It's been the shot in the arm the Avatar Theme Weeks have needed, I think.

This expression is silly. First I thought you meant shot with a gun, which I don't think anyone need, or not anyone good at least. Then I realised that you meant a syringe, but if the choice stands between those two, I think I'll take the gun (trypanophobia).

Wouldn't an overly cheerful song be the better choice?
I know one, but people would object due to the brightly coloured equine who sings it.
Though, I know of a version where her voice is more subdued.

If that's a viable choice, then definitely. Unless it's about syringes. Not even brightly coloured equines can take away the horrible from syringes in my eyes.

I think I'll be switching back pretty early in the morning on the twenty-second, if not at midnight on the twenty-first. Not that there's anything wrong with my Savannahtar, which is wonderful, but the person who made my normal avatar is having some RL issues, and it seems appropriate to use what they made for me while they're dealing them.

I've noticed, I just haven't said anything because I've always got a sword or hammer of some sort in my jacket pocket, so I'll be safe. I also learned a LOT about hot tubs while watching The Hot Tub Time Machine. I can assume that since you're a gazebo with a hot tub, the hot tub is important to some of your inner workings.

Therefor, your greatest weapon is also your greatest weakness. It's like you're using your heart to attack us.

Okay, from over sixty avatars presented, I managed a shortlist of nineteen.
Give me a moment to narrow that down further.

After much trial and tribulation, interviews with the world's best art critics and consultation with the ancient texts; I realised I was trying to hard and threw all that out of the window.
Instead, I just kept shortening my short list until I was left with the three I liked best:
