Chris is pulled inside, grinning the whole time. He then wraps an arm around both of them. "So, my beautiful loves, what were you up to before I waltzed back into your lives again?"

She nods, grinning excitedly.

"Alright."

"Want me to massage you first, or should we head out straight away?"

L'lanyaea nods, and the baelfire leaps out from her staff to twine around the man; it should, if it works, be equivalent to bathing in ice-water.

He sighs, smiling.

Chris is...a bit blindesided by this. He didn't really think that Sam wanted to have a kid, so this was news to him. "Um...you wanted to have a kid?" Chris was visibly confused by this. He quickly tries to be reassuring when he realizes that he might come across as too hesitant or negative towards this. "I mean, that's great! It's just...what does Dani think of oh what am I saying..."

Fiain grins.
Let's go now!

Chris smiles, then quickly scoops Fiain out of the water! "Very well then! Off to the beach!" He manages to grab a couple of towels, then starts heading towards the beach with Fiain still in his arms.

Samael's two swords and time magic give him enough of a edge to match the Goddess' speed. But he fights so recklessly that he's able to overcome the stalemate by taking a hit to his arm in exchange for stabbing Kyne in the gut.

L'lanyaea smiles, presumably shaking his finger, though she looks rather curious, and will likely have some questions about why it is that he's more articulate when he's cold.

"L'lanyaea Ternel," she replies, going to pull Carciza from behind herself, and slip a protective, and hopefully reassuring, arm around the daemon. "And this is Carciza. It's nice to meet you, Detritus."

Of course, she might not say that if she knew that she was not only in an enclosed space with his siege crossbow, that enclosed space happens to be a base that will start to flood very quickly if any of the outer walls are breached.

The daemon will warily shake the stone man's hand.

Chris pauses for a moment, trying to sort out in his head what exactly his feelings are on this situation. After an almost uncomfortably long pause, he finally lifts his head and looks Sam in the eyes, speaking up.

"Sam, I believe it is ultimately your choice. If you decide that you and Carrie want to have a child together, and you both agree to this, you have my blessings."

Chris then cracks a smile at that point. "We're all a family at this point, here. It's alright."

Then the smile sort of falters. "Although, now that the subject of kids has been brought up..."

Fiain is carried to LE BEACH!

And indeed, the sky is clear and beautiful. The azure night sky is light up by tiny dots of white light and huge, beautiful spheres of red, and everything in between. The sound of the waves crashing on the shore only helps create the beautiful atmosphere.

After a while, Chris finds a fairly decent alcove for the two of them to lay down and watch the stars from. After gently setting Fiain down on her feet, he lays down the towels on the ground. "Looks like the weather man was right."

Dani gasps, covering her mouth as she looks on with wide eyes!

Kyne grunts in surprise and pain, then quickly pushes Samael away. Luckily, she is able to quickly heal herself. Damn... Should've just taken your head off...

"Wow...are you OK?" she asks, unable to stay quiet any longer (but having enjoyed the show despite the ending ).

Chris looks at both Sam and Carrie. "Well...the subject of potentially having another kid did cross my mind when Callie showed up..."

"Sam, you know about Callie, right?"

Fiain sits down with him, enjoying the night sky.

Chris looks up. "Yeah, it is." Chris points to a set of stars. "Look at those. Those almost look like they form a perfect octagon."

Oh! Well in that case you want to go down...that hallway. It leads to a kitchen. You can't miss it. No food screams there. Well, except for the Yelly Jelly, but hopefully you won't need to use any of that.

He then turns back to Irene.

"Usually my souldar is going off by now, but I'm unsure at the moment."

It'll probably kick in once someone from HALO contacts Lex and helps her figure out that part a bit more.

Chris then looks towards Sam. "Oh, you'll like her. She's sweet and adorable. Kinda like Pesty, surprisingly enough."

Dani pouts, but decides to do the right thing and casts a minor healing spell on Samael. Enough to fix the immediate threat of bleeding out, but not enough that he won't limp without further healing.
"There ya go, ya big wuss," she says teasingly.

The assassin glares at Dani, then at Kyne, then back at Dani, waiting for one of them to finish healing him. Kyne finally gives up and completely fixes his leg, because she's a professional and she can cooperate with a fellow assassin. Even if he's a total jerk.
