I agree we should specify their use of their High Priests as conduits for their voice (e.g., "Odin (through Odin High Priest)"), or if we want to throw in a LotR reference, as "Mouth of (god name)" (e.g., "Odin (as Mouth of Odin)"). But I believe it is fairly clear that the yellow speech bubbles indicate that what we hear is the god's voice, not that of the High Priest.

edit: I have just realised the high Priest of mani was seen in 985, 997 (when i thought it was a female) and 998 and 999 (when i thought it was a male).

1.) There is a small chance we have seen the god Fenrir before in 946. I understand this will be ignored unless evidence comes forward.

2.) Where does High Priest of Freyr get his blue +1?

3.) Odin got an appearance in the last panel of 998 (using the rules applied in 999).

4.) I hope the High Priest of Tyr will not declare war on us for not giving him so much as a headline entry. I suspect he is chaotic so saying "rules are rules" may not help that much. On the other hand hitting out first is usually tactically bad, so if we sit very still we might be okay.

You know I only just figured out in the last few strips that not only do the gods have this aura but they are color coded by pantheon. You can see it in 453.

Thanks. I have been proven fairly conclusively wrong on Fenrir. I had no way of knowing whether Odin's extra appearance had been counted, except that it clearly wasn't when 998 first came out. So only one mistake ot of that lot is pretty impressive.

Found a minor error while checking the list during a reread of BRitF: the "EoB Soldiers in the Inn" are currently listed as having two appearances. However, while the human soldier only appears in Comics 728 and 730, the lizardfolk soldier also appears in Comic 731, presenting his papers to the police. They should probably be split instead of being tracked as a single entity.

But the vampire is right there, and that is the most commonly accepted form for Trigak.
Maybe you meant that the half-orc bodyguard is Spiky? Although I doubt Laurin would be all the way on the Northern continent.

So, back when strip 800 came out, Wrecan expanded the number of characters who got smilies in the OP from 30 to 40. He said that when we reach strip 1000, he would consider changing it so that the first 50 characters have smilies in the OP.

If I remember my thinking from back when--even if it's not a wound, it's an after-effect of Malack's attack. Therefore, it's not necessarily a piece of Malack (or an appearance for him), any more than a burn from a Vaarsuvius fireball would be.
