IIRC, Qaera is the playgrounder formerly known as AThousandWords. Hence why it's funny. =P

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII (177)
Oh, I thought AThousandWords was banned for doing that, but apparently he just stopped doing it and changed his username.
Y'know, when he did it, it wasn't irritating or spammy in any way, and then he was forced to stop.
Then a moderator does so without contributing to the discussion in any way, and while getting on at least one person's nerves, and probably many, many more.
Does this mean that obnoxious spam is exempt from the rules?
Or are our moderators above those rules? If that's the case, they might as well troll and otherwise be massive jerks. Oh, look!

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII (177)
*ahem*
[pretentious voice]Anyone with expertise can clearly tell that he is not a monk, but a friar. Monks are cloistered, while this man is of a mendicant order, which means that he is a friar. The Capuchins are a branch of the Franciscan order, which is something that anyone with expertise on such matters would know. Those making this video are obviously ignorant and uneducated.[/pretentious voice]
All right, it's not actually that big a mistake. Most people don't know the difference. Brother Cesare is very cool, and I've heard of him before. He's wouldn't be a bad thing for me to age into, especially with the badass beard (mine is so much shorter). One day I will be like him, and enjoy metal in clerics. Unlike him though, I think I'll be showing up to concerts in a cassock.
Though knowing some people that come to the local shows, I'd probably get a lot of hate for doing so.Last edited by DraPrime; 2012-05-28 at 10:55 PM.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII (177)
Whoa, escalation. I was AThousandWords, name changed for other reasons. Used to draw my posts cause writing is easier than typing for me, but a lot of good reasons (quotation, loading times, readability) were given and I stopped doing it every post. I'm pretty sure I could still do it occasionally if I wanted to but I haven't; it was just every post that way being against the rules. So Rawhide doing it once is within the rules... And contributed by saying he liked that I graduated since now we can date (we've been shamelessly flirting for months now through PMs). So yeah... :)

I was gonna say Friar monk-difference thing. CURSE YOU BEARDED DRAGON!
You really don't like Rawhide much, do you? I tear up at his posts too (probably for different reasons though), you're not alone.
( Most of your RB posts are just '''s'' at Rawhide. Post some stupid things! Link to a Batman dance! Know the difference between a WMG Youtube block and video removal! Don't make a weird thread in board/site issues about a certain word! "" doesn't make a post not-rude!*insert sophmore feeling proud rant here!*)Last edited by Mutant Sheep; 2012-05-28 at 11:26 PM.

Okay, so we're spinning...
And now I'm dizzy.
In other news, went down to the tip and got rid of a lot of stuff. It is surprisingly fun throwing pieces of old furniture onto a pile.

For me, it's fun to go "right, this thing is borked anyway, and we're going to throw it away. So let's take it outside, get a big hammer, and bork it some more". Heh.
Last year's new years party we held in a cottage that was about to be demolished. So we were given free reign to trash the whole place. It's surprisingly difficult to break down a door.Awesome fremetar by wxdruid.
From the discomfort of truth there is only one refuge and that is ignorance. I do not need to be comfortable, and I will not take refuge. I demand to *know*.

It's a pity the Fitness First close to the Department of Health is on an elevated level; otherwise I'd be tempted to rock up in front of the windows and eat junk food.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII (177)
Got Fluttershy
running around my headgently encouraging me in my mind. God damn exams. This one I have in less than an hour is horrible. The work I've tried to do for it beforehand was freaking irritating - no solutions posted anywhere for the worksheets and the previous exams, so no idea if I'm doing it right. And I'm 90% certain I'm doing it wrong, looking at my past track record for homework (My highest mark on worksheets is half marks, and my average is near about 20%). Psyched myself up with "You can do it if you try!" videos and happy songs. Staying in my happy place, hopefully I can keep elements of my happy place with me.
TL:DR; Need to get 50% on this exam to pass. Think I'm more likely to get 25/30%. Wish me luck, please."I'm just going on motive and opportunity here and the fact that if the earth got swallowed by a black hole, I'd look suspiciously in your direction first."

Yes it is. But the good news is that, in the end, unless something really terrible happened, they'll still love you once they're adults.

Re: Elemental's Excitingly Excellent Random Banter: No.CLXXVII (177)
I second this. I know I'm very often an ******* on these forums (I try not to be, I'm usually offended or my pride has been hurt), but I try to maintain a decent figure in real life and online (I'm just really irritable in both). Believe me, teenagers can be stupid, hurtful, indignant, or a combination of the three. But if you knew what they planned in those developing minds of theirs, you'd be proud to be a parent.
Give it time, and you'll know those years did not go to waste (I'm replying to this smaller post so I don't quote MASSIVE BOLDED LETTERS THAT TAKE UP LOTS OF SPACE).Last edited by Triscuitable; 2012-05-29 at 05:05 PM.
