By the way, sorry, but I'm not going to participate in the Skype voice group. I have an intense dislike of speaking through devices, and English not being my first language, I still have have a bad French accent and a tendency not to understand everything I hear right away. I'm not going to make you all repeat yourselves slowly just so I can participate.
But seriously, I hate phones and similar devices with a passion. That's the most important point.

... I might be able to use my 360 headset, though. I'll have to see if it works with my controller, though. I should be able to use it with Xpadder (a neat program that lets you use USB controllers as input devices), but it may not work without a chatpad... Here's hoping. :shysmile:

No idea on the headset, but the Xbox 360 controllers already work on Windows with native Microsoft drivers.

Hate, in the past, was useful to human development. A them and us mentality helped us formal social group and xenophobia and hate helped keep us togther and safe.

But fast forward a couple of thousand years and hate has become less useful. The world is a smaller place. We aren't all trying to kill each other (at least as much as we use too) and xenophobia and hate aren't do us much good. Way I see it, we now have a way to rise above our ancestors, become a level, socially and mentally, above our forebears by embracing love, acceptance and tolerance, while renouncing hate.

Be an above human, not just a human.

I'm pretty sure it's not just the troll that's the problem with people throwing their physical addresses around all willy-nilly like a bunch of rubes.

Right... I actually meant to say that Xpadder lets you control what your controller does by mapping buttons to keyboard/mouse functions. Now that I think about it, though, I should actually be able to hook it up directly... I'm going to drink this cup of milk first. -.-

No, interestingly enough, there aren't. It's not that cameras can't capture our image, it's more that our field of inherent magic twists probability around us, so no one ever quite manages to get a decent photo.

That's probably what I'm going to do for a while...

I got the headset to work, but it has some kind of weird distortion that sounds kinda like a microwave running next to a fan... With some unsettlingly voice-like noises I'm going to assume are coming from the television. @_@

I also made myself a bit shy-er again... Testing it revealed that I can get my voice to be somewhat higher-pitched, but it hasn't really changed aside from that. :<

It's just too difficult for most people. It's a major temptation that nearly makes me commit to the figure skating offer of my primary female best friend/metaphorical sister along with a reason I might choose to start ballet or yoga.

Again it's just difficult. That's why I envy male contortionists, they can have a threesome with only one other person and still be fairly comfortable.

It's hardly fair to judge a group based on the few weirdo extremists. I'm a transhumanist and I think all that machine god singularity blah blah is nothing less then an odd cult.

To those of us that are a little bit more relaxed about it, it's nothing more then becoming better (faster, stronger, smarter, longer lived, disease free and whatnot) then what our bodies limit us to. I mean we already do it to an extend by fixing something that's gone wrong (glasses, hearing aides, pacemakers and more).

I have a fairly deep voice so I could talk in the background to make all your voices sound higher by comparison.
