Eh, personal take is that you should never have to justify not performing a sexual act that you aren't comfortable with. That being said, failure to meet your partner's sexual needs are definitely grounds to reevaluate your relationship.

Woot! Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I've been looking for a comic to get into that can keep me tided over in between OOTS updates, and I stumbled across MA3... Love it! I'm finally all caught up, stoked that Gary is getting some action, and putting my money on Amber for his first 'real', stable girlfriend (both Kiley and Sonja were entirely too short relationships to count, while Yuki was a needy psycho)

Well, she definitely dumped him to try and get with Zii, and is now on a 'date' with Eric, so 'ex-' is a good description. And to be fair, she can say whatever she likes but it doesn't have to be true - Sonya has always had problems with the concept of Denial, after all....

I must admit, while an intriguing idea I doubt that we're going to see too much more of Amber. She's now co-starring in another comic by the same artist and writer, called 'Sticky Dilly Buns', which you can probably find a link to on the Mà3 site.
The stories would start getting a little inbred if she were suddenly a main character in both comics.... Not to say that it definitely won't happen, of course!

She did dump him. As previously established, Sonya is dumb and apparently doesn't realize casual sex is a thing despite planning on having casual sex with Eric to break him up with Zii.

That or she figured since she'd been competing to be his girlfrand with Yuki anyway that now it was her turn?

She dumped him because she wanted to go back to Zii. But then she hit a roadblock--Eric, which is why she is trying to eliminate him (however, she's doing a pretty terrible job, obviously).

The only reason she was ever interested in Gary was because A) Zii insisted he was a great lover and B) to compete with Yuki. Yuki is out of the picture now, and she's come to realize Gary is actually fairly boring in bed.

Getting a stable relationship with a girl for longer than two weeks seems to be the aim at the moment. Gary's character has always been about gaining experience, and he's been doing so at a slow but steady pace. It's one of the more successful things about the comic.

Realizing that he needs a spine still, actually becoming competent at sex in general rather than one aspect of it, finishing his journey towards a healthy conceptualization of sexuality and having a healthy sexuality, actually having a healthy relationship, becoming his own person, growing up and becoming an adult man person, achieving professional success and stabillity/security, deciding if he wants a family, and then dying I suppose.

He may or may not need to reconcile with or destroy his parents/guardians.
