Can also summon:
- Zombies
- Merfolk
- Drakes
- Resources of the Consortium (no longer in effect)
Can destroy your mind in the blink of an eye.
Can cancel out anything you try to summon.
Can control the minds of others, including enemy Planeswalkers.

Eh, I've fought worse. On all counts. Yes, I include your implication of the inevitability of death, pffh.*

Re: LGBTAitP Part 23: Et tu, ~Bianca?
I dont see anything wrong. Perhaps they thought "knight"=Guy so said knight "must" be a crossdresser . I liked it.
[sarcasm] Um, HELLO? Their are no female knights, they are called Paladins. D&D taught us that DUH. And boobplates are the best choice for them. Sexiness is harder then steel. [/sarcasm]
But I always hated that. Why if I want to play as a female in a mmorpg she has to be a near naked barbarian or a boob-plated warrior. Heck my assassin in skyrim had boob-spots for her leather armor!Poems!
Awesome people saying awesome things.

But in strange aeons, even Death may die.
We do not have aeons, though. So I shall pacify you another way! :3

Now that we are talking about this, that article also points out that falling in one of these pieces of "armour" would not be fun for your sternum. ._.
We are missing a potential explanation, however. It was clearly invented by Oozes attempting to sculpt themselves to resemble humans and gain access to the tea storage! Thus explaining how the American revolutionairies knew to throw it in the harbour, they had discovered that the British had sent Ogre Jelly spies to poison their drinks! :Eureka:Treasured Quotes

Careful, Asta. We don't yet know the effects on the human psyche of a twelve-armed hug. You might explode in a surge of rainbow happiness, leaving only a fine, glittering sand that upon examination turns out to be comprised of tiny unicorn figurines.
Then again, you could be volunteering for !!SCIENCE!!, in which case... I shall take notes.

I know. Dammit, don't you think I know the risks? But some chances are just too great for a man to pass up. Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!

Oops, here comes girldom again, I think!
Odd, I've found in the past that having a girlfriend stabilises me on male. Maybe it's because G has made it quite clear she's just as happy with a girlfriend as a boyfriend.Quotebox

Re: LGBTAitP Part 23: Et tu, ~Bianca?
I know right?! Is so crazy!
I hope you don't get Lyme! It's not a big problem here (if it's dangerous, it's not in Ireland!) but I learned about what to do anyway, because I love knowing what to do.
I think I like apples better, but they're both great. I do like Golden Delicious, but I think my favourite (right now anyway) are Pink Ladies. They're so incredibly juicy.
Yes! Your body's genetic-controlled system for where it distributes whatever fat it has is really the biggest control. Also, though, don't forget that also applies to retaining fat: people who are fat aren't fat because they're lazy and eat everything they see. They're disposed towards retaining fat, and plenty of fat people eat well and exercise. Diet plays a role, as does the kind and frequency of exercise, but metabolism and genetics are huge factors and totally out of our control.
That's all very well, and good points well made, but people who run a poetry competition shouldn't say "that poem isn't allowed because it made me feel uncomfortable as it confronted my ideas of proper gender expression". That's the kind of thing a good poem does! They're allowed feel that way, but they shouldn't disqualify poems on that basis.
I also wasn't able to find it! Turns out lots of crappy things happen in Arizona. And many other places as well, obviously, not ragging on Arizona.
Love it!

Re: LGBTAitP Part 23: Et tu, ~Bianca?
You echo my own feelings precisely. It's good to know others are on the same page.
As for my age, I'm probably a decade ahead of the average age here.
Quite so. Even when you figure out the specifics of how they interact on the surface, getting to the underlying reasons is always the tricky part...
edit: Also, on hitchiking:
I don't think most people would actually offer you a ride out of the blue, unless you were actually "thumbing" (I'm not sure if this signal is still used) for one.
Can't say I've found it innapropriate. I'm one for thinking thrice before crying out "bigotry", but I don't see any other explanation.
Selpharia does have a point, though, the poem induces the reader to consider a male knight in a dress; unless you intended to leave ambiguity on the gender of the poetic speaker, or otherwise felt it was unecessary to clarify on it, the poetic speaker does not come through immediatly as female.
That shouldn't qualify it as inadequate, though, even if we are talking of a male knight.Last edited by Tonal Architect; 2012-04-25 at 06:14 AM.

Re: LGBTAitP Part 23: Et tu, ~Bianca?
I've had Lyme twice before. Also I appear to have a bullseye rash now, but it's an odd square shape almost in the shape of the bandage I had over the bite...bloody hell, looks like the adhesive on these bandages doesn't agree with my skin.
Dude, Ireland is like, the opposite of Australia.
Pink Ladies are excellent.

Last I knew holding out a thumb was the most common way of attempting to solicit a free ride, and that's what I was doing.Jude P.

Re: LGBTAitP Part 23: Et tu, ~Bianca?
Can we please keep the discussion of all the horrible things in Arizona to PMs? I vainly did a search and got a bit sick of the world as well. It is not a nice place.
In other news, creepy internet stalker/fabulous drag friend wants to pay me for being his personal assistant ... in a skimpy outfit. No thanks.
In otter news, I am still going on a date tonight! It is raining, but we'll be mixing white wine and cider under the boughs of a springtime tree. I am confident - and also happy that he called to make sure we weren't cancelling just because of a few grey clouds.
I like pears better, I think. Apples are easier to eat, but I enjoy pears more.
A few years ago I went to a pear orchard and picked seven different kinds. One was the size of a small melon.
It was exciting, I tell you!
