Okay, have a ficfic idea seed that someone can grow into a full blown story if they choose:

A new competitive game becomes popular in Ponyville, and Dash learns she is awesome at it, and goes on a streak to become undefeated. Until Pinkie Pie comes along and beats Dash in her first game. Losing some of the attention and the crown of being champ, Dash challenges Pinkie to a rematch, and loses again. Dash is confused, because Pinkie is using a joke character/deck/strategy/whatever. She becomes obsessed with Pinkie, wanting to figure why she can't beat her and take back her crown. Dash obsesses over it and challenges Pinkie again and again, being defeated each time despite even more and more practice and study. Until one day when Pinkie refuses to play her again, pointing out that Dash has made herself miserable over a GAME. "Games are supposed to be fun!" Talking Dash out of her obsession, Pinkie reveals that the joke character is actually a Lethal Joke Character, and invites Dash to play again - for fun only.

Someone who is supposed to have dexterious fingers would be difficult to meaningfully ponify. It might be okay if we include other creatures than ponies.

unicorn horns are spiraled, a skilled (read ridiculous) combatant could control multiple wires across it's length and 'switch fingers' by moving wires up and down. The proximity of these actions to their performer's face could make them quite striking in their own right.
