Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hey there, folks!
Been reading the comic for aaaages now, and I've poked about here a few times now and then. Finally decided to sign up for the gaming/rolelplaying/general chatter side of things. And I see Tyranid references already! This is promising.
So yeah! Nice to meet you all~

Hello everyone. I am here to find someplace to run a play by post game. This looks like a nice place for it.

Hello, Amondrask and Yellow Sign (love the username, by the way). Welcome to the forum!
Yellow Sign, head down to the play-by-post subforum! We always need more players/GMs

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hi everybody!
I'm Max, I've read this forum for a long time, but it's time to start posting.
Be patient: writing from Italy, I will probably make mistakes.
Feel free to correct me.
I'm 29, in case you wonder, and I like rpgs, literature, computers, and generally nerdy stuff.
Otherwise I wouldn't be here after all...
Well, I think that's all for now!
PS: I didn't check my avatar when I registered. i'm curious to see what will come out.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hi to Limited Gish, Gereo and Demorden!
Demorden, LOADS of Italians on the boards. Don't let my location fool you, I'm Italian as well, it's just that I live and work in the UK. As usual in those cases, you get a big "Ciao, paesá!" from me. It's kinda of a tradition.
Welcome to the forum, one and all.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
I never checked how many Italians are here... But I have to admit that I noticed a couple of them. It's great to hear that there are many. I guess the reason is the same for all of us. The best rpg contents apparently are ALL in English! (True both for websites and books, sadly.)
Well, thanks for your warm welcome. "Ciao, paesà!"
And hopefully, see you on the forums.

Starting campaign...
So that's what the avatar I chose looks like...
I am Regitnui (Male human Writer 3/DM 1). I have joined this forum because I see many higher-level DMs and players, and seek training. I am working on an Eberron campaign, starting with a modified version of the Sunless Citadel.
I also play Magic: the Gathering, play-by-post RPGs and enjoy OoTS.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Well, I should probably post something here to follow up registration.
Hey All. I'm a long-time OOtS reader, but I haven't really looked at the forums before. I'm here mainly because I'm interested in getting into PbP games, but I don't actually have any RPG experience online or off, so I'm still a little confused.
Also: I have a tiny netbook, so if anyone knows how to make the "Hide Sidebar" thing stick that would be great.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hi Fellow Gamers and Comic Aficionados!
I've been a big fan of OOTS since I stumbled upon it a handful of years ago. Now I have converted my gaming group as well
When I'm not DMing (or plotting against my adventurers), I'm a fantasy writer, though I often can't tell the difference. I'm also a LARPer with the AOKP group in Orange County and enjoy a good sword fight.
I look forward to getting to know y'all,Sascha Zamani

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hi, I'm Magatsu Izanagi, and I'm a Persona fan (and a fan of a whole lot of other Japanese things, for that matter) who just so happens to read Order of the Stick from time to time. I do some roleplaying on the side, with my systems of choice being D&D 3.X and Pathfinder. I also fancy myself a writer and world builder, though most of my ideas are half-baked at best, and I've never been able to actually bring a project all the way to completion.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hey there, fairly-long time reader, new to the forums. I started reading the comic to prepare for an OotS-themed mafia game on another forum (which I ended up missing, but at least it introduced me to a great comic!). I'll be here a lot, I do a lot of speculating and it will be nice to share my thoughts.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hello! I started reading OotS a while ago, but never got around to checking out the forums. Looking around, this all seems interesting, so I'm here now.
I'll introduce myself. I read things and listen to music and watch things a lot. Games are fun, though I don't play RPGs as much as I'd like. Hopefully I'll have more opportunities to in the near future. I might look into the PbP games here.
Well, that's it. Nice to meet you all.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hello All, and welcome to the forum. I see everyone is new here so let me start out by saying... oops. Ugh, that's right, I am the new guy here. So welcome me already!
Oh, what's that? You want to know more about Simon? Ok sure. I am a Canadian by birth but my parents are from Japan and whatnot. I know just enough French to "get by" because most of my buds are anglophones. My Japanese is good but not the English phonetic, I use the 漢字 (Kanji) when writing e-mails to mom. My dad reminds me how Canadian I sound when speaking with him on the phone. He means this as an insult. Needless to say, I don't talk much to him.
I am a third year med student and plan to go for my Phd in genetics. I'm a member of Greenpeace and I protest deforestation. In my spare time, what there is of it don't you know, I play RPGs, a little MtG, and video games. I will visit here when I can.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hello all! I joined a few weeks ago or so, and figured I might want to post here before anything else. I'm one of my little groups GMs, on occasion, and, I have been told, a rather annoying player. (Still not sure why). I'm a singer and a poet, so my class would probably be bard.
Please excuse any above spelling or grammar mistakes. I've never been good at it.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hi there!
I´m from Brazil and like wargames.
I´ve started on PC with Panzer General in 1993 and since then I´ve played most of them, specially those based on world war II.
In 2011 I´ve bought my first hex and counter tabletop wargame, and I´m loving it.
Now I´m looking for opponents to play by email.
Thanks,
Alexandre

Hi, I feel I should I'm in fact, not angry, or a bear... Although I haven't shaved in a while so the mistake could be made... Big fan of the comic, and looking forward to participating on the forums.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hi :)
I've heard of Order of the Stick before but it is only now Homestuck has gone on megahiatus that I actually spontaneously decided to have a look at it. A few days later, I think I'm now converted. I'm happy that it turned out not to be a series of one-shot comics, or I'd have lost interest quite quickly I think... I'm the kind of person who likes a good long narrative. I'm definitely looking forward to more (get well soon, Rich).
