As Marty speaks to Jamie, the rolling onion catches Marty's slightly slanted blue eyes. He raises his blonde eyebrows and points a gloved hand, exposing his wrist to Jamie. It's...gotten worse there. Now there's several big, red, bulging cuts. Marty's been in some trouble. He quickly covers it when he realizes Jamie could see them. He then begins to walk over to the onion, leaving Jamie. Marty will attempt to softly touch the onion with soft, black, velvet gloves. Marty either thinks this is one of Vifalia's onions, or more of his worsening delusions. Um...h-hello? L-Little onion? You...y-you real?

Jasmine slowly stands up, and then glides out toward the camp. She's made her bones hollow and all that, so she glides farther than a human would... but she still doesn't make it too far. She flaps a bit, but she can't gain any height.

Salix climbs down from the tree quickly and hurries over to join Jasmine. "Oh hey, you can glide. Can you glide farther if you make them bigger?" She suggests the first idea that pops into her head.

Jasmine turns back into a little bird flies back up to the tree. She has no trouble flying back like that!

Salix watches from the bottom this time. She's determined to figure out how Jasmine can fly like Yuki somehow. Even if they have to work at it all day!

The onion jumps with a squeak as Marty tries to touch it. It rolls away as fast as it can. Which isn't terribly fast, though faster that a typical onion, I'm sure. I imagine it to move fast enough you have to almost run to catch it.

Another flight goes better, and further, but still not real flight. Perhaps there is something that they are missing, or not doing quite right... Jasmine immediately flies back up to the tree as a little bird and sits there for a bit, tweaking her wings slightly.

Salix walks over to stand at the base of the tree and peer upward. Unfortunately, if they need to do something different, it's unlikely Salix will figure it out. "What else can you try?"

Mackerel nods and tries to get some sleep.

Marty smiles nervously, adjusting his shiny cloak. Oh! A-Alright, you w-want to h-head to her c-cabin? It's n-nice t-to see you again. L-Lead the w-way?

One of them may notice an onion rolling toward the forest near the lake.

Marty is easily able to keep up, and so the onion stops. As Marty comes closer, the onion is trembling. And then.... Sppppbbbtt!! It explodes into a white gooey mess. If they look at where the onion was, they'll find a little red garnet.

Chasing Onions

Marty pauses as it trembles. He frowns, and then it explodes! Oh noes! Gah! J-Jamie! I...I th-think I broke it! Ah! He'll move and pick up the garnet, inspecting it.

[Main Cabin]

Slouched in a chair is Kitty. She is a young woman with somewhat short red hair and tanned skin. She's wearing a pink tank top and some loose, beige shorts. Peeking out from behind her are three fox tails that match the colour of her hair.

The kitsune looks somewhat ill and tired, but she's alert enough. She doesn't look like she plans on going anywhere soon, however.

I'M SURE THERE AREN'T ENOUGH PLOT CLONES YET.

As can be evidenced by human sniper Reinholdt making his way out of the kitchen. Must of recently restocked on basic tasteless non-smurf blood. Ugh. It's like vampire celery.

He pauses in his exit though.
"Hello. You ok?" He asks Kitty.

"Oh hi." Kitty sits up straighter and tries not to look quite as pathetic as she feels. Boy is he cute. Sure the eyes are weird, but still. "I'm just feeling kind of sick. Stomach is bothering me." She neglects to mention that it's morning sickness.

[Reinholdt]

[Main Cabin]

Silly Kitty. Don't you remember why you got morning sickness in the first place?

"Oh. I'm sorry. Do you need any water or anything?" Reinholdt offers.

You'd think so, wouldn't you?

Kitty gives him a smile and nods. "That would be great, thanks. Just a small glass would be fine." She says.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt nods and heads back into the kitchen to get some water. Nice filtered water even, not the tap stuff. Before coming back with the glass.

"Here you go." He offers it to her.

"I'm Reinholdt, Treasure Hunter Extraordinaire." Reinholdt gives his flourish. Only after the glass is taken of course. "I don't believe we've met."

"I don't think we have. I'm sure I'd remember you if I did." Kitty takes a sip of her water. A twinge from her stomach reminds her of how bleh she feels. "My name's Kitty. No fancy title for me I'm sorry to say."

"Kitty?" Reinholdt raises an eyebrow and tilts his head to look at her fox tails some.

"You're not some twisted alternate future Tobias gender bent spawn are you?" The one where Tobias/Rein fanfictions go too far.

Kitty blushes and her tails twitch mostly out of sight. "Uh, no? I'm not exactly sure what you mean." She'd be more puzzled if she wasn't so embarrassed. "I'm definitely gonna stick with 'no' for my answer."

[Reinholdt]

"Fair enough." Reinholdt admits, his gaze lingering a little longer before returning to her face.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Kitty. What brings you to GLoG?"

"Uh, well, I'm living here for a while. Just getting some help and stuff, you know?" Kitty says. It's not entirely a lie. Just glossing over a few major details. He doesn't need to know the entire truth anyway.

[Reinholdt]

"Oh no. I get it. I'm here for pretty much the same reason." Reinholdt says with a nod.

"They're trustworthy here, if a bit... special at times."

[Gullara]

Kitty giggles a little. "Yeah, they've been great so far. I'm not usually one for staying in one place for too long, but I like it here. So how long have you been here?" She doesn't ask why he's there, since she's not keen on answering the same question herself.

[Reinholdt]

Well he already told her why. Clearly he's pregnant too.

"Ummm... I'm not sure. A... couple of years maybe? Are you counting the times I actually lived in GLoG, only pretended to live in GLoG or been in the Nexus entirely?" Reinholdt's never been one for keeping track of time.

[Gullara]

"This was a lot more complicated than I expected." Kitty says amusedly. "Let's go with how long you've lived in GLoG. But now I'm wondering how you managed to pretend to live here."

[Reinholdt]

[Main Cabin]

"Not the most shining moments of my life." Reinholdt rubs the back of his neck. If one of the most impactful.

"Hmmm... it'd have to be after the Glas..." Reinholdt trails off. He's starting to regret this conversation at all. "Nearly three years in a few months. You?"

"Couple weeks or so." Though she apparently hasn't been around other people much because of player business. "You'll probably be seeing a lot of me around here in the future." Her tone is just a bit suggestive.
