Seiner giggles. Your hand's all cold... is that normal, or were you holding a... cold... thing a bunch?

A laugh from 99. "That's normal, though I was just holding a cold glass." It's right there on the bar, almost certainly visible. "Is there a word for any and all cold things? 'Freezer' is already taken...?"

She shrugs. I can't think of any... mind if I ask why your hand's all coldy?

[Recaiden]

Awkward shifty glance. "No. It's because I'm not properly alive."

[Beans]

Smile. "Thanks? It does?" All her sentences trail off like unfinished questions, but she seems to mean them sincerely. "Mind if I ask how?"

She hesitates. I'm... sort of... a vampire-ish... thing. You can't really tell right now, but...

[Recaiden]

"Oh! Not to worry? Like me. I mean, I am a vampire? That's the kind of not-alive that's happened to me?" 99 nods quickly. "You hide it well."

[Beans]

I'm... a very weird kind in comparison to your kind. She giggles nervously, then a sort of... stained-glass-like pattern briefly spreads up her neck to under her eyes before fading.
