The hole carved in the wall by Spec's massive sword is too slim for Michi and Trisha to get through even if they could use the Hatred to pass through the barrier of shadows beyond. Trisha can tell this with her own prodding tendrils, and if she has any way of widening the hole then perhaps they might get free.

However, rather than be repelled by the Hatred, Eris' power seems to be attracted by it. Though the shadows don't try to touch the people inside the egg, but caress and wrap around the egg like a warm, comforting embrace.

"...I don't think it's working. Maybe we should try another way out?" Michi whispers to Trisha, shivering slightly as the dark tendrils seem to swirl around them.

[Halloween Night - Vents]

Kirk doesn't much like the idea of going where a dragon wants to herd him, but at the same time he likes staying in this darkness even less. The drow grabs hold of the vent and lets go of Dena to climb in. Hopefully this will get them out somewhere.

Dena figures the dragon wants out too, but she isn't sure why it's trying to get them out first. Perhaps for food once they're trapped in the vents? In either case, she was pretty sure she could deal with a dragon in such a enclosed space and she wasn't going to give up her only exit this easily.

So she climbs on after the other two people that she had no idea who they were, they looked like guests to her. Awfully loud screaming guests. >.<

At least she had her daggers with her, while they couldn't protect her from the tendrils they could probably hurt the dragon and the guests too if was needed.

Vinny growls and takes a step back from the flames when they rush towards him, and even though his beard and hair gets singed, he steps back to where he was, wielding the cigar-stiletto in one hand. "Elaine, run." He orders her, breaking through the Viking persona. He'd promised her that he'd keep her safe, and he was going to make sure she was one way or another.

When the two drow come into the vent, he gives them a hard glare before shaking his head. "Not until the lady leaves."

Trisha frowns a bit at the caressing feeling and suppresses a shudder. "I..I think it'll let us pass if we just make the hole wider. Think we should risk it?" She asks.

"Trisha, I don't know anything about magic, but now that we've gone through all this I'd feel it a waste if we didn't at least try. I believe in you Trisha, you can do this." She squeezes her hand a bit, hoping for the best. She had gotten used to the feeling of being useless, but at least she could be of moral support.

The naga begins to stir, her tail twitching and her nostrils flaring as she starts to recover from the stun gun slowly but surely. She's not quite awake, but those vital signs the dragon familiar detected are growing stronger with every second.

Boss, red alert!
Jace gets a few blast-y spells ready, standing a decent distance away.

"I'll show you whose a ******* lady if you don't move now you bleeding idiot. You're going to get us all killed!" Dena exclaims, already ready to reach for something in her cloaks pockets in case this white knight dude didn't get his act together.

Ezreal sight's. This Jacen guy seems to think he couldn't handle an enemy as well or at least Jacen may be to smug to realize it. Well, Ezreal shakes these thoughts away, there is more important stuff to do.

He tries to grab the woman with his free left hand and, if she doesn't seem to walk herself, he tries to throw her over his shoulder. He is strong enougth since this arm is his mechanical one.

"Ain't movin' until she's gone fer sure." Vinny growls, shifting his left foot back to get better stability in case the two decided to try something. "Then we's gonna go nice and slow. Try sumpin' and you will regret it."

Still wrapped in shadows, Trisha leans over to her lover and gives her a soft kiss, just in case, before reaching towards the hole to grab it's edges. Once she gets a grip, she'll pull with all her strength, trying to widen the hole to get big enough for them to walk or crawl through.

"So lemme get this straight, everything you've done tonight, all of this personality overriding and the setup for the party itself, is and was just because you're bored and have nothing more fun to do? Lady, you are insane."

And insanely beautiful. Drop-dead gorgeous. A knockout. A tall, cool glass of water. A wicked, bewitching angel. And she's pouting or close to pouting. That's a mighty powerful arsenal she's flaunting on the table.

Luckily, Spec has a girlfriend and an ungodly willpower stat! Well, she had an ungodly willpower stat, but she was so focused on trying not to show any signs of fear or nervousness that she didn't even notice the ice prism protecting her slowly melting and sliding off of her light source until it was too late...

Y'know, maybe she misinterpreted this whole ordeal. Maybe she didn't, but she simply must find a way to slap a beatific smile onto Eris that matches her truly divine body. So what if a few people burn for it?

Spec bites her lip, drawing blood as she fights to resist her anime self with all of her willpower. Space Princess Ezzah Chrinthos conquers her within half a minute and whispers to Eris conspiratorially in the next, perhaps leaning far closer to her than is strictly necessary as she licks her own bloody lower lip and shamelessly ogles the goddess.

"Fine, fine! I'll help you out, lady! To be frank, I was gettin' pretty bored with this snooze-fest as well. And I'll offer you a word of advice in exchange for a kiss. I'll even spare your life after you put up your dukes later tonight."

"Those morons outside are running away because you haven't given them a good reason to stay and fight. You've tossed something their way that has 'em spooked and so they're taking flight, unlike stunning warriors like you or me."

"What you've gotta do, sweetie, is push their buttons. You mentioned loved ones, so kidnap the weak lovers in relationships with the strong lovers and let them know that you'll mail them their lover in pieces if they don't play our game by our rules. Have them attack those who have no loved ones to kidnap. Drop a doppelganger or two into the mix to make blockheads with lots of friends attack other blockheads with lots of friends. Bake in an enclosed space for five minutes and bada bing bada boom, you've got yourself a satisfying plate of complete anarchy."

Kate looks at the letters and watches the creeping drop of blood.

"Well... it appears to be that our only choice is to see where the road goes."

Ormirrah frowns. She's worried. Very worried. But she's not letting it show, not in front of Kate, or at least trying not to; the observant will pick it up, "Right. Let's go see what Eris has to say about this."

I imagine they walk... towards wherever Eris is? Where is that, anyways?

The Office

Eris laughs right in Spec's pretty little face, "Oh you are just a treat, did you know that? Since you're not quite yourself and probably won't remember any of this, let me give you a big fat scoop my little minx. Other gods may have the realms of fear, anger, death, destruction, and shadow under their thumbs, but I get the results of all their effort all to myself. Chaos, entropy, the slow fraying of minds and bodies by the obtuse and unexpected, all of it fuels and powers me without a single lick of worship needed. It doesn't matter if my plans succeed or fail, I win, every time. And everyone is a target. Even me. So, my expectations not being met? My surprise at being thwarted by how boring everyone is only makes me stronger for the next time. It doesn't matter, it never does, because entropy will always perpetuate itself." Leaning in just a bit further, Eris licks her painted red lips and attempts to give Spec her kiss just as Ormirrah and Kate burst through the door, smiling cattily between their locked lips for a moment before parting.

"Alright, you've convinced me, you're all free to go." She snaps her fingers and throughout the casino, the shadows recede as the lights flicker back on. All the vanished doors and windows reappear, and the massive black swirling void that separated the casino from the rest of the Nexus clears in the span between blinks.

"Might want to take a nap to wash away those personalities you're burdened with. That should put you to rights again, or not. Who knows? Certainly not me."

Halloween Night - Lobby

Gertrude you really shouldn't wake up sleeping monsters. Sleeping monsters are fine, awake hungry monsters aren't so good. Normally Kayla would stay calm headed and maybe even be helpful here. Not now though, instead she will try to clutch to Gertude's non-fishy arm and try and pull her away from the monster looking terrified.

"What is that? We need to get away from it."

Halloween Night- Lobby Cave

"Don't worry, I'm sure I can defeat this Sableye. Shuckle, use Rock Throw." The Shuckle nods and ducks its head into its rock-like shell before a boulder comes flying out of said rock-like shell, aimed at the Sableye's head. Gertrude doesn't really know much about Pokemon, but she does know that May is a trainer and is behaving as she thinks trainers behave- unafraid of pokemon, willing to do most anything to complete a pokedex except threaten the lives of any pokemon.

Halloween Night - Lobby

The pokemon, and the cave they stand in, dissolves back into a well lit casino lobby with some halloween decorations thrown up and a few headless gremlin skeletons littering the floor here and there next to crudely carved jack-o-lanterns, over-ripe and rotting as their candles gutter out one by one. The front doors are open, and Shuckle's rock throw sails off and then puts out a window across the room.

Elaine gets free and clear, to find that the vent opens out to a fire escape on the outside wall of the casino, probably so it can be maintained easily. Down below in an alley she can probably see Elias and Hekta, if she's inclined to look.

Meanwhile, back in the vents, Kashi pokes his head up behind Kirk to see what's keeping them so long. Clearly, they need some motivation to get moving.

So, being the expert pirate and motivator he is, Kashi opens his jaws a bit and goes straight for the booty! Dena's booty that is, with a bit of a nip to remind her she's supposed to be a crew-member now and follow the captain's orders.

Trisha manages to widen the hole slightly as things go back to normal in the casino. With a bit more of her superhuman effort she could probably continue to pull it apart and escape that way, or she could just go through the open front doors.

Hekta nods, "Okay, just lay still here." She says somewhat unnecessarily and goes to look for something to help Elias leg with. It doesn't take long for her to return with what appears to be a broom, matching her witch costume.

"So where should I tie it down?" We can probably skip a bit as Hekta is working on Elias leg, tying the broom handle to his leg with scraps of her clothes that she have no calms about tearing off.

Elaine climbs down the fire escape, to see the injured boy and the girl helping him. "Oh no, how badly are you hurt, child?"

Elias simply moans, nearly delirious with pain.

That, Jace says, trying to look nonchalant, is probably due to the massive amount of chaotic magic flying about in here for the past few hours. I would highly suggest that you go home before anything weirder happens.

Kate turns to Ormirrah "It seems that we have been spared a meeting by our predecessor. I suggest that we take this chance and simply leave. Perhaps at a later point in time, we can meet properly and who we really are can meet."

Hekta turns around in surprise, her first reaction to bare her sharp teeth at the invader. But as she see the woman she realizes that she probably did need help now if she was going to be able to carry Elias home.

So the demon quickly changes tactic and purses her lips, nodding in the direction of the fire escape. "He fell down the ladder, can you help me carry him home?" She says, trying to look as innocent as possible.

"I'm not strong enough for that," (Billie is...) "but I have a friend who is. He should be right behind me," Elaine says, and looks up the fire escape, worried that Vincent is fighting a dragon right now.

"Wait!" Crissy cries, wavering, shivering and trying to think. Trying to think. Trying to...

"D...Dorota. We need to f-find Dorota!" she stammers after a moment, looking around in a panic.

"What friend?" Hekta asks, suddenly sounding suspicions, placing herself protectively between Elias and Elaine.

"Wait... I think it's over Trisha." Michicora says as she can see the darkness retreating around them.

Air Vents

Dena mentally groans when the idiot in front of them refused to move. There was a freaking dragon behind them and he wanted his pretty little lady to crawl out first?

"Don't bother killing him Kirk, judging by his size of his ass he'll clog the vents as surely as the fat is clogging his arteries." And speaking of rear ends...

"Ahhh!!! The dragon bit me! Move! Move!" Unless Vinny decides to move, Kirk will probably be forcibly pushed into him.

"First we need to get you away from the Naga."

Ezreal tries to drag her away from the Naga and if that works leads her away from the waking up threat.

Ormirrah looks in at Eris for a moment before turning towards Kate and nodding, "Best beat a hasty withdrawal then. It was good to meet you." And now she's already moving towards the door!

The Office to The Main Area and maybe Leaving

Kate will turn to go, but will make sure that she goes to get Mintbalm. "come along, little spider. We have been given clearance to leave and return to ourselves, theoretically by way of a nap. If that doesn't work, I think that a bit of dust will." If Mintbalm comes along and Ormirrah doesn't want to say more, Kate will straight up leave.

Yeah, Ormirrah isn't about to say anything. The further she an get from the deity of chaos and entropy she can, the happier she'll be.

Of course, saying that is just tempting fate, isn't it? Regardless, the goth-dressed half-dragon is well on her what to the door.

Leaving

"That simple huh? That's good, I could do with a nap right now, everything's so... boring." Mintbalm's mouth twists into a faint grimace at her inflicted personality's aloof boredom with what would otherwise have been a very interesting night. This really was a stinker for her in general, getting stuck with grigdom and not really participating in anything other than some kiddie trick or treating.

But she'll follow Kate and Ormirrah out, not even bothering to ask who the dragongoth is since her interest in other people doesn't extend that far.

Meanwhile, before Ormirrah's eyes a faint apparition manifests, invisible to everyone but her. A glowing golden nude avatar of Eris smirks at Orrmirah and ducks towards her, aiming to plant an ephemeral kiss on her painted lips before dissolving. Should the kiss land, Ormirrah might feel a quick tingle in her scales and hear a voice in her ear quickly fade away.

I heard that hopeful narration dumpling. You may not have tempted fate, but you tempted me.

Ormirrah probably won't notice it right away, but if Eris' parting gift takes effect her costume will fit her perfectly as her body shifts to accommodate any places where it would have been ill-fitting before. If her corset was laced just a bit too tightly, or her boots a bit too small or large, her waist should shrink and her feet should adjust to match the size.

[Leaving]

Ormirrah is too surprised to avoid the kiss! and then, suddenly, her waist shrinks and her rear grows just a smidgen rounder. Oh damn!

And now she's outright running for the door, hoping that Eris is satisfied with whatever that was.

[Lobby]

"Let's get out of here." Kayla says tugging on Gertrude's arm trying to pull them towards the open door, carefully avoiding any gremlin bodies.

Gertrude's arm is scaly and cold, and slightly slimy. Fortunately, Kayla went too high above the maw for the pike to bite.

As she is pulled away, she presses the button on a pokeball at Shuckle. "Come back, Shuckle, we need gone!"

[Hattish Thing]

Door

Captain Clegg moves to the door. He figures a night gambling with "recovered" ancient gold would make for fine entertainment. He walks with a crutch that used to be composed of sleek ebony wood. Now, there's a piece chipped off, the handle is slightly dented, and the crutch has odd brownish, rust-colored stains. He wears a long navy and gold coat, now ripped up at the bottom, several bullet holes in the back of the long coat. He wears his wide-brimmed, ripped hat. He has a brown-grey messy beard, that matches his long grey hair. His left leg is wooden, and clunks as he walks. He wears ripped up gloves, and black trousers. He has some kind of leather armor underneath the coat. He takes yet another swig from the hip flask at his belt before moving over to the door.

He knocks with a fist and looks about. The man smells of alcohol, gunpowder, and...oddly enough a corpse. His eyes flash around with evident paranoia, and hidden in his coat are about ten different pistols and one rifle, hidden in his boot are two magical knives, and up his sleeve is a special gun, strapped to his arm, covered by the coat cuff. Hallo! Anybody 'ere? He knocks at the door.

Trisha drops her shadows as well to take a look around and feels the influence on her mind depart. "I guess it is." She says quietly before visibly relaxing and trying to lead her girlfriend out of the casino.

Vents

After Dena shouts about the dragon biting her, Vinny growls at himself and turns around to go the way Elaine went, hoping she's had enough time to get away fully.

Bloody finally. Kirk was starting to think he'd have to kill the oaf and shove his corpse out. He impatiently follows behind him, because there's little doubt he could move faster than the larger man in this tight space.

Once they do make it outside, the drow nimbly climbs down, only looking back to make sure Dena's managing fine.

Door - After Halloween

The casino is empty and abandoned, just like it was before Eris co-opted it for her party. Unless Magtok himself wants to telewarp in and greet Clegg then it's very unlikely he'll be doing any gambling here.

A tumbleweed made of halloween decorations blows out the door when he opens it, attesting to just how sloppily the place has been kept. It doesn't even look like Eris bothered to clean up after all her guests left.

Vents

Kashi lets go of Dena's butt so she can scurry on ahead, having only bitten lightly so he wouldn't break the flesh. Never let it be said that a dragon captain is one for capital punishment

Slot Machines

The naga just groans more, "Well, I'm never taking shady jobs from maniacal goddesses again, no matter how good the pay looksss." And she slithers off towards the door, swaying drunkenly.

Vents

Dena crawls as fast as she can, quickly realizing now that she isn't panicking anymore that the dragon probably could have done a lot worse. None the less, she was very glad to see the outside again. Once she's out, she gracefully get's out and turns to look back into the vent in case that dragon decided to follow them. "We'd better get back to NO. I really want to get out of this blasted dress now." Parts of it seem to have got stuck in the vents after all, revealing some of her concealed daggers.

Michicora saunters after Trisha, still looking around nervously. She hadn't been prepared for that at all. This was supposed to have been a fun social event but it had all turned to chaos. She reaches out and attempts to take her hand and give her a concerned look. "Are you alright? You were so... angry." Sometimes Trisha's anger really scared her.
