No worries; I expect any reviews of mine to take a while and I don't know how important experience with homebrew design is for critiquing it. I'm taking a look at yours right now; I need to head to bed, but at a first glance Bluydee is right (but I have some ideas to fix the MAD) and I'm kind of allergic to smites/day.

I'll probably have something written up for yours later today. I'm not sure how later. It's very, very interesting although somethings are missing important mechanical details, which is pretty much my only gripe.

Hey guys, I'll look backwards through this thread when I can, but for now I'd like a second pair of eyes.

My favorite class from the 3.X/PF series was by far the Summoner, and I wanted to try and bring it forward into 5th Edition. I still have a ways to go with tuning (and pruning), but given the class' architecture I couldn't make it a sub-class. Link is in my signature, and this text here. In addition, the link within that thread is always my most up-to date version, so I'll go back and update the thread tonight.

Right now my biggest concerns are: 1) Too much health, 2) Eidolon complexity, 3) Eidolon power level, 4) Thematics

Not sure what the custom is, personally I think insight for insight or effort for effort is good.

There certainly is a lot of information, but your ideas are appreciated whatever you choose to explore and evaluate.

If you want to critique the balance of some things or evaluate/suggest mechanics for things we don't have the most useful thing would be to check out either our upcoming content or our newest content.

I'll check out your Skald class if you check out one of the 'brews in my sig (I've got a Knight fix and a revamp of the Weapon system; the latter is considerably larger and more complex).

Assuming they're allready formatted, just use the editors WYSIWYG mode, top right button above bold should do it. Then paste your stuff in. How i did mine, now if only i could get feedback. GL with that .

lol, lots and lots of typing is the only answer, many of the core concepts from my own system have been kicking about my head for close to a decade, but only just found the time to write them up.

If your looking for formatting idea's, take a gander over mine even if you don't want to post any feedback on the mechanics themselves it could help you get an idea of how to break things up. Depends a lot on the specifics of the rules though as to how to do it.
