As for the kiss, sorry Forum. But looking closely at the scene does reveal a gap between their faces as Rainbow picks Flutters up.

Edit: none of these are spoilers, they're just random scenes in episodes.

I might miss a few, I trust other ponies to fill in the gaps.

1. Bop on the nose and general arm-in-arm movement during the "Best Pet" duet.
2. Rainbow grabs Fluttershy to help in Secret of My Excess (admittedly weak since they had to hold the sheet, but Fluttershy is usually a slowdown for Rainbow).
3. Acting together in Hearthswarming Eve
4. Getting Fluttershy out of bed in Super Squeezy Cider 6000, including Fluttershy being embarrased and Rainbow putting her first in line even though that meant missing out on cider.
5. Butterfly migration and dragon migration scene in Dragon Quest (why did Rainbow go to the Butterfly migration? Answer: to be with Fluttershy.)
6. Pretty much all of Hurricane Fluttershy
7. Rainbow picking up Fluttershy during the wedding fight scene looks like they kiss and the sliding on the floor sound is practically the same as a kissing sound. Example of unintentional, but romantic. Plus, even if they don't kiss, they get pretty close to each other.

If you remember that argument way back when I had said that they could get away with a homosexual relationship as long as it was subtle.)

It wasn't really a kissing sound, although its timing does seem like the vast are messing with us. It's a very ambiguous noise whose visual cue seems to be kissing, but I recall there being something else that was a candidate.

This reminds me that I really need to write my "Nighthunter" post-Grand Galloping Gala pulp fiction superhero pony fanfic some day.

Also, I am seriously considering setting up a PbP pony game. Probably going to use the simple Roleplaying is Magic S2E framework rather than the Pony Tales framework, although I will draw on the latter for inspiration.

Only ideas at this point are for an Equestrian campaign, of a tone slightly more "real" than the shows, but not grimdark. Think of the fics Dangerous Days or One Last Quest for an idea of what I'm talking about. Probably start with just 3-4 players. Given the need to set everything up, and determine what kind of story we could have, I don't think this would be starting soon. (not to mention I'm going on a trip in mid September)

Would anyone be interested in such a venture? Qualifications include that I am not an experienced GM, and the RiM mechanics are not as polished as say, nWoD or Mage. So there are likely to be a few teething issues. But I'm confident that, with the right people on board, we could overcome that.

Balmas, Siuis, you seemed to indicate an interest earlier, so if you want you have priority on the player spaces.

I would love to be a part of this, but I just don't think I'll have the time to do it justice.

In these screenshots, it looks like it (especially watching their expressions in the next few frames) but strictly, only their noses overlap - RD's mouth is always a few centimetres from Fluttershy.

I'm not sure about the "pink one" and where ever it might explore, but nothing even remotely sounds crazy-ifying about the rest of you. Hell, people say I deserve a straight jacket, and I'm just fine. And most mad scientists aren't all that scientific in the first place.

I'll see what I can cook up. I don't know that I need priority though; I've got a bit f a full platter that's working tenuously because not all of them go on weekend hiatus at once. I have yet to see what having them all in full swing will do.

A mage with no soul can't cast any magic. A mage without control of his mind or his body can. Indeed ghosts with magic, which are nothing but impressions of the soul, prove that a body is not strictly necessary for casting magic. A mind is necessary because of the imago, the supernal image that manifests into reality. But one can be dominated, or lose one's mind and still form imagos, whereas the intact soul (or a soul-devouring lich-based facsimile) is a necessary component for magic.

Relevant to that, while surfing pony music yesterday for background, during my five-hour stint hollowing out that damn Jalyrkeion MBT (I'm not bitter), I found this genderbent adaption of This Day. Which is a cover, and not just a pitch shift, and modified appropriately. Rather well done, I thought. (And the Evil Laughter at the end is particularly well-executed, from the opinion of a certified expert.)

I see we're discussing FlutterDash. I still can't decide on FlutterDash vs. TwiDash / TwiDash vs Twixie.

The only things I seem to be absolutely decided about at this point are (this is all head canon, of course):

RD is not straight (it's likely that she's bi). Also neither RD nor Fluttershy have siblings so even if they're not in love they are at the very least like sisters to each other. It is possible that RD has a crush on Fluttershy but she doesn't feel the same (this is the premise of my next major story, which is in fact a TwiDash story)
