Re: Rebellion: The Oncoming Storm
Eleara's blast of water severs one pod, while splashing hard against the Muk. The pod slams onto the deck, more Grimer taking shape. As the Sawk spins its low blow, one pod writhes in, taking the blow wholly, before whipping around and taking Loba's blow as well. As Capper jumps into a killer blow, another pod spins into the blow. Both pods sloth off, banging into the deck into more grimer.
Seeing its own body falling apart, the Muk gurgles furious hot breath at you, a globule of electrified sludge flying at Eleara, dealing 45 Physical Electric Damage. The first remaining Pseudo-Pod slammed a fire balled up sludge-fist into Loba for 45 Physical Fire damage. The last aims a glowing sludge-fist at Capper, but the defiant Scraggy blocks the blow.Awesome Avvy by Sizlord!

Seeing the pod take the brunt of his attack, and the subsequent Grimers, Boxer decides to take out his anger on them. Rounding the hole in the deck from where his master fell, the Sawk pushed off with enough force to throw two kicks at the remains of the pod; the grey slime things.

Aidan quickly scrambles up the ladder and around the supplies, seeing the new Grimers there and mentally cursing. Seeing that the Sawk is working furiously to cover Donny, he makes a beeline for the stairs and shouts, "Elly, hang in there. Hisei, nail one of those Grimers at the far end with an Ember!" The Vulpix moves through the supplies, and launches a burst of flame at one of the metal slimes that was struck by the icy blast.

Re: Rebellion: The Oncoming Storm
The Grimer assault is wildly successful, capturing one and killing 4, leaving one remaining. The First Pod swivels around at Mar's attack, taking the entire stream of bubbles. The Muk shoots a glowing globule at Capper for 51 Physical Fighting, Poisoning and Flinching him. The second Pod slams another electric fist into Eleara, dealing 71 Physical Electric Damage*, Flinching and Paralyzing her as well as pushing her through the deck, a few meters from the unconscious Donny. The First Pod slams a metallic fist into Ennis for 37 Physical Steel damage. The lone Grimer slams a fist into Mukoff for 22 Physical Steel damage.
Spoiler: *Ya.... Sorry Blues. Te damage was higher, but it would have pushed her to DST on the first Poison damage. I lowered it, so you have time. Some time.Last edited by MesiDoomstalker; 2013-09-30 at 12:31 PM.

Re: Rebellion: The Oncoming Storm
Aidan watches Elly get spiked through the deck, and shouts, "Eleara!" Cursing the entire situation in his mind, he yells, "Hisei, slag that Arceus Judged thing! Fire Spin! as he runs to the stairwell, ignoring his aching wounds and instead leaping down to the bottom of the stairs and bursting into the lower decks. A glance finds Eleara's form - hurt badly, but still breathing, thank Arceus - and he flips two Pokeballs into his hand, one recalling the Vaporeon as he moves towards Donny, the other releasing Korex halfway up the stairs. Finally, he reaches the fallen Shaman and begins looking over his injuries.

Re: Rebellion: The Oncoming Storm
The first pods take all attacks at first, before collapsing, the last one taking the Fire Spin. Even from the revitalization from the Drain Punch, it still looked really bad. It decided to spew a wave of sludge at Boxer and Hisei. The fighting type managed to stem the deluge, but Hisei is washed up, taking 47 Special Poison. The sludge lingers on the supply tarp, some of it falling into the numerous holes that have appeared over the combat. The remaining pod sends an electrical fist at Hisei, but misses. The one grimer attacks Clamps, but the crap manages to deftly block the blow.

Eddie looks to the remaining pods, and the monster they're attached to.

Re: Rebellion: The Oncoming Storm
Boxer's kick destroy's one Grimer, but misses the other. The combination Mars Bubblebeam and Korex' Shadow Claw, the final pod falls, in time for Stig's Flame Wheel to crash into the Muk. Its body was quickly destabilizing, bits falling off. Its eyes shift around erratically, before fixating on Eddie. It slams whats left of its head into Eddie for 89 Physical Steel damage.
As it rights itself, a very large swath of its body falls off, hardened from Stig's attack. It gawks as part of its body sinks to the ocean floor. It lets out a tumultuous roar, new Pseudo-pods sprouting all over. One shoots out and strikes the remaining helicoptor, which plummets into the bay. The sludge holding you up begins to bubble and boil, the boat returning to the water with a loud splash. One pod strikes the boats hull on the side pushing you away from the flailing monster, towards the open sea.
The monster tries desperately to keep afloat, but it had become too unstable. It slowly slipped below the surface. Before Ennis or Aidan could do anything else, everyone top side notice the boat is riding low. Very low. Hisei backs up instinctual as water starts to pour onto the deck.
SpoilerDonny is still unconscious, even if he's in the positives. He'll take a few minutes to wake up as long as he remains in the positives. You are now free and Ennis can start driving the boat away.
Conscious people can make an Int or Wis check to figure out the best way to lighten the load.Last edited by MesiDoomstalker; 2013-10-03 at 11:32 PM.

Re: Rebellion: The Oncoming Storm
Aidan notices through the hole above as the massive beast sinks down, out of sight. Pulling out his remaining Lumlum Juice, he quickly injects Donny with the remedy to purge the poison from the man's system. "Is it over, then?" he says, more to himself than anyone as he checks to make sure Donny's stable. Noticing the water starting to pour down into the ship, he grimaces and says, "Guess not..." before calling out, "Hisei, try and light up some of those Grimers!"
Atop the deck, Hisei backs more towards the center of the ship before releasing a gout of flame at the remains of one of the Grimers.
