Re: Total War: Broken City
The EBSA Esp Def- 7
Fight for Dogma
Captain Rargo threw himself heavily to the side, crashing through a wooden door to avoid a glowing ball of green energy thrown by one of the Librarians damned mages. Landing took the air from his lungs, and he wheezed for a moment as he stood. The streets of Dogma were hellish, and most of the EBSA troops had taken to houses to take cover from the seemingly constant blast of foul magic. He had sent a runner back to the closet Field Office to ask for more troops, and especially mages to counter the librarians forces as best they could.
He sheathed his sword for a moment, hefting the crossbow he wore on his back, peeking out the shattered window for his attacker. His halberd had been lost near the beginning of the fighting when the combat had been vicious room to room fighting rather than a more conventional warfare. He saw the dark robed figure in a window across the street, and he fired, grinning as the figure grabbed his throat and slumping forwards into the window frame. He stood and bellowed for his men still out in the street and surrounding buildings "Form up! Use cover and advance!"
To ESGE, Champions, Ram Revolution, House Wallen
SpoilerThe EBSA's first priority as of now is to start getting any survivors out of Dogma, and funneling them to safety. Our troops will still form a rearguard, but we cannot allow civilian deaths to occur if they can be avoided.
As for the future, we will have to purge the MU in the city before opening a place of learning for our youth. She's Shona Han. Disappearing for a hundred years just means she's had a hundred years to plan. Trying to find out what happened to her is just going to draw her attention.

Re: Total War: Broken City
The Chruch of Neposh DESP 7
The Wizard Delathion
Spoiler
We would like to offer you a Dean position at the school that is currently under construction in the Pews. The position would not require much work if you choose not to get involved, but we are hoping that tieing your greatness to the school will help bring in new students. Of course if you would like to teach we would be honored to have some of your wisdom be passed down through the ages.
There is a secondary problem we would like to disscuss with you. The Empty Blood Gang seems to be bringing a lot of ire from military forces in the city. We do not wish to see bloodshed in Annosus, but I fear that may be the only solution to the problem. Are you willing to back us in their removal?
- Your Friend, Harvey Hashawk
The Council
Spoiler
The church has begun to found a school for the magically inclined. It is currently focused on healing and echantment magic, although we are looking for teachers to expand. Would the council be willing to support this either through instructors or financial assistance?
The ESBA
Spoiler
With the recent events, we may now be able to allow your offices in our territory. We would like to ask if you would allow us to build churches in ESBA territory to help spread the faith?

Church of Neposh
SpoilerWe would not stop the spread of churches, especially those who preach goodness and charity. We thank you for allowing our field offices.
The Council
SpoilerWith the current conflict, I am unsure when the council will have enough spare resources to help with this endeavor. Will the school be affiliated with the church of Neposh? Or will it be separate?
To all Factions except Librarian
SpoilerThe Librarian has proven without a doubt the breadth of her treachery. The Mages Ubiquitous are within the city... in force. Even those of you who disagree with the council, or have no quarrel with the Librarian must recognize this threat.
Looking up past encounters with these Shaker Mages, an aid found this:The sheer scale of the destruction they are known to bring is terrifying on a cosmic scale, and the inherent response of your everyday citizen (or, indeed, your everyday wizard) is to run as far and fast as possible. She's Shona Han. The Silversmith's Guild
To the Sovereign Guild Association of Sav Altulas
SpoilerThe Silversmith's Guild's representative remains silent and still while the Doctor presents his plans and ideas, and a small smile slowly grows on his face. After the doctor is done, the representative will make a motion to stand and respond.
Spoiler"We can definitely provide jewellary that will be delightful and intriguing to the birdmen, and agree with the Doctor's proposal in that measure. However, it is in regards to the establishment of a new coinage system that we may not have enough resources to spend. The Silversmith's Guild does not have many mages in it, and those that do are not the strongest available. We may be able to provide some Magic, but likely not enough for such a big project. Could any other guilds also contribute mages to this project?

Silversmith Guild [SGA Meeting] [PM]
Spoiler
Vassari smiles: ''It's one of the long-term projects anyway. And Everything I've said is merely a proposal, to be discussed and altered.''
He taps his fingers on the table in thought, as a servant refills the wine glasses of the representatives, before slinking away.
''The lack of magic... Perhaps you could remedy it? Many Mages are currently deserting the Librarian and I doubt they served her out of loyalty, but rather out of fear. Rather than leaving them on the streets without master, we can work together to recruit them to serve our Guilds.''

The Church of Neposh
SpoilerYes, congratulations are in order. The people of Lead Fellow no longer need to fear the sinister technology cult due to our might. With the Militia as there protector, peace and prosperity can return.
Technists Guild
SpoilerWe recently came across the Esoteric Order of Uncorrupted Designs most secret designs. Seeing as you shared your technological knowledge with us recently, the Militia feels that it should provide a similar offer: were willing to share the Uncorrupted Designs trait for 4t. wealth or military.

SpoilerSeeing as your among the more technology minded, we were wondering if the Gear would be interested in the schematics of the Uncorrupted Designs (4t. wealth or military)

Re: Total War: Broken City
Blackfist to the Gear's chosen, Order of the Wren [5]
Spoiler
The Wren exaggerates. While we would like to add the Pits to our territory, we have long since evacuated those we would call our supporters. Thus, we would not like an attack on the territory (there are too many civilian workers there to end up as potential collateral damage), but we would not see it as an attack on ourselves.
Public Declaration
Since we feel that it is not entirely in the spirit of football to see men crushed under the boots of powered armour or ripped apart by paramilitary gang fighters, we are changing the rules a bit.
From now on, there will be three different football leagues, called the Bronze, Silver and Gold leagues. So far, everyone is considered to be in the Silver league until they qualify for another, except for the Empty Blood and the Technist's guild, who have already earned a place in the gold league.Resident Vancian Apologist

The Sausage Guild
Def Esp 7
To Dr. Vassari
SpoilerI have confirmed that the body you sent for examination was manipulated by blood magic. A small sac was attached to the back of the man's throat. When he turned his head the sac broke and released its contents.
The method was somewhat crude, more a substitute for surgery than the work of an expert blood mage. Any competent blood mage could have done it, but it was likely not one that was much more than competent.
Master Shaper Roderick Glothel
SGA Meeting (PM)
SpoilerBloodhand shows up still showing the signs of fighting and soot stains. He is also somewhat annoyed about being called away from whatever he was doing, but he is willing to listen to something so clearly in his interests.
Spoiler"First of all. It's not going to be so easy to set up shop in Guild's Row. Someone's already done so. Not just your ordinary charlatans pretending to be honest guild men, but a group that's much more professional than that. "
"We've been hunting them, and we have had some success, but we still don't even know who they are. We do know they used Verdan produced Precision explosives, as well as quantities of clingfire when they set fire to the Commerce House. I suspect that they are agents of a foreign power."
"Before we agree to anything else we suggest using our combined shadow networks to root these people out. While at the same time rebuilding the Commerce Hall. It was after all used for precisely what this association is for, inter guild meetings and dispute arbitration, and although it has not served as such in recent years. It would be a solid proof of our intentions if we rebuilt and reestablished it for its original purpose."
"We are willing to provide assistance in recruiting more mages away from the Librarian, but we do think that she will likely be prepared for such an endeavor as several organizations, including ourselves, did this already last month."
"We do know some people who might be interested in the new Guilders though. We will see what they have to say before commenting further."
"We can also work to establish lines of communication and movement unhindered by intervening factions if that proves necessary."Last edited by ArcaneStomper; 2012-09-10 at 03:37 PM.

Streets of Leads Farrow (PM, but not secret in anyway)
Spoiler
Richard Hearthfeather walks through the streets of Leads Farrow, yelling to crowds of nervous commoners that are still scared from the fighting that took place days ago.
Watchman Kos, what rock do you hide under! It was the chruches blood that fought off the crazed and their horrid creations from these streets. Then Kos came and in a desprate attempt to make the world see him through false eyes, he attempts to take credit for their distruction. I see through your cowardace. I challenge you to a duel for the honor of liberating Leads Farrow. Come face me and show the world how much a man you really are!

Re: Total War: Broken City
Ram Revolution:
TO: The City at Large
Spoiler
It has recently come to my attention that many mistakenly believe that the current actions of the Republican Army in The Pits are a war between the Blackfists and the Revolution. This is not true. The gangs in The Pits have been forsaken even by the Blackfists (as for why, you will have to ask them yourself), and our heroic forces are attempting to remove the criminals from the area.
Additionally, there are those who have voiced concerns for the citizens of the area. Let me say that that exact fear is what is causing the removal of the gangs to take so long - If we didn't care about civilian casualties, we would have taken the pits as quickly as the blackfists took Deadman Hill and the Harrowing Fields. It has never, and will never be our policy to attack or injure innocent civilians, and we firmly believe in the premise of "innocent until proven guilty". In addition, if anyone has a method of telling the criminals from the innocent civilians that will speed up the process, and allow the people of the Pits to live free from oppression quicker, we would welcome the suggestion.

Re: Total War: Broken City
Blackfist Response statement
We have made our offers to the Pits gangs. Some of them (we like to think of them as the reasonable ones) joined us months ago. Others denied our offer of brotherhood and mutual safety. They still live in the pits today. We respect their decision to handle their own affairs, even if we mourn for brothers lost before they could join us.
Our offer still stands. Anyone who wants to leave the pits and come to our territories is free to do so. We will help any refugee set up a place of their own, free from the oppression they fear in other districts, free to go about their own affairs, free to live their own lives.
In fact, we are, even now, working on a plan to provide housing and help to all who need it, a project to help the poorest of the city.Resident Vancian Apologist

Re: Total War: Broken City
The Heladuit Court
D. Esp: 4
Silversmith's Guild, Mercantile Guild, Sausage Guild, Technist Guild, Bloodhaven Hospital [PM]
Spoiler
Javier Heladuit is the first to arrive to meet the Dr. Vasari, as he had been present at the opening of the new marketplace. Though his efforts in selling the styles of his peers and himself could not be discounted for their effects on Heladuit profits, Javier's presence had been felt far more in keeping things organized and running smoothly. The financial and logistic end of of the task, that was Javier's specialty. It was why he was chosen by his family to be their figurehead here.
"I will start by stating that I find most of these ideas favorable. Help with the airship fleet's construction and crew training. Everyone chips in, handles their specialty, and everyone benefits. There can rarely be an argument against that sort of deal. Just understand that if you wish for us to train your officers, it's likely that you should expect Heladuits to be your officers.
I can also agree to the spiderweb, but I will admit it is because of how it is especially beneficial to us. You see, though many of my kin have a mind for intrigue, they don't quite have the wardrobe for it. Basic information gathering can be done. Our only true sort of espionage exists in the web of spies who reside in the Golden Pave. They cannot reach far, but they can cover the web for that neighborhood and maybe a small area outside of it.
Guild's Row. This is my first of two points of contention I have with your plans. Private communication between the different Guilds is an intelligent idea. Even competitors must be able to speak freely without fear of prying ears suddenly jarring people's perceptions of the economy with half-truths and insider secrets. What I do not know if I agree to is how closely it binds us. I may be convinced otherwise, but currently I do not see one unified guild as something we need to be a part of. My family do their best work when against competition. The idea of this Association seems to centralized. I request that it be looser, or that I at least be given a good reason we are so bound.
Finally, the second of my two concerns, is the shared military guard. I cannot say that I disagree with it. It is that I'm unsure if my house can commit. We do not have a particularly large guard, and my Lord Markus is capricious in their use. I know we'd like to protect our fellow merchants if they need it, even if it was only to ensure the same protection for ourselves. The problem is how little it would leave of our forces for our own use, and I'm loathe to part Markus from what may be his favorite toy.
The Champions of Sovereignty [PM]
Spoiler
*Markus looked at James with a small grin. He had sauntered into the room in what looked like an intentionally oversized violet overcoat; it had flared sleeves, the collar reached the back of his head, and the bottom of the coat's front reached his knees. The very end of the coattail was still peaking outside the door. Markus quickly snapped it towards him and coiled it around an arm, before placing the coil of coattail down besides his chair. He wanted to interject some entertainment into what he expected would be a dull, diplomatic calling. There had been too much riveting commotion recently to let boredom suddenly befall him.
*Ahem* "Well, hello.... James, is it? What a pleeaaasssure to meet you. I understand that you're attempting to marshal allies in a government to stand opposite that infernal council? That council meeting where I hear my speech was bashed and slandered by near every participant within?"
*Markus raises an eyebrow, his makeup greatly exaggerating the simple facial expression. His lips curl up on one side slightly. He's obviously enjoying this.*
"After which, you speak with my cousin Javier about a proposed alliance... and that's that? From what I gathered, he agreed that I was to be your Master of Finances. Now, that is not what I had ever dreamed of being, but I trust Javier's judgement. Since then, I haven't gotten a word as to what that entails. I don't know what you're doing, nor who you're doing it with. You want me to be a part of your government but I don't know the first thing about it!."
*Markus takes a breath to retrieve his sophisticate air from wherever his minor rant had seen it off to.*
"Now, I'm going to require a bit of explanation here if you expect me to be a positional figurehead for you. Please, take your time, because I expect more than a few bumbled excuses."
My last breath... ...is also my mintiest...

Vassari to Sausage Guild [5]
Spoiler
''Thank you for your assistance. It appears my theory was validated. A very intelligent and twisted man, but neither a demon nor a god. Can you track a man by his blood?''
Sovereign Guilds Association
Spoiler
Heladuit Court
''Naturally. I've proposed that Heladuit Court provides officers, because I believe their men to be most fit in this capacity. As long as they take the responsibility of the leadership along with authority, there shouldn't be any problems. Which I don't think there would be any.''
''I don't see much competition between us - you deal in fabrics, I deal in medicine, Technists make cogs and Silversmith Guild works with precious metals. The Guild Row would be merely a market place for us to conduct our trades, whether they be joint projects, services of spies or soldiers. And it will be a place to impress our power and affluence on others, create a powerful impression of the wealth and splendor of Sav Altulas Guilds.''
''How would your grace propose to make the Association looser?''
''As for military cooperation, I wouldn't have brought this question up, if it weren't for the current situation in the city. As it is I don't see any authority, that would protect any of us, craftsmen of the city, if some militant thug decides to acquire our wealth. I wouldn't lie, my own guards are hardly a fighting force. Let me ask you - does any Guild here feels threatened and in need of military protection?''
Sausage Guild
''A foreign power trying to undermine the reputation of Guilds by a setting up a bunch of impostors in Guild's Row. This could be a plot sponsored by rival traders. If we destroy this organization, secure their resources for our own and hopefully find our who their employers, this will strengthen our prestige and power. I would recommend using our spies for this.''
''I thank you for your information on the situation in Blacksage District. While Librarian would expect covert operations against her, she'd probably focus on dealing with the armies rallied to fight her. On other hand, the risks are greater, then I first anticipated. I'll leave it up to Silversmith Guild to decide on course of action.''
[I can get espionage for Guild Row's project. I also think stealing MAG from Librarian might be worth a shot, though I'm less certain now, so if Silversmith Guild thinks it's a decent plan, we'll go through with them.]

mercantile's guild
SGA
Spoilergeneral Brador, the leader of the guilds security companies arrives, his armor still blood-stained from the fighting in the shattered lands.
Spoilerthe guild was already planning to donate 5 WEL to the airship projects.
we can perhaps also lend 7 ESP to the web, but that might not happen if the gears-chosen decide to press their issue with me.
will also pledge 2 WEL to the completion of guilds row. 1 WEL to council road.
my only concern is the same as the helauduit courts: the military guard. the guild barely has enough men to protect our land routes, let alone enough to send off to to fight and potentially die in other conflicts within the city.
the council[0]
Spoilerso i have an idea to promote trade and restore safe routes through the shattered-lands. i plan to establish trade-outposts all along our trade-routes at specific intervals to make sure there are no weak points. these outposts could be garrisoned by a small contigent of men and should sufficiently reduce all caravan losses to bandits which in turn will allow the city to prosper and reclaim its former glory.

Spoilerour borders will cease to grow as soon as the stocks are under our guidance.
as to your price, we will not hand over our new citizens of the guild to you just so they can be tortured and killed.
however, i may decide to return the books and schematics to you.

Mendicant's Field Necromancers to Gear's Chosen (8)
Spoiler
An interesting proposal, friend. The problem becomes that if it is known that we control the Field, people may want to stop burying their dearly departed in our little patch of earth. Any arrangement we come to must be discreet.
Warlords to Mercantile's Guild (4)
Spoiler
Agia Lonecutter: What might you want with the Lonecutter family, friend?
Maximillian Greeves: Certainly. I'm always happy to talk.

Neilson's Guns: Yep.
Training: It does, yes, mostly because you wouldn't actually have resources to spare to train them in the first place. Your infrastructure is occupied with maintaining your current level of guards, spies and trade, and can't support any more.
Entirely feasible. It would be a rather large project, but I could easily see the benefits being rather large as well.

Yeah, gotta say dat was a bit of a surprise, yous movin' in like dat. So long as you's usin' Union labor, though, I don' really be seein' a problem. You get what I'm sayin'? Eh?
Dreumont to Gear's Chosen (5)
Spoiler
That would be wonderful! I assure you, we will do everything in our power to make you comfortable during your visit, honored guest.
Lodstrom Party Internal Council (PM)
Spoiler
The suggestion of accepting refugees into Sky is not received with anything near enthusiasm. The general opinion is summed up by this rather blunt comment:
"While we are not unsympathetic to their plight, accepting refugees from war-torn areas is traditionally the service that Runner's City performs, so that the rest of Sav Altulas can get on with being a beacon of civilization. Do we really want desperate people, people who history has shown will easily turn to thievery and vagabondage, on our very doorstep?"
Delathion to Church of Neposh (7)
Spoiler
It would be my pleasure to accept such a position, and I feel obligated to thank you for the opportunity. It is good to see that respect for the magical arts is truly alive and well in Oldtown, despite what has been going on in Blacksgage.
As for this "Empty Blood Gang," I can't say that I've had much contact with them. Most people in Annosus tend to stay out of my way after what happened to the last bunch of fools who tried to steal from my sanctum. If they are as hated as you say then surely something must be done, at least to defuse the situation, but I would first like to know the reason why they are so despised, as I am loathe to unleash my full power for mere political reasons.

The Champions of Sovereignty
To the Heladuit Court: [PM]
SpoilerJames returns the smile, hiding his disdain for Markus as best he could. This man represented everything that was wrong with the nobility, but it was probably not a good idea to tell him that.
"It is James yes, and I am marshalling allies to stand against the council. Under myself, as King. I don't wear this thing for show."
James taps the silver crown on his head
"I would like your support, Javier proposed offering you a position in my government. The Ministry of finance is available, but to be honest most of the positions are. A lot of people don't need convincing. The council clearly won't function as a long-term option, and the Ram Revolutions third option, does not bear thinking about."
"What position would you like? I expect something a bit more fun than counting coins?"
To the Sovereign Guilds Association: [PM]
SpoilerKing James approached the building slowly, the significant military presence giving him more than a little nervous apprehension. These men were not a threat though, merely a reminder that greater threats existed. Hopefully today would be another step to defeating them.
With as much authority as he could muster, James ordered his bodyguards to remain outside, approaching the doorman with a stride in his step.
"Halt! Who goes there?"
The dozens of crossbows pointed in his direction did little for his nerves, but the king was able to answer with only a slight quaver.
"James, King of Sav Altulas. I've come to address the Sovereign guilds. Dr Vassari should have told you to expect me."
There was a momentary pause. Claiming to be King never went down well, the boy's shortness certainly didn't help.
"This way sir."
The doorman led the way through the complex, down winding corridors, a few still bearing evidence of the places former beauty, artworks and statues, untouched by the chaos of previous months. For the most part however the building was too drab, dusty, rotten. Hopefully that could be fixed, along with the rest of the city. Eventually, after what seemed far too long for the size of the building they reached a large pair of wooden doors.
The doorman left him there. Unsure what to do; a pair of guards standing to attention just beside him, he moved to knock the door, then thought better of it, and simply pushed it open unannounced.
Catching the last snippets of General Brador's comment, James responded quickly.
"Perhaps I can help with that. My military is one of the larger in the city, and we have few territories of our own to defend. You're all doing a good job rebuilding the city, I wouldn't want to see that go to waste."
James stood silently for a moment, before realising he hadn't introduced himself.
"Oh, right. Sorry to break in on you like this. I'm King James, no doubt you've heard of my Champions. I'm here to gather your support for my ascendancy to the throne. And to begin work on the nations new economic policy"Last edited by razovor; 2012-09-10 at 07:09 PM.

Re: Total War: Broken City
the Sovereign Guilds Association meeting (PM)
Spoiler
Matt Rosen, the large, bear like leader of the Technists guild, frowns, and grumbles out something, in that rough, smoke and chemical strained voice of his.
"As a leader of the Technists guild, I'll hear ya. As a Rosen? The Iron Rose Remains Unbowed. You claim to be the king. Frankly, I don't give a rats ass if your a pureblooded scion, or the great-grand kid of a streetwalker. So far as I can tell, theres no diffrence. The Kings were established because at least one of them earned it. After that, it was a crap shoot. So what makes you into someone we should follow? How have you earned it?"

Re: Total War: Broken City
The Heladuit Court
D. Esp: 4
Sovereign Guilds Association [PM]
Spoiler
"Please, do not refer to me as "your Grace." Reserve that for my wonderful cousins, Markus and Meredia. I am merely the... bookkeeper. I handle numbers more often than a needle.
It is not just economic cooperation I worry about. You know as well as I do that there has been nothing but land grab after power grab after land grab since the sorceress died. As far as I can see, that has not stopped. If it were not for our recent cooperation under your supervision, I wouldn't be able to find a reason for Markus to not do his best to take the Dappled Court completely for himself. Now, I have no issue with sharing some territory with the Silversmith's Guild. But cooperation with so many people in so many areas, it leads to lack of adversaries. If you're already working with everyone, there's nothing further to accomplish. But I digress, I sometimes get caught up in the moment so much I lose a sense of scale. This city is large, and this world is larger. We will have no trouble to find more land to expand to. Forget I said anything.
I believe that leaves only the military cooperation decision, which I will wait for more input on before adding what I have to say on continued cooperation. Any cooperation needed, militarily or otherwise, to root out the Guild's Row foreign power will be lended."
The Champions of Sovereignty [PM]
Spoiler
*Markus thinks on James's words for awhile. He smiles, seeing the crown on James's head, before frowning that it was not on his own head, before smiling again because, honestly, James was kind of... cute... with the crown on. It fit him.*
"Oh, no worries, Minister of Finance will go swimmingly, I can't think of anything more exciting. By that, I mean I'll take the position figuratively, while my kinsman Javier can do the nitty gritty; he's blessed at that sort of thing. Odd sort of half-orc, but I'd be damned if he weren't around. That said, given I won't be busy counting and appropriating your gold, I could do other sorts of work if you needed it of me. Charismatic speaker? Dashing guard captain? I need a new hobby. Anything you can think of, I'm listening."
To the Brotherhood of the Flowering Rose [PM]
Spoiler
*Meredia arrived as a goodwill ambassador to the brotherhood. Arriving with her usual fanfare, riding her trademark miniature camel, she appeared to be wearing a dress with shoulder frills that were up the neck of the average human. When she dismounted from the camel, it became apparent that the frills only reached most people's upper bicep.*
"Ah, it's a pleasure to meet you in person. I come bearing goodwill and as a means of transporting information. It must confess, we had to wipe away the last of one of our own enemies before we could spare any resources to help you. Now however, we are free to raise you above the miscreants who would dare try to keep this neighborhood from us.
Tell me of the Righteous Army of Kelen Tosh, and of the Defeated, and most of all tell me about yourself. Finally, I only just arrived here, so if you could tell me about your district, I'd love to personally know more about The Drueger Grounds.
Now, if you don't mind, I was hoping we could discuss this over dinner. I know I'm the guest, but I hope you don't mind a breach in general hospitality customs.
*With that, Meredia snapped her fingers twice and the chefs and extra hands began to unload a cart full of not only meat and produce, but also the items to build what appeared to be a small makeshift kitchen*
"I've got a portion of some of the best Leviathan the Sausage Guild has on the market, and my own cooking staff. If you don't mind letting my people use some of your kitchen appliances to fill in for the ones we could not transport, I can promise you a meal you'll likely not forget!"

mercantile's guild
to warlords[PM]
Spoileri have called you here to discuss something that could benefit us both.
if i were to supply your respective bands with weaponry would you be willing to let my caravans pass without incident? since i already have caravans going your way, i can probably just slip a couple crates of arms and armor on board with them.
this way i make some profit and you are better equipped for your ventures.
SGC
Spoilerafter listening to the "king" and the technists guild founder, general brador carefully considers his response before replying while i am not sure my employers would be willing to swear allegiance to you necessarilly, but i dont believe they would oppose you.

Re: Total War: Broken City
The Sausage Guild
To the Dove
SpoilerWe've received word that there's some groups looking to make a new coinage. one backed by magic rather than metal. We thought to ourselves, Whose the best person we know at designing coins. And why of course we thought of you. How would you like the chance to get in on the ground floor of a new mint.
To the Exchange
SpoilerWe'd like to apologize for how we acted towards you earlier. We were impatient, but we've learned to keep our heads a bit cooler now. You can see how we've partnered with the Ansigaris to expand our vaults without having to resort to crude methods. Now we'd like your help as well.
A collection of guilds is considering issuing a new currency. One backed by magic and impossible to counterfeit. But none of us really has any expertise at coining money. We'd like you to be involved in the project. In time we plan to make it the strongest currency in the city, and if you helped your mint and money exchangers would be in control of exactly how strong it was. What do you say. Are you willing to join this undertaking?
To the SGA (PM)
SpoilerSeated at the far end of the table Bloodhand sits on a low stool, none of the available chairs being sturdy enough for him. On his arm a set of veins shifts and writhes into runic shapes that briefly glow blood red before returning to their natural state. A message for him and one he mulls over. Something to tell the other guilds, but not with the so called king standing in front of them. He had his own questions for the upstart, but first he would see how the boy answered Rosen.

Re: Total War: Broken City
To the champions of sovereignity [PM]
SpoilerThe very next day after sending the letter to Lodstrom party, King James found an unexpected guest knocking on his door: Madame Beteoui.
“Oh, your Majesty, I'm so happy to speak to you! I come to ask why you wish to witness our little Party's discussions. If we didn't do it before it was because we feared you wouldn't be interested, but your message makes me think I'm wrong.
Now, when are you going to take your rightful place in the Palace? What can we, your servants, do to help Your Grace?? I can't wait to know!”
Lodstrom Party Internal Council [PM]
SpoilerOf course, the idea of taking refugees is rejected given the Party's reaction. However, Party members are encouraged to recruit able magicians who are familiar to town to prevent subversion from MU.
Lord Wallen attends the meeting himself, and speaks of an important subject that appears in the book: The idea that a Civil war is inevitable between the Old nobility and the New. He wants to know the Party's opinion.
To the members of the crusade against the Librarian and MU
SpoilerWell said, Lord Founder. How do you suggest we protect ourselves from scrying? I think we need a new private session to discuss new plans, but with precautions to prevent said scrying. LLodstrom Party will continue to support actions against her.
