Adalhard brings the teapot over a dish to the table and pours Ilya some tea and adds some milk to it.

He pats her on the head and sighs.

He then looks at Felix and Juniper's arriving.

"Sorry for making such a set up, I may have arrived slightly early... or rather late and wanted to surprise you.

Would you rather have tea or coffee?"

Ilya nods, and sips of her tea.

Felix says "No, no, it's ok. I was going to make us all some breakfast myself, but thanks. I'd like some coffee, myself" Felix says, sitting down and pulling the seat next to her out for Juniper. In a lower voice, she'll say "..and..I'm sorry. You know, for..your loss."

Adalhard goes to prepare coffee

"It's the least I could do as the late-coming guest. And thanks."

He brings a cup to Felix and an empty one for Juniper as well as two others with respective saucers.

As he serves Juniper tea.

"You are welcomed. I did mention I was going for some mundane purchases along with Ilya and visiting some shrines to which I was due."

He sits.

"And, as I suspected, time was too short and when we reached the Cathedral I couldn't bear the thought of roaming the streets back at such hours with my daughter so we stayed praying in the Cathedral throughout the night as I said I'd do if I wasn't here by midnight."

He takes a sip of tea.

"Whilst I can wear the same clothing for extended periods of time, if only because military outfit is designed for such, making her do so would be considered child abuse. I also got her her first staff, if only for her to get used to the feel of it and the channeling of energy. Not much else except perhaps getting myself something to cover my eye instead of the scarf I use and producing further batches of Syringa for her at the Cathedral."

Juniper sits beside Felix and sips the tea, nodding at Adalhard. May I ask, who is Ilya? You did not have her with you when we entered the Shadowfell. How did you come by her?

Teodor soon follows afterward. He lets out a small whistle "Well, looks like someone's been busy. What's with the eyepatch?" he says, before sitting next to Bast.

As Bast and Teodor enter.

"Good morning Teodor, Miss. Halfcrescent."

He looks at Teodor.

"I DO have 2 hours more of activity than you. And it's mainly to cover the abomination that my right eye has become and to prevent further bleeding from it."

You're unsure, since this isn't a thing you know MUCH about. You'd assume that since this split is un natural, if The Wolf died, Carric might absorb the rest of his soul, as it where. Just a guess, though.

After an hour or two, Elden enters the room. He isn't looking all too awake.

Good morning, everyone. I see you got my message, Adalhard.

He makes a faint smile, and goes to sit down by the table. He serves himself a large cup of tea and pours a large spoonfull of honey (or sugar, if there is no honey) into it. Supporting his head in his left hand, he absentmindedly mixes the honey (or sugar) into the brew with his right index finger. Soon, the tea starts to boil in the cup, upon which he'll pull back his finger, rub it off on a napkin, take the cup and down it all in one go.

He then pours up another cup and put another spoonfull of honey (or sugar) in it, this time letting the spoon remain in the cup, whereafter he leans back studies Adalhard, looking slightly more awake as the heat jumpstarts his system.

So, what's the occation?

"Commander Theolon is planning a public speech; a big event in the middle of the street, probably blaming the Caissans for the plant, isn't he?"

Felix looks at Adalhard with some surprise "Y-yes, he is intending to throw a speech today. However...I don't know if he's going to say the Cult of Caissa caused the plant. I do know, though, that..." Felix takes a deep breath "He's going to ask you all to come on stage, so he can show the city the heroes responsible for saving it"

"He's had several attempts on his life on the last pair of days, a whole invasion against his HQ and even uninformed civilians know where and what he intends to do.

Asterion has a contingent of ranged mages, of considerable power from what we've seen. The Caissan King has just acquired a Winged Sword. Jarod is not exactly favouring the Draugen and this is going to be on the streets.

Why is he doing this?"

"It won't be from the streets. We have men setting up our stage right now. We've got some of our top men guarding every rooftop we can, and we'll have others hidden in the crowd. We've done this before, and everyone who's tried to cause a riot in the crowd was handled before he could do anything. Those who tried to assassinate Commander Theolon were handled more...personally. He does it as a show of force. Showing the populace that Draugen are strong. That we can fight back againest this tide of evil and save this city!" Felix answers, voice raising a bit near the end, seemingly out of pride.

Inside are the organized scribblings on a base alchemical formula. It lists several variations for the inclusion of addictive and hallucinogenic effects in terms of given components and plants. As side notes are the formulas for the Schnefeldstil Syringa and the Lacrimae Cassandrium underneath their respective titles and the listing of their effects. It has the mark of Schenefeldstil, Naryshkin and his own at the bottom next to a bad scribbling of his name.
