    The charge is an unmitigated disaster, Solomon and Teach missing wildly as they slip and slide on the seaweed strewn floor, blades going wild. A dagger flying across the room going astray as well.

    The "boss" zombie stands at the back, he mutters a few words and a layer of crackling black energy moves to surround him. The other zombies lash out at Teach and Solomon

    Teach in a fit of rage hacks down the zombie that wounded him, the two halves of the beast splatting onto the ground.

    Solomon tears most of his zombie's guts out before a nimble Darth steps in and hacks a razor sharp dagger into its head hacking it down.

    Ophelia moves up behind Teach, a welcoming pat on the back and a reassuring "Only 1 more to go now!" the healing spreading across his battered body.

    Knowing what might wait for him on the other side. Darth gathers courage and attacks. (but not being silly waits till he can flank and is healed).

    Teach kicks the remains of his zombie away and points his halberd at the zombie spellcaster. Keep your foul magic off my friends!

    With that he charges forward, leaping in the air and bringing the axe blade down hard on the vile creature.

    The fighting swirls around some. Only 1 zombie and the strange zombified caster left alive after the initial flurry of hacking and chopping. Even as Dirkwood darts down the corridor assailed by the dark magics ...

    Still bleeding from his bite Darth and Teach move to engage the caster. The Captain's blow being deadened somewhat by the unnaturalness of the creature, a similar resistance to what Darth feels as the dagger slices home.

    Solomon eyeballs the creature a little harder - a sudden thought coming into his head... a shouted "Use Silver to end it, it won't like that!". Even as he does he nods a thanks to Ophelia and leaps upon the last zombie slashing with sword and dagger to dismember it...

    The lowly zombie minion staggers back under Solomon's assault as he hacks into its shoulder. It retaliates savagely against the Inquisitor seeking to bit him again.

    The zombie boss, still assailed by a pair of angry adventurers is looking battered as again the heavy halberd slices into his frame and the knife slides into its back.     Solomon steps back, catching the attack on the pair of his blades. A smug "I think not you undead cur" is rapidly followed by a pair of brutal overhand chops from sword and dagger as the Inquisitor seeks to disembowel the zombie.

    Teach shrugs off most of the effects of the dark energy and feels his cuts and bruises heal at Ophelia's healing energy. He takes a step in to the undead commander and slowly and deliberately drops the axe blade of his halberd into the middle of its head.

    Teach's halberd slams into the creatures skull, the force of blow smashing it into the ground and splintering the bones. With the skeleton shattered the creature dies. Even as that happens Darth's dagger hacks into the last zombie ending the threat....

    Solomon leans forward on his swords breathing heavily. "Not a nice experience. Vile creatures. Do you think there are many more of the beasts around here?"

    Breathing heavily as his focus slips away, Teach looks to Ophelia, looking for any obvious injuries. Are you ok?

    Seeing she's ok, he sets his halberd and starts going through the caster's pockets and answers Solomon.

    I don't know. It looks like a pirate crew that was caught down here. If it's all one crew we've probably got them all - an away party of more than 8 seems unlikely - but unless our friend here has some useful information on him we'll probably never know where they all came from.

    And can someone tell Dirk it's safe to come back and play?
