This update makes it official - Mookie can't tell the difference between tentacles and earthworms.

Tentacles need to be ATTACHED to something, no? Look at the ones draped over TIM's right arm (left side of the pic for us) especially, those really don't look like they're attached to anything. And all of the tentacles also seem limp and dead. Can't he at least make them appear to be somewhat animated? Or are they supposed to just be dead lumps of flesh?

And for someone who's supposedly been in a tentacle coccoon, TIM's remarkably clean and pristine, and his hair is in perfect order. Can't he at least be a little gooey or something? Lucky thing none of those tentacles got stuck or damaged on those gauntlet blades, too...

    *sigh*

Also, 5) Hasn't it been foreshadowed that TIM and Nimmel should show down? Or is Mookie going to conveniently forget that too?

TIM might get defeated a few times. He's the only thing in the comic even resembling a threat and Mookie has to get as much out of that as he can.

More than once, the backlash of his battle in bartis or wherever against celesto had a fairly massive death toll. He killed bumper, stole the necklace, pissed off karnak, and generally has done quite a bit. Especially compared to most deegan enemies. One arc and done.

You know, from this list, Stunt killed #1, stabed #3, survived #4 and challenged #5, and lived to see the day. And now he fights #2.

Urban Eddie really was the best villain the comic has ever had. He was actually somewhat threatening, his douchebaggery was believable, he didn't have a sob story, he wasn't a previously non-villainous character forced into a villain role, and he wasn't subsequently completely ruined.

He slit TIM's throat WAAAAAY back at the start of the comic. It didnt take, but still. Stunt is a surprisingly badass fighter now that i think of it. Hell, he has even stabbed dominic at least once.

Donovan only has a sword to protect himself. All his defensive maneuvers hinge on his opponent being deterred from having a pointy bit of metal stuck in them. That won't do a thing to slow down TIM.

Or it wouldn't if Mookie suddenly going all super anime isn't a likely possibility, with Donovan spontaneously developing an ability to sword whip sonic booms.

They also hinge on using said pointy bit of metal to deflect and/or block whatever attacks timmy launches at him. His position isnt that good, dont get me wrong, but he is better off than stunt should be.

Also, im expecting exploding shadow clone jutsu. They arent really there, its an illusion trap spell. Miranda likes using them. Tim will gut stunt and kablooey!

Maybe Donovan has borrowed one of those anti-magic swords from that Angelo guy?

I'm not entirely sure how it would help him, but in a previous arc the logic seemed to be "Anti-Magic Sword + Non-Magic User = OH NOES THATS DRAMA!!!" so there's no reason why it couldn't be applied again.

Hell, he has even stabbed dominic at least once.
Yeah, and because he bungled it (Dominic survived, afterall), look what it got us - SuperGreg, and then Maltak.

It only hinges on that if TIM isn't willing to just walk up and let Donovan stab him, and at the time time just claws his eyes out. The reason deflections and blocks work is because the other person isn't willing to just step in and take it.

That makes him more of a tragic hero. He tried, and he failed. Luna is the true criminal, she kept Stunt from doing what is right.
I hope for an arc where Stunt goes to the Desert-Inn to LIVE and drink, and Punchy shows him the wrongness of his ways and how he can redeem himself. (It will include punching)

Well, it appears we have a question on our hands: will Celesto cure himself of his insanity and join Team Deegan, whereupon they'll instantly forgive him, or will the Deegans continue to abuse him until his wretched existence is finally extinguished?

On one hand, it's clear that Mookie sees him as a villain not worthy of redemption. On the other hand, him joining the side of the King and I Eyes would need an explanation even more contrived than usual. I'm going to place my bets on Celesto making a Heroic Sacrifice in favor of the Deegans, so that he can be useful to them without them having to dirty their hands by actually thanking him.
