Milk in a bag!
With a drinking straw poked in it!
So you can drink out of the bag!
With carrots and fried chicken!

Ok, we don't have that. If you buy fast-food milk, it comes in a carton, and doesn't taste as good as the bagged milk.

Re: Serpentine's Secretly Sapphic Salacious Sacrarium of Random Banter #180
No, bagged milk comes by the litre, and you stick it in a pitcher and cut off one corner. I mean, that's milk in a bag, but it's not BAGGED MILK.
And, see, in Canada, One Pierogi, two Pierogies. Or Perogi/Perogies. There you go, there's the difference. Canadian Perogies are pluralated differently!
Also sucks to be Polish, the Ukrainians have'em too.

Re: Serpentine's Secretly Sapphic Salacious Sacrarium of Random Banter #180
There's bagged milk by the massive quantity in the USA, too. Or, at least, there is in Pennsylvania. I've never seen it this far south, personally.
That individual serving of bagged milk looks like a hassle. One would think they'd have gone with a Capri Sun style pouch or something.Cobra Avatar by the lovely Miss Nobody.

Here, no matter how they're cooked, they're called perogies. Generally, you don't even have the first i in there, actually.
Also apparently ginger beef, generally found in chinese restaurants across the continent, was invented in Canada.
Makes sense. After all, Chow Mein was invented in America!

Western Washington is totally obsessed with our Native American history. Considering we (including the other parts of the Oregon territory) were settled so much later than everywhere else, it makes sense.

Absolutely denied. And regularly hinted at, because I'm so insecure that I feel I have to try and act memetic just so y'all wont forget about me.Spoiler: This signature is a historical relic from a long-ago time of regular forum activity.Aww man! You...cut out a letter? And you pluralize that which is already plural?
*breaks down sobbing*
Noooooooooooo! Pierogi, what have those strange Anglo-linguistic people done to you!? What crime did you commit to deserve this? This is just so...tragic. This is almost as bad as what they did to our beloved friend kiełbasa.

Re: Serpentine's Secretly Sapphic Salacious Sacrarium of Random Banter #180
... ok, clearly I can't read you either. My also apologies.
Yeah, you really can get perogies at chinese-canadian restaurants. Note: Chinese-Canadian restaurants are different from Chinese restaurants. One is "food just like you get in China", the other is "food my granddad cooked when he first came to Canada in the late 19th century", which includes chinese, faux-chinese, steak, burgers, perogies, and all kinds of other normal canadian foods.

<huggles>
None, although funnily enough, my dad speaks Flemish.
Noop.
Does Baroness Von EvilKitty include a Disney villain's name? I don't think so.
<hugs> Thank you. Although I'm never going to try playing someone like Bast after this. It's so hard to have a developed character when you're basically playing a loose cannon.
Heh, really? Thanks.Spoiler: This signature is a historical relic from a long-ago time of regular forum activity.Aww man! Even all the witty self referencing sigs are gone now!

Re: Serpentine's Secretly Sapphic Salacious Sacrarium of Random Banter #180
Okay... Did I at least get the country right?
I.e: Is the language in question spoken in Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Romania, Latvia, Russia, Italy, Denmark or Sweden?
(Ruthenian and Romani are a bit hard to pin down to one or two countries.)
Also, I apologise if these questions are prying, but it's an intriguing mystery.Mauve Shirt, Savannah, Gnomish Wanderer, Cuthalion and Smuchmuch get cookies for making me avatars. (::)

Re: Serpentine's Secretly Sapphic Salacious Sacrarium of Random Banter #180
Admittedly, that's not the wisest decision, but I thought I'd at least get one continent out of the way before starting on another.
There are something like seven thousand languages out there after all.
And besides, I'm also attempting to use what little other clues there are to guide me in my investigation.Mauve Shirt, Savannah, Gnomish Wanderer, Cuthalion and Smuchmuch get cookies for making me avatars. (::)
