Remember - Zii, who she stalks, and whose home she broke into, and whose bed she hijacked, and who ex-girlfriend/current friend she has been mercilessly trying to up-one, and whose relationship she has deliberately been trying to sabotage on the grounds that she wants to have Zii and that's all there is to it?

Oh my, I'm really defending Sonya...
All of these things, while not things nice people would do, or smart or sensible or whatever, still aren't really "nasty" towards Zii.
Her behavior towards Yuki really is for the most part entirely unrelated to Zii. She doesn't hurt Zii by her attitude towards Yuki (and even if she did she'd probably be too dumb to realize it), and trying to get in Zii's pants is the essential part of... well, being an obnoxious stalker.
Still, there are much worse things a really evil/crazy person could do. She never tried to steal anything from her, hurt her, break any of her stuff out of jealousy, she never even tried to get Erik to cheat on Zii to have them break up (I think) which are all things that nasty people do in real life and fiction.

Don't get me wrong, Sonya is not a likable character at all and by quite a bit the worst in the comic I'm just saying she could be much, much worse and she while she is terribly stupid she's not worse than many mean people. (Maybe more forward in her obnoxious stalker attitude)

I like that character so far, even though it's still too shortly into the comic to have any depth to him. I wonder how SDB will turn out. I haven't really been keeping up with all the XCs though, prolly cuz the plots appear sillier and more contrived and uninteresting.

No, Belisarius, you're not- they are a cute couple, and together they have shown the most character growth in the comic. That Yuki still has feelings for Gary, and he learned almost everything he knows about girls by being with her, is a good sign that they might get back together.

Having said that.... This is the perfect time for Didi to find out from Zii that Gary is a) single, from Yuki that he is b) an orgasm machine, and from Sonya that he c) is rather disappointing in bed and needs more practice.

Net result: She reverts to her earlier plan of boinking Gary "for his own good" because she's used to the disappointment, with the promise of a swirly in return. And this time, there's no one standing in her way - even Zii has no reason to stop her, since she's busy realising how great monogamy is with Eric.

That... makes a lot of sense, actually. That would also bring us back to the idea that the first time between the "central couple" -- if, indeed, that is the author's plan -- shouldn't be disappointing.

She really should if she was home at all during any of it. They weren't exactly being quiet and all and, well, Didi would have been likely to be aware of Yuki leaving and then Sonya schtupping Gary at least even if she was out the other evening.

Given this is Ma3 and he'd have been single though and she was curious about the swirly anyway, it seems like she'd have tried something if she knew by this point in time chronologically if not this date of comic. So, again, given that this is Ma3 she probably doesn't know despite that everything suggests she has a very, very good chance of knowing.

I'm pretty much neutral on Eerie Cuties (although I used to like it) because it is becoming Magic Chicks Overflow. And I was never a fan of Magic Chicks.

OTOH, I'm enjoying Dangerously Chloe, and I'm wondering if "the twist" will be:

I don't know about that. Yuki, at least, was not only interested in seeking help so that she could actually be his girlfriend but also realized that she was being an awful girlfriend and left him (at least with the intention of waiting) until she could be better to him. That's promising, I should think.

Yuki has the benefit of being the "first girl", which in fiction tends to mean a privileged position in the relationship game. However, I agree that she is delightfully flawed, much like Gary, and they kind of complement each other's insanities. I also do like how she actually realises she has a problem, and her decision to work with it is triggered by Gary but, in the end, for her own sake, which is exactly how it should be.

On the other hand, Kiley has been the one to show Gary the greatest measure of genuine affection so far, and while I'm far from convinced such a relationship would last, she's probably the one I personally like the most.

I really couldn't decide on any of the girls... they are all flwed in some way, I guess... Some more than others. I think I'll just stay out of it and least my bad karma and favoring any one girl provokes Gary getting a worse kick to the groin than he'd otherwise.


So... Zii and DiDi are having a girls night... I'm sure that's not going to get out of hand in any way.
And... stress makes you acquire new guitar skills... or Sonya, at least. Makes sense...?
