, just ridiculous.

Ha! I already finished my Coke! Failed assassinati-*is leapt on by an Elite and stabbed in the face with an energy sword*.
I just wish more Wii games let you use a Gamecube controller. The classic oen is really clumsy, motion controls feel too gimicky, and the Wiimote held sideways is just... why?Last edited by Mutant Sheep; 2011-11-19 at 06:09 PM.

1: That's a fine game.
2: You brought it up first with Mario.
@LaZ: You were suppose to take it ... Not slip it to MS. But I guess that works.

Re: Feytalist's Fantastically Freakish First Random Banter #171
At least it actually requires snow for that to happen to you...there was a memorable occasion a few years back where trains in the UK were being cancelled left, right and centre due to "leaves on the line". This was in Autumn, which is obviously the last time of year you'd expect trees to be losing leaves all over your nice shiny railway tracks...

Re: Feytalist's Fantastically Freakish First Random Banter #171
I suddenly don't understand a thing...
While I admit that I can leave rather silly creations in my wake when tasked with being creative, I still wouldn't say that silly is a good word to describe my overall personality. I'm far too serious (albeit tongue-in-cheek) and sarcastic to earn such a title.
And that word. Wut?Clouddreamer Teddy by me, high above the world, far beyond its matters...

A potent relic of the past. 'Tis said the wearer commands the wisdom of kings, and can see the unseeable.
Like the grue lurking in your bedroom waiting for you to fall asleep.
But perhaps some things are better left unseen...

I guess that was his way of paying penance for lying?

Re: Feytalist's Fantastically Freakish First Random Banter #171
Bah, I wouldn't use an energy sword. Two unwieldly. I'd use something more...refined *beam katana*
The sideways way is meant to emulate the NES controller. Also, you have to admit, in some games (mostly shooters) the motion control is great. A good example would be, say, Sin and Punishment 2.

Yay, just explained Plato's Theory of Forms to someone, up to the point where other people started having to explain, because we were getting to talk about stuff that I didn't understand either!

Re: Feytalist's Fantastically Freakish First Random Banter #171
I had a friend who would answer the phone thusly.
"Hello, Toronto City Morgue, you stab'em, we slab'em, how may I help you?"
It was the best thing.

I'd say I was Lex Luthor, if he gets the joke, call him a nerd and then go play Starcraft.

Twilight Princess would like a word with you. As would Okami. I expect Metroid Prime: Corruption would, as well. And hopefully Skyward Sword, though I haven't got to play that yet. My housemate bought it today though, so I'm totally going to steal it. *is excited*

Re: Feytalist's Fantastically Freakish First Random Banter #171
Well, she only answers like that if it's me, or another friend who she knows REALLY REALLY WELL who appreciates that kind of humour.
... that's a lie once, she once answered the phone like that for a complete stranger, and he played along. "Hey, I have a body here, can you come and pick it up?" "No, sorry, we don't do pick-up, only drop-off." "Oh, ok. When are you open?" "We're open from 10 AM to 3 PM, and from 7PM to 12 PM" "Alright, I'll be over tomorrow."
Then they hung up.
And then 5 minutes later my friend realized she had no clue who that was, or what they really called for.
