Well said, as we witness the birth of a spine on Gary. May it be something that grows healthily over time and doesn't die or get crushed by some future plot.

Honestly, now that he has gotten so much chemistry with Sandra...I kinda want him to stay on as geek-mentor to her and potential love interest. It would be a satisfactory use of Gary's interests instead of "He's a geek, Geek's are weird, they have toys in their closet." kinda set up that is normally used in Ma3 jokes.

Huh? What comic are you reading...? The only thing I've seen since the break was Senna letting off some steam after getting dumped... well, and a few side comics but I didn't notice any backstory...

So...Dillon goes to all this work to set Ruby up on a date, then proceeds to be an intrusive and ****-blocking pain on said date? I know he was shallow and self-absorbed before moving into the spinoff, but was he always this malicious even at the cost of his own impending hookup? (It'd be a lot easier to hit on his boy there if they weren't flanking Ruby's date and if Ruby+Co. could get drunk and happy).

Well, he was all for setting her up on a date. And then the first thing the date does is present her with a sex item. I think the shift into over-protective by both him and his date is somewhat justified.

Yeah, it might be just a misunderstanding but if they think whatshisname is some jerk who only wants to get in Ruby's pants then it's okay for them to reign him in a bit.

Also @DC: Teddy is an idiot. I am seriously not sure if he will realize it when he takes off his underwear.

So, kinda called this plot turn in SotR, though it's not really that much of a guess.

Magical Chicks....I...This became a very dark action-drama rather quickly. I'm not quite sure what to think. I mean...I do like that the plot is going somewhere instead of just doing boyfriend cross-over stuff with EC. But...it's kinda jumped the shark is tone, and just left all the previous plot threads behind to become something very different.

Don't see how the crossover should confuse. He's the game developer behind the game that Sandra is gonna be the model for, who she publically embaressed and made by the studio to start the project from scratch almost.

I wouldn't call SDB strange turn. It's fairly standard three's company/Archie comics/rom-com stuff, just with the more adult twist of the Ma3-verse. Why shouldn't the inexperienced Ruby feel self-concious of her first serious date, where it seems like she's also being oogled by the public for dating three guys at once?

What I find potentially worse is that THIS will be what drives her to fix things with her man, and he will find out that it wasnt the fact she screwed up, it wasnt that she loves him, no, it was having to dress up as anime girls to use a band space that pushed her into trying to make up for her actions.
