"And you are not employed here, or perhaps elsewhere?" Nair's reaction to the cheerful smile can't really be discerned.

Andy nods, taking the offered hand and motioning for her friend to lead the way.

Nirva leads her to an alcove.
Hey, wanna talk about how you're doing?
Normally she's kind of distant from... all her friends, basically, especially the ones she used to sleep with. But now she's so... close! Aw!

Andy sighs, looking down. "I just want to hug her, you know? But everyone says that wouldn't help and I'd probably grow a dagger or three from my spine. And they might even be right..."

I think they are right.
I know I'm not as good, but you can hug me if you want.
She gives her about as good a smile as she can give people any more.

Andy smiles back, and pulls her friend into a tight, happy hug!

She hugs back.
I'll admit I missed this.

"Me too," Andy whispers, making no move to let go anytime soon.

Nirva rubs her back.
I'm sorry I've been so... me lately.

"It's alright," Andy murmurs, the bard's eyes fluttering closed with a soft noise of happiness.

Aaaaand sorry for uh.
Sort of.
Dumping you really abruptly when I did.
... I'm going to keep having things to apologize for, aren't I?
She keeps doing kind of jerky things sooooo yeah.

"You know I forgave you long ago, right?" Andy says with a soft smile. "Just consider everything said "sorry" for and that I said "apology accepted" to everything, alright?"

[Beans]

Aw, thanks.
She smiles, blushing a tiny, tiiiny bit, ears tantalizingly within reach.

And Andy can't resist giving those ears a quick scritching!

She makes a little noise.

"Making people happy is why I exist," Andy declares, as she keeps up the scritching with a smile.

She relaxes into Andy's arms, purring quietly.

And Andy will keep scritching for just as long as she wants.

"And scritching kitty ears is a proven stress-reducer," Andy adds with a giggle.

"Well, Tiri and I are kinda...sharing quarters sometimes, but I'm not really steady with anyone right now..."
