"I don't deny that. After all I don't think that vigilantism is the right way to solve a problem. Also I didn't know anything about him at that moment. From my point of view you where going to kill an innocient man in a wheelchair."

Andy seems to be relaxing, but in his mind he is working like hell. How high is there temper? Would Carolin try to kill him right now. is Vincent going to start bersserk mode? What kind of defense should I go for. Would they be able to follow me through a wall...

Caroline shrugs. It's not your fault. Dr. WhatsHisName was a convincing liar. She reaches out for Vincent's hand. Vincent probably was too angry to say the right lines.

Vidalia stands when she sees Marty. So?

Marty walks out of the infirmary to the point where he can see Vidalia, He tells her quietly, There....I'm f-fine....I have t-t-to go back in about a d-day.....

Good. And you better come back. Or I'll find you. she says, threateningly. She's not the nicest of GLoG members. Marty should be happy she's trying to help him. Of course, he likely doesn't realize how lucky he is.

Marty sighs a little. His stutter is kinda cute. W-well....Vidalia...I...they will f-fix my f-foot...But...I'm supposed to st-stay off of it I'm guessing....So....I'm going to head back to the beach....But...I'm not s-sure where I l-left my st-stuff... Marty walks to the point where he can talk to her without having to talk too loudly. He never was a loud person. Even when he was mostly sane. He didn't really like noise. ((Marty is actually rather afraid of Vidalia...mean onion lady might get mad at him....that's the whole reason he even came here. Because he was somewhat afraid of disobeying....))

((I have heard that pike can be quite muddy, though that might be why it's being soaked? I know nothing about cooking.))

Myrim watches intently as it's soaked. That makes sense to her; pike are nicer when they've been washed. The cutting up part does, too; that helps with sharing. Putting it in a frying pan? No, that makes no sense at all. Though until it starts frying she won't comment. Marsh Goblins are an amphibious species, and their homes have few places where anything can be kept to stay dry. This means they don't use fire, though they are perfectly capable of eating cooked food as well as raw. Myrim, however, has never had cooked fish- when she was with her clan, she ate them raw. When she was a slave, she was fed meat, usually mammal, and that was cooked alongside vegetables. Now she's at GLoG, she has a burrow in the lake and eats her fish raw again.

Marty walks there. He's following Vidalia wherever she goes. He doesn't quite know the way. He doesn't really talk much but eventually pipes up, Um....I know th-that this might b-be rude...but....Are you human? I've seen some odd people around and just w-wondered....I don't mean t-to offend...

Marley has his cane hop over to the spice cupboard, and get a spice jar for him. He sprinkles the spice on the cooking fish. Then, judging that the time is right, he puts the fish pieces on a plate, with a piece of thyme by it.

"There. Just let it cool just a little bit, and enjoy."

"Why do all that, when it's good to eat when it's caught?" Myrim sounds curious, though she's doing her best to be polite.

"Because this way they can taste better. Here, have a bite."

Marley holds out a fork to Myrim

Myrim takes one of the pike bits and eats it. Her teeth are pointed, and point backwards slightly; they're adapted to catch fish. Her ears quiver slightly. "I suppose, but... I can't taste the fish." That's simply because she's never had spices before and her palate isn't used to them; it's nothing Marley has done wrong.

Woods

Natalie's here, swinging towards GLoG from tree to tree. She's in the shape of a black-furred spider monkey, wearing a tartan skirt that stops above the knee and a blue t-shirt, and there's a red rucksack slung over her back.

"Hmm."

Marley gets a fork and takes a bit himself.

"I can taste it just fine myself. Have you had cooked spiced food before?"

"No. My family always ate fish as they were caught, and... After I ate very little but cooked mammal-flesh and occasional vegetables. I don't really like vegetables." The 'after' is referring to the time an elf noblewoman kept her as a pet.

"I see. Well, hopefully you can still get what you like."

Marley smiles, and helps himself to more fish.

A small crowd of children hurries through the main entrance of GLoG, emerging from the forest with haggard, blank expressions. A few look like they're crying, but the group's so dehydrated that no tears come out. The kids look as though they've been in the woods for days. Greasy-haired and bleary-eyed, they approach the main cabin with desperate haste.

As she pouts a little bit.

"That's great! Um, are any other garden, um, plants? intelligent?" the Magical Girl asks.

Previously, before walking away with Marty ((which Jamie is free to follow along with, of course.)).

Vidalia shrugs. Not that I've ever seen. But that just means they don't talk to me.

"That shouldn't be too hard. There's lots of fish in the lake- more than enough for me to survive on." Myrim smiles. She won't try any more, though; she'd prefer it raw and without the spices- they just ruined it for her, unfortunately.

Myrim doesn't notice the swarm of children yet, but only as I don't think they're making any noise and she's not looking out of a relevant window.

Marty wasn't very fast due to his leg. He would have ran right there...back to his cabin and hidden away...He couldn't trust anyone. This woman...what did she wasn't from him? What did he have that she wanted? She was going to kill him...or leave him....crush him again...No. She never did anything to him. She was pretty....somewhat kind...albeit scary, and she was helping him...though that caress definitely causes him to tense. Her hand might brush across the scar running along his cheek. The scars are in the same place per cheek...Sleet made sure to make them match....His skin is warm and soft beyond the damaged and scarred area. He looks up at her with his blue eyes. His response is completely slurred as thought cascade inside his mind...memories, bad and worse...but some were good. I...I ju....It...duh....um...

Marty regains some thought. Eep...he was being stupid. Why would it matter? I....you....I have a rather mixed....f-f-family tree m-myself....I don't....why ask? He was very curious. His hands hang by his sides....they're tensed. He doesn't know what to do. He considers holding her...her slim pretty waist....His fingers twitch a little before he jams his hands in his pockets. Honestly, he didn't know what to do...or what she was planning to do....he takes his hands out again and considers holding her again...embracing her...and then he brushes the thought away. He was being stupid...yet the thought hangs there in his conscience.

The person at the head of the group - a young girl, no older than fourteen - looks up at the two exalted. She's carrying a smaller child against her shoulder, who seems to be sleeping rather soundly.

"I-is this GLoG?" She asks, skittish and wary.

Zamira crouches down so she's at the same level as the girl, her ears flat against her head. "Yes, it is."

The girl tries to swallow, but can find enough saliva to do so. It's a pathetic sound that comes out.

"So you'll help us?" She asks raspily. "We couldn't find water anywhere." A few of the other children - the younger ones, mostly - gather around, studying the two women.

Zamira looks at Shrike. "Can you look after them while I get some water?"
