R1T16: "More fighting," Sisir shakes his head. "Back into the fray, I suppose." He strides down the corridor and turns into the kitchen moving, shield and mace at the ready. As he passes his brother he fixes his gaze on the adjacent construct and swings his mace down, striking at its head. The creature deflects the block from the head, but the mace still glide way down to slam into its left upper leg for 16.

R1T15: Blue nicks Iluvar in his right upper arm for 3 with its short sword, steps back, and picks up its longsword.

End Round One, Begin Round 2 ...

R2T35: Myki does a quick study of Red (including applying something to her blade) before flying down directly behind it and stabbing it in a critical section of its back upper arm for 28 mod + sickened. Sisir's surprising stare still sleeps.

R2T21: Red spins around to face Myki and with spinning blades it is parried at every turn. With a riposte, Myki slaps her rapier into its foot, crumbling it, and the rest of the terra-cotta soldier falters and falls to the ground, shattering in many pieces.

R2T19: The Scribe zooms around the table to the other side, fails a fancy trip attempt, and steps back. He shrugs good-naturedly, nonplussed about missing.

R2T18: Iluvar, you are in Crane Style, but you have yet to begin attacks with which to gain benefit from it (with Defensive Stance). What do you do?

R2T18: Iluvar moves to engage the construct closest to him. He fights in a style where he seems he takes extra care to avoid attacks. His first attack is a left hand chop to what passes for a neck for 7; a right-hand downward hammer blow to its left forearm for 11. He continues his downward torque into a spinning crouch to come around with a knife-hand strike to its left shin for 14, and finishing off with a rising knife hand to the underside of its right wrist for 11 before returning at height to a chambered position.

He lashes out with the shield to smash the other stone guardian in the stomach for 40, and knocking it away from him. In doing so, Iluvar does a high knee strike to its upper left arm for 8. But the Scribe, also with a reach weapon, likewise strikes at Blue to strike it in the lower back destroying it!

S27: Akif thinks he sees something in the shadows at the end of the hall, squinting he is too late to respond when a figure erupts from the shadow on the other side of the walkway to shoot very wide at Akif. The winged archer seems less hostile and more upset or beleaguered by something, shrieking loudly.

R2T22: Iluvar calls out, "Myki, don't get drawn away. If they wants a fight they will have to come to us. Everyone off the walkway as quick as we can do we are not targets!"

Iluvar looks at the door for dangers. He doesn't notice anything askew, and opens the door. As soon as he does, there is strange feeling, and he looks down at his chest where now there is an arrow protruding for 24 + disoriented (+5 bleed) that nearly staggered him.

R2T21: "New contact to the east on Iluvar!" The Scribe calls out. He then begins an oration of brave Pathfinders crossing a chasm while being attacked by boulders from stone giants, and his story brings fire to the heroes in his company. Meanwhile, he moves to the west while taking out his bow and sets his ranseur down.

R2T16: Akif spins the shield to cover from where the archer hovers and then glimpses the figure beyond Iluvar, "You I can reach!" he bellows and strides 10' east towards the foe driving the long spear over Iluvar's shoulder at the foe on the other side of him a roar of battle to inspire his allies echoing in the small area. His spear strikes the tiger-like woman in the right hand for 36 + shaken + confused, even as Iluvar heals 11 from silver, glowing energy.

R3T34: Myki disappears around the southwest of the building. Her voice is heard calling out distantly, "Contact!"

R3T27: This is in turn followed by a very angry screech, and then the winged woman appears from the north and west and flies out so she is 25' due north of Sisir, 15' above the level of the bridge. The winged woman doesn't appear to have a bow anymore.

R3T22: Iluvar studies this tiger lady for a moment and calls upon Pharasma for aid and engages them. "Nice shot!" he says to them. He tussles for a second as she does not easily lose her grip on her bow, but Iluvar's superior combat and inspiration finally have her weapon slip out of her hands to the ground. He then does an elbow drop to her knee for 13, but she seems too distracted by other things to notice the pain. He does a snap kick to her left hand (13) to finish off his sequence.

R3T21.5: The catfolk is now wild-eyed and focused on Iluvar. She draws her short sword and stabs wildly at the monk.

R3T21: The Scribe continues his oration to buoy his allies' efforts. He then zooms past Sisir on the walkway, over the heads of Akif and Iluvar, and opposite the catfolk. With a kick he strikes the catfolk from behind for 41 NL + prone.

R3T20: Sisir, the flying woman (now without bow) is 20' north and 15' higher than your position (off map). Your hypnotic stare has done wonders to tear down the other assailant. What do you do?

R3T20: Sisir shakes his head, saying, "Let's hope Myki makes it back in one piece, and without any new friends." Bowing his head momentarily, he recalls the feeling of sitting at home and looking out of the window at the early morning fog, as an illusory mist appears to his left, obscuring the walkway. Obstruction in place, he advances to once again stand behind his brother.

R3T16: Akif is pleased as his allies surround this strange foe and his brother appears to protecting them from arrows. He stabs down again at the foe over Iluvar's shoulder and into the catfolk's left lower leg for 55, but with Iluvar and The Scribe (and the house itself) crowding the prone woman, she doesn't go anywhere. Especially since she falls limp from that blow.

R4T34: Sisir, seeing through his own illusion, notes that when Myki enters the cloud she seems to instantly sense the illusion and goes to engage the winged woman, stabbing her in the right wing for 20 + sickened.

R4T27: The winged woman tries to get away from Myki, but Myki stabs her in the upper right side of the chest for 16 + sickened. The winged woman continues to open datum while drawing her longsword. She comes in low over the middle of the walkway, but seeing something to the east she alights and calls out, pointing to the fallen catfolk,"PLEASE! Stabilize Kanye. If you do, I will surrender and we can talk. Why have you broken into my master's home so armed and with such violence!?"

As Akif gets to just shy of the top of the stairs, he sees a clockwork soldier ready for him.

Begin Round One ...

R1T16: Red steps up and strikes Akif in his lower right arm for 19 mod, and then catches him again on the right shoulder for 20 mod. The sounds of battle are heard throughout, though the stairs with the big soldier blocking the top will make things difficult.

R1T15: Myki takes an extract, and her skin takes on a browner cast with bits of discoloration like the grains of wood. She then gets into a more utilitarian combat stance, sniffing the air for any trouble from unseen foes. "Report for all when you can!" she calls from way in the back.

R1T14: The Scribe takes out a wand and activates it on himself, and for a brief section a shimmering globe of force surrounds him.

R1T13: A man's voice is heard casting in the room above.

R1T12: Iluvar, you are behind Sisir, who is behind Akif, who is at the last bit of stairs. You can only just barely catch a glimpse (improved cover) of the clockwork soldier, and if you try to tumble past and fail, you will fall down the stairs back to this spot (as well as get hit). Those behind you (The Scribe, Myki) are simply buffing up for when they can move. What do you do?

R1T10: Akif grunts in pain at the savage battering from the clockwork soldier. He leans into the shoulder to bash it in the head for 34 mod! Since Akif attacked from below, the clockwork soldier is knocked 5' into the air and 5' backwards, but lands on its feet.

R1T9: Another clockwork soldier vaults over a table to stand in front of Akif and strikes the titan in his lower right arm with its halberd for 15 mod.

R1T8: Sisir, what do you do? The stairs are tight ... no room to go overhead, and tight enough to restrict the normal ability to move freely through allied squares.

R1T8: Recalling the feeling of seawater spraying on his face, Sisir wills forth a mist, filling the stairwell and spilling out into the room above. He then focuses his gaze on the automaton at the top of the stairs that his own powers allow him to perceive through his own fog.

R1T7: A curious little (size Tiny) clockwork dragon appears through the mist to hover above Blue's shoulder. It opens its mouth and a bolt of magic leaps forth to strike Akif in the center of mass for 4 force.

R4T13: The man's chanting voice is heard again, but this time, it is not as distant. There is a loud crack and buzz and a bolt of electricity drives right down the stairway from above the head of the clockwork soldier. The noise and smell of ozone is enough for Akif to hunker down and only take 17 electricity. Sisir, tuned in to his brother, likewise drops into a crouch for only 18 electricity. Iluvar and The Scribe both completely dodge the effect.

Now, at last, the enemy is visible (but wasn't at the time of casting). It is a tall, clean-cut, good-looking blond man with an odd set of mechanical wings flying 10' off the ground and above Red.

R4T10: Akif bellows in pain as the lighting courses over his body. "Brother, I am wounded - a mage!" he shouts out before launching an all out attack on the construct in front of him. He rams the edge of his lower shield into the soldier's shin for 15 mod. He tries to hit the other shin, but now the soldier is wise with a low guard.

R4T9: As Blue attacks, two duplicates of Akif appear in and around him; they don't protect him, but his armor does. Unfortunately, the mesmeric mirrors don't protect against the soldier's second attack, either, as the halberd cuts into the lead titan's chest for 15 mod.

R4T7: Another bolt escapes the tiny dragon's mouth to hit Akif in the chest for 4 force.

R5T10: Akif feels the impacts, blood pouring down his flanks, but with enemies ahead and his allies behind on the narrow stairs he is wedged in an unenviable position. He lashes out forwards with the shield seeking to batter a path forward a great roar on his lips as he tries to spur himself and the others onward. His spear catches the soldier in the belly for 18 mod, but the second doesn't push through its metal form.

R5T9: Blue counters with a strike to Akif's right calf only to get rid of a mesmeric mirror Akif then shield blocks the second attack, and the second image goes away.

R5T7: The little dragon shoots forth another bolt from its mouth to strike Akif for 5 force.

R6T11: Iluvar looks at the Scribe and points to himself and the down the stairs. Then hold his index finger up to his lips. Moving quietly down the stairs, he tries to get a picture of what is going on.

R6T10: Akif spins the shield and the spear aggressively. Now relieved, despite the damage and wounds to his sides and chest. "I will hold them here. Deal with the mage," he commands as he jabs upwards twice as both attacks are deflected. He sees that Iluvar vacated his spot, so there is now a space to retreat, if needed.

R6T9: Akif and the clockwork soldier both are unable to land blows this round, their weapons and shield in contest.

R6T7: The tiny dragon belches another bolt into Akif's chest for 2 force.

R7T13: The sound of casting is heard from within the bedroom, but Iluvar is not at a good vantage point to see down at the corner where he is. Right then, from the corner behind where he stands, webs blast forth from that point to go up the stairs and south along the eastern wall! The webs roll forth to cover over Iluvar, The Scribe, Herifax, and even Sisir. However, all four of them are able to keep from getting stuck - they are inside the web, but not (currently) held fast.

R7T12: Herifax works her way out of where she is and out of Iluvar's sight. A beautiful, enchanting song is heard. It works at the will of the heroes, but none of the PCs are especially affected by it.

R7T11: Iluvar, you are within - but not stuck in - thick sheets of webbing. What do you do?
