Wreck Ashore
To all appearances, it is another typical day in Seawell. Merchants hock their wares on every street corner, drunken sailors stumble between taverns and brothels, and on the outskirts of town the militia watched for approaching lizardfolk. There was a battle yesterday that left eight dead, but today looks to be quiet so far. Too quiet - the three ships that were expected from the east still have not arrived. People discuss the issue calmly; to them, it's someone else's problem.
Avaariel:
SpoilerYou are walking the bustling streets of Seawell when you feel a tap on your shoulder. You turn around and see a grinning half-orc rubbing his fist into his palm. "What's a pretty little elf like you doing in a town like this? Dangerous place. Wouldn't want anything to happen to you."
Fenril:
SpoilerYou are walking the bustling streets of Seawell. Nothing appears to be particularly out of the ordinary. The strangest sight you see is a half-orc talking to an elf - an odd sight in a human town. The above post made a lot more sense in my head.

Re: Wreck Ashore
Avaariel
Walking along the streets, a large half orc taps her on her shoulder and utters a meager little threat. Spinning with the touch and taking two steps backwards Avaariel pulls her elven made longsword from its sheath on her back.
With all the grandiose self importance she can muster from her elven heritage, she coldly annunciates through clenched teetch, "Touch me with that hand again and I will char it to the elbow." Avaariel opens her left palm, it fills with a ball of living lighting with a few words in her mother tongue.

Re: Wreck Ashore
Initially planning to investigate the missing ships on the grounds that the militia have the lizardfolk problem handled, Fenril is sidetracked when an elf and a half-orc seem about to have a fight right there in the streets. What seems to be the problem? he asks as politely as possible even as he raises an arm to the handle protruding over his shoulder.
SpoilerReady action to draw greatsword.
I need to think up a name for my sword.

Re: Wreck Ashore
"Buzz off, twerp." The orc pulls his fist out of his palm to reveal that he's wearing a set of brass knuckles on one hand. "And you, you think a little lightning is going to scare me? I think you both need to learn some manners." The orc swings at Avaariel's face, prompting her to launch the lightning at him. Behind him, Jallorn draws his greatsword.

Re: Wreck Ashore
Rather disappointed in her performance in dealing with a petty thug, she begrudgingly looks to the man, "Th...thank you.". The words are almost acidic but sound of honey, relying on other's is not Avaariel's strong suit.

Re: Wreck Ashore
Before the half-orc has hit the ground, Fenril's sword has returned to it's sheath, and he's lowering himself to the ground beside the thug. Using the thug's own clothes, he begins to bind the wounds in an effort to stabilize him.

Re: Wreck Ashore
Just as Fenril has decided that the orc is stable, two men wearing the armor of a town guardsman run up. "I see Carpil's up to his old tricks. Terribly sorry we weren't there. At least nobody but him got hurt." He looks the two of you up and down. "I'm going to need the two of you to come with me. My friend here will take care of Carpil."

I fear we may have used somewhat unnecesary force, but it seemed prudent to bring him down quickly. Are we being charged with anything?

"Then I shall acquiesce to your request." Avaariel moves lightly in the mans direction after cleaning and returning her weapon. She throws one further vile glance at the unconscious half orc.

Please indulge me, but I believe proper introductions are in order. Fenril makes a little bow to Avaariel as he says, I am Sir Fenril Sunborn, son of Lord Artak Sunborn and Knight Errant.

Re: Wreck Ashore
The guardsman leads you on a winding path through the streets, eventually ending up at a run-down but official-looking building. "Wait here." He enters the building, then returns about two minutes later. "The mayor will see you now."
