I'm completely new to the site (never even heard of Order of the Stick before...I know, I know: I live in a cave), but I thought the activity in the role-playing boards looked promising, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm not familiar with D&D-style RPing, but I've done some play-by-post stuff in the past. I guess you'd call it free-form...? I don't know. Anyway, I'll try my best to contribute some quality typing.

Hello folks! Long time reader and fan of OoTS, I’ve only now gotten around to registering on the forums. This is mainly due to the persistent nagging/friendly reminders to join up from my friends (You know who you are), but also to see for myself what the community is like here.

Oh, and I wouldn’t worry about the name. Uigeadail’s (Ooogadale? Oeggadal? Yugioh?) pronunciation has been up for whisky-fuelled debate for generations.

English is not my mother tong, I do speak french. I really like this game and my favorite characters are usually Clerics.

I play since 1999, second ed. I've had only few characters but I kept them long.
Human Paladin (2nd ed) (game abandonned)
Dwarf Fighter (2nd ed) (died miserably)
Elf bow-fighter (3.0 ed) (game abandonned)
Human Cleric of Lathandre (3.0) (game abandonned)
Re Human Cleric of Lathandre/Mage - Mystic Theurge (3.5) I played for year untill I reached lvl ~26.

Bonjour et bienvenue! (sorry, my French is a bit out-of-practice)

Search has been disabled; there was some difficulty with it the last time they updated the forums, and putting it back would involve about a week or so of downtime for the server. No one really likes it being gone (especially the admins), but there's not much we can do about it. Normally you can use google and add "site: giantitp.com" before what you're looking for on here.
