My role has random targets. Similarly to the one i suggested... But anyway, I don't get a choice in the matter, AND I didn't use it. Because I wasn't on the forum.

That makes sense, it would be an unfair advantage for that person. So if he's not forced to do it, what could it be? Maybe he's trying to contact his team this way?

Day 1

Everyone woke, then looked at each other suspiciously. For hours, not a word was spoken, everyone going about their day in silence, picking up branches for a fire, doing yoga, rolling dice.

Then, someone began playing a piano, which startled everyone. How'd you get a piano up here? Eternis asked. But the piano player just shrugged and continued playing with one hand, the other busy pointing else where.

Eternis shrugged after a moment, and turned to go back to what he was doing, only to find four people staring at him. And what'd you do last night? asked one of them.

I, uh, I didn't do anything. I wasn't even here.

Wasn't here, huh? Well, I remember you coming with us. Where'd you go?

I, uh, I... Eternis swallowed, then held his breath and closed his eyes. Soon he began to swell up and grow in size. He even began to change colors.

Soon, his new shape became evident. He was a big blue and pink dragon. And with a huff, he flapped his wings and flew away.

Description: Buff the Bubble Dragon, lived off the Green.

Abilities

Every other night, can place half the players inside a bubble (Randomly selected, though you get to choose which side of the bubble you're on.). Only those inside the bubble can affect each other, and those outside can only affect others outside. The only exception.... Night Kills.

Night 1

Once again, everyone went to sleep that night. Not much had been resolved during the day. The owners of this hellish land only worked for themselves. Collecting food, timber, water, all for themselves. On the bright side, it hand't yet fallen into fighting among each other, but each was wondering when it would happen, not if.

They went to sleep, not hungry, thirsty, nor freezing as they had the previous night. And then.....

Music!

Everyone sat up, their heart racing. Back you foul beast!! someone shouted in the distance. And they could hear the swishing of a blade, followed by footsteps running past.

At first everyone huddled quietly in the darkness, hoping that they wouldn't be the next to fall. A short distance away, the struggle continued. So slowly, they began to stick their heads out.

With a full moon shining its brightness down on the fighters, everyone could see who it was. Istari, wearing a cape and a half-mask, was fending off a great beast with a sword. No one was sure where the music was coming from.

Istari swiped with the blade, slashing at the chest of the creature. The creature staggered to one knee, giving Istari a chance to plunge his sword deep into the beast's chest. But it was a trick, and the beast avoided the death stroke, and instead tackled the man to the ground.

And that was the end. The others ducked back into the "safety" of their tents, and prayed the beast's hunger had been satisfied.

Team Neutral: Phantom

Description: Hailing from the Paris Opera House, the Phantom plans on ensuring that his opera will be done, no matter who he has to go through to have that happen.

Abilities

Once every 2 nights, the Phantom may use one of his cunning methods to bring his opera closer to reality.

Secret Passage: Day Bane self (1 time use only.) A lynch attempt doesn't have to happen for this to be used successfully.

Mirror Room: (Twice Needed) Target must repeat last thing they posted instead of something new.

Punjab Lasso: (Thrice Needed) Forces the target to be silent for a day and a night.

The Phantom needs to use the Mirror Room twice, the Punjab Lasso thrice, and the Secret Passage before he can attempt the last method.

Don Juan Triumphant: Narrator rolls die, if even nothing, if odd Phantom has fulfilled his victory condition and leaves.

Secondary Role: The Prince

Description: The Prince wants to marry The Princess, and hates The Frog.

Abilities

Each night, he dashingly defends one player; they have a 50% chance of being protected from all negative actions against them that night. If the Prince defends the Princess, she falls in love with him and they become lovers, and his bane becomes 100% effective.

But if he targets the Frog, he kills his rival.

If the Princess and the Frog find each other first, he becomes the Vengeful Prince; he loses his bane and his new goal is to kill off the happy couple. He targets one player each night, and if that player is the Frog or the Princess, the couple is killed.

Victory condition: Use Don Juan Triumphant successfully, before the Princess or the Frog are found by each other.

The Princess is now a Neutral player and wins when The Phantom Prince wins.

or

Must kill the Happy Couple, before he can use Don Juan Triumphant.

If I'm honest I'm not sure. The Norse God thing had me wondering. Perhaps he's just watched Thor lately? But then why the "no comment" to Matthias' questions? Perhaps a secret role?


Side note: for the Phantom to win with Don Juan Triumphant he needs to stay alive for a minimum of 12 nights. Is that even possible in a game this size?

Well, apologies to Istari. You did punjab lasso me but still, I wanted to see the prince get more play than that.

You see, my contribution to the game was the prince-princess-frog triangle. It's been altered a bit, and clearly the princess is town (or wolf?) now ("becomes neutral" being the key phrase) and I don't know about the frog. And I also don't know how either of your win conditions may have changed, but it's probably still in both of your best interest to meet each other. If you want, I'll act as a third party and put you two in contact. Because I'm a nice guy and I'm rooting for you.

The exact specifics are long and complicated, but the short version is that it ended up necessary for the lords of the court to exile one of their subordinates to block our rivals' ploy. I volunteered to serve my liege by becoming an exile.

As for job skills, I am a skilled floutist, I can read and write in most languages people have heard of, including French, Italian, German, Spanish, Gaelic, English, and Latin. I also have experience organizing a household and maintaining a staff in proper working order so that the lord in charge may spend time on more important matters. I am well-trained in court and dinner etiquette and am skilled at holding small conversation. I have impeccable penmanship and can write calligraphy passing well. I can recite poetry and can memorize new ones quickly. I also know a few minor rituals and cantrips to make living just a little bit more convenient."
