So I remember Marty running out of a window to get away. Zane, who was disguised at the time I seem to remember, just tried to stop him from murdering Nort. All the stabbing was to get him to stop Marty who wasn't stopping despite stabbings and burning. I'm still not sure how Marty put together random disguised guy and Zane toghether. Oh well.

Also yeah I would vote Marty eviler then Enshadu. Mainly because of the descions he made to become more and more evil. At least since I have been seeing any of his actions.

Zane gave him a boot out. Marty recognized Zane due to his unique magical aura. It's easy to recognize someone who uses the greatest pyromantic spells in the Nexus.

And yes, Marty is going to be attempting to go further...

Marty flails, stabbing Nort again and again, bloodying his coat. Then he's stabbed in the shoulder. Ow, pain. Marty shrieks in pain and recoils from Nort. He shrieks then as Thatcher's fearblaze courses through Marty's body and his face suddenly catches on fire. Marty then runs as fast as he can, his skin burning, before crashing through the glass window and falling down off the two story tavern, before disappearing into Inside, screaming loudly.

Also this was the first post in that scene where Fearblaze was mentioned. His attacks just looked like knife throwing from what he wrote. So I guess if you can regonize magic aura's without the user using any magic it is easy to tell anyone apart. Not that it really matters to me, I was just a bit confused.

Well, that knife was an atheme. It channels the wielders magical power. The fire was fearblaze. Fearblaze is unique. A problem with using the most powerful fire magic, is that you're recognizable when you use it.

I just figured since he was in disguise and that he didn't type that it was on fire he wouldn't use fearblaze percisely because it is so easy to regonize. I thought that was the whole point in disguising himself as Thatcher and used knifes instead of just making Marty explode into flames.

Mm. He had stated he was using Fearblaze. That's why it hurt Marty the most.

I just wanted to be clear about what happened in the scene since I was involved. Looking at the posts it looks nothing like what you have described. Just curious.

Well, Aric messaged me about what happened and what the fire was. We already had spoken what everything happened. The fire was fearblaze, explained what happened, and what was to happen later. The fire came through the knife and burnt him.

Good to know since Nort was semi-concious during the whole thing. I had figured he didn't really know that Zane had kidnapped him, but if he was using fearblaze he might put it together eventually. I only had the posts to go by so that was why I was confused.

Also I think that Third poked you to Inside for the Clock Tower. Here our the last two posts we had.

Nort nods thankful for Lawrence's intervention. Not so thankful to forget about the gun on the man's hip and the unsaid threats. Still at least he isn't getting any more brain surgery at the moment. "All right, I can try."

Also, I should probably do something with Riley. Now that his connection to Cthulhu is gone (along with his left arm and the mind/body stealing powers) and the bolt pistol and shield in his prosthetic arm disabled, he could possibly attempt to live the life of a somewhat normal child.

There used to be New Comic Syndrome, where the server would crash (and/or the forums would be turned off) for a time due to the rush of people reading the comic every time a new one came out. That got resolved a couple years back though. This was something completely new, different, and thirty-two flavours of annoying.
