second the flower motion, we may still convince it that we are not a foe and assist it. ^_^

Then again, that is a shiny bauble. Shiiiiiiny. *w*

New update, be sure to ask your doctor or physician to see if a new update is right for you - Give the doll a flower

    Spoiler
    Show

You leave for a moment to find a flower to give to the doll as a symbol of peace.

As you return, the doll let's out an exasperated sigh and mumbles

    "Sahne.."

You're sure if it could make an annoyed face, then it would now.

You drop your offering to the ground in front of the doll.

    Ow!

Wait, what are you- Get off-!

It doesn't seem too bothered by the damp heat you emanate. Probably because it's made of fluff and stuff.

Man, this thing is creepy *and* annoying. Best go in the direction it's pointing in otherwise the wretched thing will probably suck out our soul and chuck another bead at our corpse.

Oh, and for later consideration - once this thing has got it's leg back and we can go, I want to find one of those beads, pick it up and bean the doll as hard as I can with it.

We are not a pokemon! Though hitting us with spheres does seem to be working out for it.

I vote to go where it is pointing.

Perhaps it will give us food as a reward? If not, we can allways just go back and eat flowers.

I doubt the doll is too bothered by our heat aura. Since one, it's a stuffed doll and thereby lacking the capacities to feel pain and two, it's hard to start a fire with hot water.

    Or in this case, slime.

At least, we should look in the direction the Hugfluff is pointing. Maybe it wants us to go to the chapel? I think we should try to ask whether it sides with the light or with the dark. We probably can't communicate this verbally, though.

    Spoiler
    Show

Your passenger has resumed chanting it's mantra as you follow the direction pointed out to you.

You realize this is the same way you were going earlier anyways.

    You've found the Chapel!

But it looks like something else found it before you - This place is a wreck! A single candle is the only light source other than yourself in the area.

You quickly notice several hug-fluffs lying around. Who may have been snuffed out a little more literally than all the candles. If they used to move like your presumed new friend, they sure aren't doing it anymore.

    Well, uh..

Except that one. That one is still moving.

And heading out of the chapel towards you!

    H-how does it see us?

My Vote: Eat one of the extinguished candles in the hopes of regaining offencive heat capabilities that will work on the cloth-zombies. I would pick the biggest one to the far left on the fence-post.

Also, stay away from that thing with no eyes.

I'm pretty sure our adaptive abilities are not like Kirby's. We have to eat verifiable organic creatures to gain their powers. Any old inanimate object won't do, and nor will inorganic creatures like Hugfluffs or golems.

At times like this I miss the old will o'wisp flame. It looks like the eyeless Hugfluff is being controlled like a marionette by something. It may not even be animate by itself. We should try to avoid it for now, but if it attacks with its sword we could try to lure it into the lit candle.

If aiding the Light is our current objective, then our overall plan of action should be to light all the other candles using the single lit one. I hope we can persuade our passenger to pick up the candle, since with our clumsy ooze dexterity, we would probably end up extinguishing it by accident.

Also, could we have a closer look at the sign?

Felt this was worth emphasising. If we eat the candle we will only put it out or worse, damage ourselves.

    DO NOT EAT THE CANDLE.

At the moment we have one lit candle...I know!

Position ourselves close to the candle to draw the zombfluff in. When the zombfluff gets close enough to it, get our friend to pelt it with a button. It'll send the candle flying into the zombfluff and incinerate it.

You focus on the nearby sign as the un-fluff lurches slowly towards the stairs.

The original imprint is faded and looks like it was painted over with a new message. You can't help but be reminded of what happened the last time you trusted sloppily painted graffiti.

However, you're unable to discern if it's new message is of meaning to you or not, as someone or something seems to have torn over the surface, making it mostly unrecognizable.

    Wait... Candle wax is inorganic?

    *checks wikipedia*

The internet tells me otherwise! Therefore it should be edible!

Attempting to use our only lit candle as a weapon carries the chance of extinguishing it by accident. If eating the unlit candles is out of the question, I vote we first light some other candles with the lit candle.

Crude oil is organic as well but that doesn't mean you'd want to eat it. Also, candles aren't creatures which the target ALSO needs to be for us to properly use it.
