Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hey sirs, ladies, and those uncategorised.
I wasn't planning to say anything but here I am anyway I guess. I like reading about game balance and making homebrew classes. (All three classes listed are still in development, and there's no cleric or wizard equivalent yet. You might not want to look.)
I joined here because there's clearly some people that understand the balance of Pathfinder and 3.5 a lot better than I do. I thought it might be nice to be able to ask questions and provide my own, potentially misguided, answers. So here I am, I suppose.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hello all,
Lurked for awhile -- posted a couple times last year while I was running a Kickstarter at the same time as the OOTS one.
Just wanted to jump in officially!
(P.S. I must admit, I've been out of the RPG loop for a long time, and when I saw "homebrew", I thought we were talking about delicious beer...)

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Swicked here... for six months, or so, if I'm lucky.
Not counting on it.
Don't usually post in intro threads, but it's been seeming more important, lately.
Important's probably the wrong word.
I'll be on the threads anywhere and everywhere I think I can contribute, so tah...

Mostly yeah. By the way, you might want to check here.
I use braces (also known as "curly brackets") to indicate sarcasm. If there are none present, I probably believe what I am saying; should it turn out to be inaccurate trivia, please tell me rather than trying to play along with an apparent joke I don't know I'm making.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
So I am actually having a bit of trouble right now and I don't know who or how to talk to any admin to fix it.
When I try to view my previous threads/posts from the profile page, it tells me that I do not have permission to access that page.
It says Admin may have disabled account or its waiting activation.
I don't know why it would be disabled and every time I attempt to resend verification email to email, it says it sends it but I get nothing.
Sorry for coming here for this but I don't know where to go.
Also, welcome all!

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Welcome all ye newcomers!
It's a by-product of the search feature being disabled - trust me, the admins find it as annoying as we do, but fixing it would involve several days (or more) of forum downtime, and it's far easier to leave as it is.
Don't worry, that comes up a lot, actually.
And welcome!Avatar by FinnLassie

Sorry, I can't resist...
Jokes aside, welcome aboard and enjoy your stay!

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hi!
I just joined a bit ago. I've been interested in DND for a while and I've done some GM'ing, but I haven't found many players around. An' since pretty much any search for D20 stuff led here, I figured I might as well join. So, yeah!

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Well, I've been using a homebrewed version of DND 3.5 with my group. It's fun- even if we end up fudging the rules a bit.
The downside is that since I've only ever GM'd, it's hard to keep homebrew stuff balanced. Every game is a test session, for better or for worse

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
I know just what you mean. I typically play 3.5 as well but the current game I run nearly everyone is playing a homebrewed class with homebrew races and variant rules. But as long as you have fun that's what matters.
You won't have any trouble finding any players for 3.5 around here, so I hope you have fun in the Playground!

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Salve omnibus! It's been quite a ride being just a lurker here in this grand forum for all these years. All the eavesdroppin' and glancing around has actually enriched a lot of my games and provided insights I fail to find elsewhere. But alas, all good things have to end and thus I throw away the shackles of my shadowy ways and don the vestments of a member.
Melodramatics aside, I've been in the RPG scene for about 18+ years. I started with ODnD and everything pretty much progressed from there. I'm currently pacifying the old RP beast within me in PbP games as RL will not allow me to join tabletop sessions or other real time sessions for that matter. I do hope that I can land a good game in here or probably even be privileged to DM/GM one.
So with that, let me bid everyone a day.

Re: Hello and Welcome New Members, Thread 10
Hi all! My name is Necrocat219 and I am from the forums from a little uknown game called Vortexwars, I was recommended here by Chess435 (indirectly, I'm coming to haunt you! ) and although I don't know too much about these forums yet, but I am what you may call a leaderboardclimber; I will slog away at a game until I do it to death until I become as close to no.1 as possible, and get a real kick out of it (2nd is my record so far, almost there!) I like to roleplay too, although I've become rusty recently and I hope to integrate with you guys too! Scared by the highest post counts though... just wow! XD
