Ashe charge and lunge at the riding hobgoblin. His fullblade sink deeply in the monster flesh, making him shake in pain. The elf pull back and the monster have to follow with his mount.
Bolerum run in and defy the 25 goblins. Some seem unerved by the human boast, but many seem resolute and ready for battle.
The new patroll goblin rider drive his mount toward the heroes, then rise his stone hammer and order his troops,
"Nort, juer tho, nui muss sthel. Muer nar ul!"
The bloodied hobgoblin pursued by the heroes yell back,
"Nok'th buer slom! Mya mous ther."

"Jaul nik buer slom kud."

Re: [4E] Grandpre Academy, Group 2, Part 3 (IC)
DM
The vistani stroll forward and summon his stone blood magic again. The still unbalance enemies cannot resist the assault and both get hurt again by the magic.
The spear and shield goblin from the new patroll follow their leader order and move forward, some run, some simply walking. One of the goblins put the horn to his mouth and blow a code again that you recognise at the one warning about the "ear slicers".
Monique, seeing the two goblin in front of her in full flight, turn her mount around and ride hard toward her allies to support them. As she goes, seeing a large group of enemies, she revert her armor from the clothing to bonemail.
The goblin fleeing to the north keep going and you loose sight of them now.
Seeing that he cannot outrun Ashe and seeing allies coming to help him, the hobgoblin leader stop his mount and turn around slashing at AShe with his longsword. As he swing, he let out a sheirking cry, but Ashe nimbly dodge under the swing.
The goblin fighter square keep their advance in grouped formation, shield up front locked side by side in a impressive coordination for a bunch of goblins who usually are more disorganised.
The group of archer also move forward a little but stop at some point and all pull their bow, shooting a rain of arrow toward Ashe. The arrows fly all around the elf , but seeing them come, the elf duck behind the tree, making them miss.

Re: [4E] Grandpre Academy, Group 2, Part 3 (IC)
Rikard
If there was one thing Rikard hated about the goblinkin more than anything, it was the smell of them. He could catch wind of them from all the way over by the tree. It was a nauseating smell of urine, feces, blood, sweat, and the natural goblin odor. Rikard hated goblins. Still, his ears heard the sound of fighting, and soon, he could see the battle unfurling before him. He couldn't see who they were fighting, but he could hear human voices and could see the goblin scout. If his instincts were correct, then there was going to be another charge before this battle was over. Then he heard the horns sounding, and he knew that things were bound to get worse before they got better. "Come on men! We need to hurry before the Grobi here have a chance to fall on them with their wickedness." Rikard hefted his large shield, emblazoned with his family's crest and pointed his hammer at the goblin scout on the hill. "We take that hill, and then we will crash down on the grobi scum like an avalanche." The dwarven and human warriors with him all yelled in salute and then they took off running.
As Rikard hustled in his armor, his dwarven warriors and human scouts dutifully followed him. He was taller than the humans and as wide as the dwarves. Rikard was a mountain of a man, thick shouldered and he possessed incredibly thick arms. His armor was incredibly well crafted of overlaying plates of armor sitting on top of a chainmail undercoat. His shield was as big as a window, with the crest of a hammer, an axe, and a pickaxe crossed over a mountain. It shone brightly in the sunlight, and it appeared to weigh quite a bit. Rikard himself was also big, and his red hair was held back my a cloth bandana. He didn't have a beard of any kind, though stubble was already growing on his face. He didn't seem to have any scars, but his hard green eyes looked ready for the fight, even seeming to relish it.
As Rikard charged, he pointed with a massive hammer, spiked on one end and flat on the other. It was carved with a beautiful relief of a dwarf and a man shaking hands on one side, and fighting back to back on the other. It was larger than a regular warhammer, but Rikard wielded it like it was a dagger. It fit his hand, and he was the one who adjusted it so it would. "Grimazulagrund" The Unyielding Hammer. It was his sacred birthright to wield, and so far, it had not failed him, nor had he failed it. Weapons made by the dwarves are different from other weapons. They have a history, an honor, and a sense of purpose different from other weapons. This hammer was a relic of his family's unity with the dwarves of Rocville, and he bore it with the highest pride a warrior could have with his weapon.
As Rikard drew close to the fighting, he could see the paladin and his mighty blade. Rikard, making a snap judgement, decided to circle the hill, and crush the enemy from behind, while the fearsome paladin and his comrades held the front. IF they held the front. Rikard would have to see. With his warriors at his back, Rikard prepared to crash into the goblins like a hammer on an anvil.

Ashe take a few moments to analyse the enemy troops movements.
The goblin weilding the stone mace guide his mount a little west to get a clear line with Bolerum and lower his hammer toward the ground. You all see some dark magic flow from the mace into the ground, then a few seconds later dark energy roots errupt from the ground grasping at Bolerum. The paladin was ready for anything and have no trouble sidesteping to dodge the roots.

DM
Antione counter the goblin cursers magic with his own. His attack is way more efficient that the one from the enemy, and he end up killing the goblin fighter and slow down the leader and his mount.
Bolerum challenge the goblin enemy squad and charge them. With one strik of his weapon, he behead one of the 8 goblins. The trained squad immediatly react and one of the goblins in the back row takes the fallen one place. Now that he is adjacent to the enemies, they start to agressively launch attacks forcing Bolerum to parry here and there puting his a little of balance.

Whirling around Greenbane, Bolerum lashes out savagely at the cluster of goblins. Glowering at the goblin on the hill, he growls "You'll fall next!"
SpoilerFar from optimal, but that goblin swarm has to die.
Minor: Activate Greenbane's Aura. UENT, Bolerum has an aura 2 granting him and allies within a +3 to attacks against orcs and goblins.
Standard: Arc of Vengeance. (d20+16)[5](21) vs GSG1 AC for (2d10+12)[17] damage. Note that this is a burst 1 attack against a swarm.
SpoilerHit: 2[W] + Strength modifier (+3) radiant damage.
Miss: Half damage.
Effect: The target is subject to your divine sanction
until the end of your next turn. If the target was
already marked by you, it also takes radiant damage
equal to your Wisdom modifier (+1) whenever it deals
damage to you or any ally (save ends).
Move (If GTG1 is dead): Walk to P-15; (Otherwise): Shift to K-10.

Spoiler
The blue ground is swampy ground (difficult terrain that if a creature end any turn on make a grab attempt).
The darker shades represent slopes as a topographic map. Each black shade represent a rise of 5 feets.
The number of square between shade changes represent how steep the slope is.SpoilerAs exemple, the slope in G13 have the 3 shade in one square, making it a 15 feet wall to climb. On the other hand, from N13, to I13, the same 15 feet is done over 6 squares (30 feet) which make it an easy slope you can walk up to.
As a basic rule, if there is at least one square between a chade change, you can walk it without penalty.
The Brown circles are trees and can grant cover.
The brown fallen tree (weird form in G20) grant cover and concealment. It also block passage unless you succeed a DC 15 Acrobatic or Atheltic check and even there, it counts as difficult terrain (Blue shade).
The rubbles (D12) on the map are difficult terrain (Yellow shade).
Bushes on the map grant concealment and count as difficult terrain.

HDS are hobgoblin with longsword and chainmail
DGC are goblin with stone mace
DGW are goblin with various one handed weapon
